*I concentrate my chakra into the lake and begin imagining a shark*
*I have to concentrate a little more because the lake is bigger than what I am used to*
*I put more chakra into it but I have to make it steady or else I will waste an unnecessary amount of chakra*
*I begin to imagine a shark but limit it to a medium size one so I don't exhaust myself*

Advantage: In a battle this can be useful. You could perform this technique but confuse the enemy by you making an attack, distracting the opponent, then having the shark attack. You could use it as a straightforward attack but where would the fun be in that? Defense? You could send it at your opponent while you escape. Seriously? Seems better as an attack move.
Disadvantage: You need a water source to perform this technique. It is limited to short range so you can't send it to your opponent if he is mid-range or long-range. And the big obvious that it is a suiton based which mean it is weak towards doton.

Then I turn the chakra into water. After the water has been created I begin to manipulate it into a whip.*

I close my eyes trying to concentrate on the sounds around me.
I can hear the water and the trees whistling. The sound of the birds chirping and the water produced by the clones.
I begin to think about the properties of water and how water is able to change its shape.
I need to manipulate the form of water to go from a abstract thought to the form of a whip and how it can entangle my opponent.
I imagine the water tying my enemy and becoming strong enough to hold them down.
I begin drawing my chakra within me focusing on the handsigns.
I form my hands into the first handseal.
The rat.....nasty rodent and coincidentaly my first summoning.
I wrap my fingers on top of my right index and middle finger.
The dog.....I hate dogs.
I put my right hand into a fist and put my left hand on it flat.
The Ox.....only good for plowing fields.
I make a devil handsign with my left and cross my fingers through it flatly.
Now I do them in again in a successive manner.
And then again.....and again.
I try to get it right as if my life depended on it.
I may be in a war or situation that would require me to hurry up. But must maintain its form and not allow it to take another shape or form as to not ruin the jutsu.
I perform the handsigns once more and focus my chakra at the same time doing my best to make it into a whip that can extend far.
Advantages? Good long range attack or as a restraint. Can be used to reach high places as well if used properly.
Disadvantages? Weak towards doton. Cant restrain the enemy well since it is not a solid.
