Yes, Nekobaa was canon. Lol Hebi made a trip there because that was where the Uchiha clan would get supplies from. Sasuke wanted his team to be well-equipped, so they bought some things from the place.

Also, that girl that is with Kiba in ch 700 is Nekobaa's granddaughter, Tamaki.

I see. I only started reading the manga at around the middle of the war arc. When I watched that episode in the anime, I guess I just assumed it was filler Lol

Thanks for making a thread about Suigetsu because I actually forgot about him! You reminded me of how great a character he is again.

I reckon he added a lot of enjoyment in the manga. Team Taka needed someone like to him to lighten the mood. I love how he always managed to get onto Karin's nerves Lol.

And his teeth man, they're so cool! Also his fighting style with water. If he was shown in the epilogue, he'd probably have achieved his goal. I would've liked to see that.

Remember the little rant he made when Sasuke said he was going to revive Orochimaru? I loved it! He even told Sasuke up front in his face the only reason he beat Orochimaru in the first place was because his arms were sealed Lol Suigestu was that truth spreader!

Lol, tbh Suigetsu's always been one of my favs (top 20) ever since I saw him. In fact, before I started part 2, I'd seen my brother watching an episode with him and team Taka in it and I couldn't wait till I got up to that part... Nice thread!

Great thread! Sorry for the late post, i was asleep. Suigetsu had so much great potential but Kishit never expanded on him(and the rest of Taka). But still, even with being pushed to the side by Kishit, he's still a wonderful character. Also, I think he has Samehada and that sword Chojuro had :skorm:

Thank you for this thread, it's a nice change of pace from what's been going on here recently. Suigetsu is definitely a cool character, I've always liked him, even if he started to get reduced to comic relief a little towards the end of the manga

He's pretty underated, too. Raiton GG of course, but he was going toe to toe with the Hachibi while in his water golem.

I always liked Suigetsy He's funny, I love his expressions, his side comments, he also cares for his team and he has awesome skills indeed!! He gives team Taka that funny positive mood along with his arguments with Karin xD

Suigetsu is one of my favs , his character is agreeable and his humor is truly enjoyable (especially when he used to get under Karin's skin).
His fighting style is very unique (water pistol lolz)
And albeit being a little bit sadistic and reprehensive, he has shown that he holds a remarkable fidelity to his comrades as we could see it in the KB fight when he chose to sacrifice himself as a decoy to buy his fellows some time so they could get away from the blast and go to safety, which was really brave and cool.
He doesn't hold back while expressing his true feelings when it comes down to it. it is a very respectable aspect of his.
It is a shame tho that he never got to meet his Edo brother or even his Edo predecessor (Hozuki Gangetsu, aka Trollkage). and we never could see him in the final chapter fulfilling his goal to be the Master of the 7 swords of the mist.

And he's pretty good looking too :
