Suggestion: Seven Swordsmen of NB

Also there are no rules about custom swords and i am not up for making any of those nor approve a sword that will be made to either shoot chakra out, or smell the opponents blood or just make the opponent pee on himself.

but you do have a good point...

so how about this, they 7 swordsmen are made up of people from the below sanin rank? and once they achieve that rank they have to retire from the swordsman and give up their sword?

The young ranks don't get much part of this so below sannin rank or jounin it would be good for lower ranks

On a side note:


I was thinking that if swords were to be created, they should be build once (by a group of people who want to work on it) and pass down from swordsmen to swordsmen.

By building all the swords in a group, we would ensure that they are pretty much all equal in power and distributed to the best swordsmen for this sword.

It would be way more realistic (concerning the manga) and fair for everyone, as not everybody is creative when coming to custom and in this case: sword. The same sword would be used forever (or till the system fail :p).

what do you think?

O_O i don't see how it is overpowered one sword can be op and if it is we would check it

each sword would only have one ability that fits in with the naruto universe for ex my sword

kisame's eats chakra
so mines shoots my chakra in forms of bullets

but thats been shot down >.> so yea

This project is not dead akira.

If we used what I propose to make the swords (top quote)

what Dev said about the new system coming (lower quote)

and we make it accessible to everyone (Rei's quote).


What I propose:

We hold a tryout, were everyone is allowed and were no ninjutsu/genjutsu is allowed. Only taijutsu (no custom) and raw skills with a normal sword.

In other word, there would be no rank for this fight, but only skills.

After the fights are done, a group that would have been selected before would analyse the fight and select the 7 swordsmen of NB.

Furthermore, during the time the battles are hold, another special group (or the same judging) would build the swords (description,power,image :p). This way when analysing the fight, the judge (who knows the swords and their ability) would be able to select the best fighter fitting with one sword or another depending on their fighting style and skills.


All this would be incorporated in the new system coming.


Comments? Oppinion? Ideas?
