[Suggestion] Role Playing Tournment for temopary Modship

Ok I was thinking and I came upwith a idea I think we should hold a RP tournment and the winner should be able to be a mod for a short period of time

The whole reason for this is cause with NB and RL the mods never gets a break and some help I'm not going to go into too much detail on this one but that's my suggestion

How does winning a tournament prove your ready to become a mod... U_U It shows your battle skills but not that your responsible and ready to do so...

Chances are the the new mod would have no idea how to do the usual work the mods do, and so would mess a lot of things up, which overall creates even more work for the mods rather then helping in the slightest way.

Bad Idea. Like zoro says winning a tournament doesn't prove your capabilities to be a mod. It proves your fighting and RP capabilities nothing else.

Modship isn't about skills, it's about you as a person and being able to be trusted.

This is actually a good suggestion because Goro kaguya who was once a role play moderator was removed so i think there should be a tournament, which will be participated by specific people chosen by the administrators, preferably sensei who have a nice knowledge of role play in naruto base and like any other tournament, the person which is a good role player or the indivdual who wins or who is successful will triumph t moderator.

And who cares? Goro was removed however the mods never said they need someone new which means they can handle it

All of you are missing the point I'm not saying to put someone irresponsible as a mod and it wouldn't be a complete mod just checking bios and customs stuff like that not giving them the ability to to ban people the whole idea is to help out the mods so yeait would probly be a bad idea but I doubt anyone who's new would win and the person who did would probly do a good job I wasn't saying that its based off skill

Why would we give someone temporary access to check customs? If you think they would go crazy with banning people, how do you think they would be with Customs? You would see all sorts of OPed jutsu getting approved, because they wouldnt have to deal with the mess when thier term is over. I wasnt going to comment, but now I have to say "No, I dont believe this is a good idea" I think some people may be able to handle the responsibility, but I dont think something like this should be based on a tournament.

To check bios customs and...like you said "stuff" is to be a mod. Mods are mods because they have both skill (and this isn't only regarding the RP and fightning) and they fit into a certain profile that is deemed correct for being a mod, or expected at least, in a mod. Also, to check customs it takes a great deal of both RP knowlegde but also rule knowlegde, memory, skill, etc etc. Even if you are a great RPear it doesn't mean you have what it takes to be a mod.

The consequences and variables introduced into that suggestion are so many and so deeply wrong that i can't even begin to explain why it wouldn't work.

Ok well like I said this was a bad idea I just wanted to see what people though now everyone thank you for your views I just though the mods needed help but maybe that isn't the right way to go about it
