Suggestion on social groups.

The suggestion I have is pretty simple, I for one hate the current layout a social group has and I had an idea.

Why not make the social group layout that of a normal sub forum?
It would be like having your own sub forum but it would actually be a social group.

Though, I am not sure if ^ is possible, and if it isn't, why not being able to create your own sub forum and let certain people that you choose be able to see it.

^ Probably already been suggested.

I think it was something to do with it taking up (too much ? Not even sure) space. Or something like that.

I'm pretty sure that was taken down because people were abusing it to get their posts up.

Well, as someone said, it wasn't like that long ago. When I first joined, we had all forums feature - including poll making, thread subscription ect...

It got taken down and if it were to be implemented, we'll need to know exact reason about why this was done by an Admin and what solution we may find towards the issue that caused this change. Ever since SGs became like how they are now, I've nearly stopped visiting most of them.

The 500+ social group subforums we once had took a big tool on the loading time, so it was taken away and mostly likely it'll never be brought back.
