Ok... My suggestion is pretty simple and reasonable...
There are 2 parts...
My first suggestion is:
Since the custom elements thing is really a patent... I suggest that it be open to anybody to patent custom elements... maybe at Kage rank...
but then they can not USE the element they have patented until they meet the _____ posts requirement...
this will make it so that people dont spam all the way up to ______ posts only to be declined and have all their work be meaningless. And so that people who come up with an idea before other people arent disappointed when someone else makes it first just because of a higher post count because they spammed more.
(the way patents work in real life is that anybody can patent an idea and not even be close to having that idea put into development or production so if somebody else along the line comes up with that idea it is already protected and patented by you...)
I also think that 10,000 is arbitrarily high...
so my second suggestion is that this number be reverted back to the old 7,000 post requirement...
This is Legendary Ninja rank... and is much more reasonable...
there are only a small handful of people with 10,000 posts so it kind of breaks the system a little...
as it is i can see myself getting 7,000 in a few months but 10,000 doesnt even make me want to try... lol
it will only fuel a ridiculous amount of spam...
