Yes I would like this. I don't have a scanner but I do use the graphic tablet to draw and edit in photoshop, illustrator. I suggested something kinda similar but you convey the idea much better

...Umm...<.<....>.>...So...Ok how about this,this digital fanart contest will be the continuation for the traditional fanart contest.I mean,after the trad.fanart contest has finish voting and we get 3 winners.You have to choose between those 3 and "remaster" or digitalize it eg. Cleaning,coloring,effects,etc.Since not all people can draw as good as their coloring or otherwise.You also can try entering your own fanart if you hv both skills.

I think the only problem is that there are people who submit colored fanart for the contest. They would have to make the traditional fanart be black and white art only. If they did that then the people who like to color things traditionally would be saying what we're saying now. If they did that, they it could work.

yeah i guess it could be a problem unless there is a B&W Fanart contest..

for some reference,go search for HandBanana artwork in fanart section,altho he only copy off manga but still good enuf
