Let me start off by saying No hate to NK scorps lok or any of the custom checkers I understand you guys have busy lives that is actually why I'm making this suggestion to try and help lessen the work load. As you can see the customs thread hasn't been checked for the last three weeks since it was closed due to the unfortunate inactivity of the checkers which is understandable but really slows down the whole process in those three weeks three cycles could have happened or two depending on the checker. The mods that check have other responsibilities besides just real life such as the role play, infractions and deleting posts checking fights and conducting battle tests ontop of custom checking.

My suggestion is we have mods that specifically only have one job to check the custom jutsu, custom fighting style and custom elements jutsu threads (custom elements bueru I feel should be kept to cail) they would have to apply for it of course and be apporved so that they can be known as someone trust worthy enough to approve customs and would be given moderation only over the jutsu subforum (maybe even allowing them to work on the canon jutsu list as theres still quite a number of canon jutsu yet to brought into the rp even if they are the op ones introduced towards the end of the series) This way they can focus on just the customs and can even alternate cycles (or replace someone for a cycle if they're inactive) and the other mods would be relieved of custom checking duties freeing them up alittle and keeping the custom threads from being closed for months at a time because the one or two checkers can't because of other responsibilities.

In short Mods that are there for just the customs it would help the staff the base members waiting for customs and would in the end help everyone.

A couple new mods would not hurt in the slightest, but for some reason they feel as if either no one currently is mod material, or they think they got it under control. I personally feel like L, Mudo, Souji, or Tsuki would be great Mods. Each of them are very nice people, very competent in the RP, and have loads of talent. But, things are going alright with Scorps back. NK is semi-inactive at the moment due to stuff, Scorps is rechecking shit from ages ago, and Chris is doing everything he can. Reborn has the bios under lockdown right now, and all of them need to devote as much time as they can to canon updates for characters as well as abilities. Sharingdork's modship has been unfortunately dissatisfactory due to the inactiveness throughout his modship. Adachi is inactive as well, which is upsetting because he is a great checker of CJs and is very good with the sensei stuff. Typhon does work every now and again which is good, but I just wish we had a couple more active mods to mix in with the on and offers. ;-;

I agree, no hate to the current mods but it would make the creative aspect of fighting more enjoyable if the techniques were checked at a faster pace. In any case, thanks to all staff for the work you currently do u-u

Just pointing out, but the bold is done by all RP Mods, regardless of their job so the same would hold for any new RP Mod as well.

As for canon jutsu, most have been created or edited/revised. Once checked and reviewed, they will be implemented into the RP.

On relation to the actual suggestion, this was suggested not a month ago , and I add on to what Lawliet said: Cali knows the situations you mentioned and if he feels new mods are to be made, he will open apps again/choose who he feels is right.

As you all know, I was a central piece in most tasks you list here. However, for reasons beyond my control, I could not perform them for quite some time. As much as I hate it, I'm human and I have flesh. Flesh gets sick. Flesh has friends and family who get sick or need your help. As I'm human and not god, sometimes luck doesn't shine and as such, it happens that misfortunes of various natures take place in my life. And when all that happens, sadly, things like the two jobs I have or paying the bills or helping out the real people around me or even taking care of myself, all need to be put first, in front of NB. And when I say "I" and personalize this, I'm really meaning "us" as in "the staff". It happens to all. Its a free community, a free game, maintained by volunteers. Some latency in some tasks from time to time aren't such a horrible catastrophe.

I'm back and will resume a healthy activity. I'm sorry that it had this snowball effect on the community and I'm sorry I haven't adressed it publicly and clearly before. But it is how it is.

There will be times when we have things under control and others when we cannot respond to it all. The reason why the admins don't jump into a freenzing of making new mods when a period of latency happens is because 12 mods won't necessarily do a better or faster job than 6. I know this by experience. It depends on so many more factors than simply the number of mods.

This said, I'll link this suggestion to Caliburn but I've talked to him recently about it and he is evaluating the situation carefully.
