Suggestion : Adult Section

nothing against mods generally, but there are some Mods/S Mods who abuse their privileges.

thats why i said an Adult mod should be in charge of such a section

To be honest, I think some guys are just too hung up on this "adult-child" thing. I've seen children, no older than 15, act more mature than most 'adults' to begin with, besides, comparing like so doesn't seem very mature at all.

Btw, the adult section, I wonder if it is even feasible, also, it's something that'll only encourage those who can't, but want to be part of this, to find ways to become part of it, as Hells said, they'll just lie about it anyway.

Focusing too much on the ages and behaviour of people instead how to have fun, that's where most people are mistaken. It's a forum where fans all over the world meet after all, don't mind the petty-minded.

Unfortunately thats not very effective, tried it before, it wouldnt hurt to have one more section when there are so many others like Vs threads etc..

There is a section for you: it's called the Premium User section. You contribute to the site and you can visit it. Doesn't mean you can break the rules, but in theory, you could go there and Discuss Naruto without younger members spamming/flaming you. Though, not much Naruto discussion happens in that section.

If this is a cover-up for Explicit Content and other "adult" discussions, topics, and such, then no, absolutely not. There is nothing on this site that needs to be age-restricted.

Adult section? This is not reddit. This is a family site. As for getting bashed, it's to be expected, as said this is a family site, not a place for you to post porn and discuss who you last slept with. This site is for anime, there are other discussion sections but that's all you're going to get, those discussions are already at a stretch as it is. If you don't want to get bashed then don't make yourself such a target for you to get bashed for ideas like this. You insult mods in your posts and yet you don't want to get bashed? If you dislike the forum, then go to reddit or any other site that may suit your "Needs". But this is a family site, not a hentai or erotica site. The people here are not all over 18. It's unacceptable to you? Oh great, we have another person who thinks he runs the site. No one cares if you think them doing their job is unacceptable. I don't go to burger king and tell you how to do your job and you will get bashed until you can read what you type and learn to understand situations as is. Actually, based on your actions in this thread alone, I am uncertain if you would be permitted into such a section.

Maturity is not determined by age alone. If you don't want immature people ruining your discussions, create a social group and report any member that tries to spam/bash/flame, etc... and the person will be dealt with.

1) I Find it stupid that there is no Section for Adults in the whole forum whilst there are sections and sub sections of favorite tvstars, naruto characters and shit - the Admin seems to be childish as well, because they couldnt think of creating a section for grown ups to have a Discussion!!, im not talking about sections like "General Discussion" or Chatter Box, im talking about a section Age Limited!!

2) The reason is obivious, NB loves to bash people regardless of their age "including Admins and S Mods" they love to bash the most!!, its really true, anyway..

3) you see a guy telling his opinion as i am right now - and he gets bashed for no good reason by several members, including words like "eff you, or ess me idiot, moron etc.." the other day i saw that an S Mod Lawliet to be exact had deleted one of my posts in her silly poem thread and replaced it with "im an idiot, reason, yes you are" i realize that would only make her so, but what the hell"?? 4) now my first thought would be that they are probably kids or teenagers, it shouldnt excuse it because that only tells of their bad manner, but it cant be changed - what is intolerable is that these Kids would bash anyone and everyone even Grownups, those who are old enough to be their fathers, or Big brothers, Older sisters etc.., that is unacceptable to me!!, 5) and i think it would push away the older people from the site, thats one of the reasons NB are mostly teenagers, because in other sites i have seen many Older people read/discuss naruto i know someone whos 48 and likes naruto, when i asked him why hes not on NB, he said its for children only!, but it shouldnt be!

therefore i think there should be a Section for Adults "over 18" to be able Discuss Naruto and Other stuff in a more mature way, and get the understanding deserved!!

1) Regarding this, sorry but the forum is made for anyone who is actually able use the internet. This means that you'll find people of every age here, from children to teenagers to adults. Its not the objective of the site to make a section for adult discussion of Naruto or adult discussion of Manga. Its not a site for that as that would basically be turning the backs on the younger members that constitute about 80% of the bulk of members. If you want a site for that, you can go elsewhere. What you ask is like complaining that Amazon doesn't host videos. Its simply not logical to ask for something that is beyond the main purpose of the site. This site is designed and though out for a given target and it works for that target. If you find yourself annoyed by it or if you find yourself too grown up for it, then join another site. Last time i checked, the internet was a gigantic, immense world were you could roam freely and NB doesn't stop you from doing it. So, whats stopping you?

2) oh yes, the reason why a family friendly site to discuss manga and anime doesn't have an adult section is because we like to bash people. Makes perfect sense. Now, you said you were 21? You sure? Because that's the same reasoning i get from 12 year olds on this site most of the time. We don't bash people...except when they bash us. US, the staff....who work for free so that YOU, a member, can complain about something useless. WE, take time from our personal lives to keep the site working and running and keeping a community of about 3000 daily members active and growing because WE dedicate ourselves to something we cherish and love: NB. WE, childish staff, do our best, as YOU, members of this community enjoy the site for free, without, most of the time, even following the rules. Yet, YOU find it that WE are childish because WE don't have an adult section? Yeah...

3) The moment you chose Lawliet as a supposed example of misconduct amongst the staff was the moment you showcased your immaturity and your lack of judgment. From all of the staff member, the most tolerant one is Lawliet. She is the one that generally appeals to our (rest of the staff) "tolerance". Yet you feel she wronged you? Sorry, but that, 99% of NB can't buy.

4) Now this is just offensive. Are you seriously suggesting that you are old enough to be my dad? Dam! You must be really old. Because you assume we are children, you immediately assume you are older and more mature than we are, which is, by definition, ridiculous and completely untrue. But even if true, your reasoning is that of a ranting old man, senile in his long years of complaining about the supposed misdeeds of the youth that you no longer understand. Such rantings generally are followed by lack of sphincter and bladder control and heavy doses of medication. Tell us, are you already that old that it gives you the right to talk like that to us? Don't think so.

5) at this point, its fairly clear that you dislike NarutoBase Forums. So, why bless us with your presence if the site is that childish for such a highly educated, intelligent and mature adult?


If you truly were an adult, you wouldn't have made this suggestion using that tone. A mature, educated adult doesn't post childish, ridiculous accusations and statements. An intelligent person wouldn't also offend those who can make his suggestion come true. Making such a section wouldn't make a difference for you, as i'm sure that with your age/maturity you wouldn't even gain access to it. This brings us to the core: you either have a 2 digit IQ or your purpose wasn't to get this suggestion approved. Since you seem to be able to type in a somewhat understandable manner, I assume its the second. In that case you are basically either trolling or spamming by making this thread knowing beforehand that your attitude would prevent it. Or did you think that accusing the admins of being childish would make them bow down to your will?

And just for the record, the suggestion itself, having been made many times before, has nothing wrong with it even if it doesn't make sense for the site and its purpose. Your tone, accusations and lack of common sense however, are an issue.

Your suggestion has become null and void. You claim to be 21 but yet act as if you're 5 years old. Or do you not remember that poem you made insulting not only me, but every other member on this forum as well(including the staff)? I could of easily infracted or banned you, But i chose not to. I'm 100% sure you knew nothing good was going to come out of your post. So who's the idiot?

Just because we have certain members who are staff. Doesn't mean you have free reign at insulting them.

In case you didn't understand what i said - here it is in simpler terms:
I'm not going to tolerate your bullsh*t.
