I was thinking that maybe we can have a competition of fan manga's or doujinshi. Maybe they can be Naruto doujinshi, bleach, dragonball or maybe an original doujin? First they would be to entertain and show off your work but then their would be a poll to rank them as first place, second place, you name it! The winners will win an award or whatever you guys decide.

You probably wont except this idea but I just felt like speaking my mind.

It's not that we don't except it, the problem is it probably would have barely any contestants due to it's a lot of work to make something like a fan manga. We used to have an AMV-contest, though most people love to see fresh AMV's, it dried out because not much people would or could make them.
It would be the same with this contest, because it's very hard. You need to make both a story and drawings, so it's 2 contests in one.

I would love to read fan manga's, but it would have barely any submissions.

I have to agree with Caliburn, there just wouldn't be any participation because of the difficulty of the project. Plus you would need atleast two different people to write and draw the manga. While this could be done by the same person, not everybody is a good artist or good writer so most likely they will work in pairs. I think instead of writing a new fanfic and illustrating that each week, it would be better to take a already written fanfic and have that illustrated. but thats still a lot of work, and lately it seems that the contests have been losing participation

So far i havent seen anyone posted any fanmade manga. They dont even have "FanManga" section to start with actually i tried once or maybe twice,i asked permission from Roku to use his fanfic to make it into manga,and..I think it was vengeance? who requestd from me to make his fanfic into manga.But i was pretty much failed XP it was hard..And you need a very long period of time..Not to mention a free schedule.If i werent working i would try harder>.>
p.S:sorry for those who requestd from me >.< i guess i cant really fulfill it,but there is a chance tho i might try and complete it.I guess im pretty much off topic now XD
