Subbed. In Japan, the voice actors are more professional than the actor actors. In America, the opposite is true. I mean, don't get me wrong, Michelle Ruff is as fantastic an English Dub voice actor as you can get. But she just doesn't have the finesse as the Japanese voice actors do.

Michelle Ruff did Rukia and Zabimaru in Bleach, Kluke in Blue Dragon, Etna in Disgaea, and several characters in Code Geasse, by the way.

You seem to know a lot about dubbed XD do you watch both? or just subbed?

It's unfortunate that Dubbed is obviously far behind in anime, so I don't usually watch dubbed. However, many actors for Dubbed usually branch off into video games as well. Just look up Michelle Ruff on her Wikipedia page. She does LOTS. I would not be surprised if she's commissioned/recommended to do characters and makes sums of money from it.

Never've seen FMAB dubbed, for Naruto, I don't agree mate.. He sounds like Gohan on drugs XD

Killer Bee and Sasuke in dubbed are better than sub, but yeah Naruto is a voiced by a 40 yr old lesbian

Bleach? is bleach good in dubbed? Never've seen bleach in dubbed.
Johnny Yong Bosch play Ichigo. So his voice is badass when Ichigo is serious.

Overall, I'd say it's okay at best.

Thinking bout games, I prefer DBZ subbed when it comes to games.

I never watch dubs. Just because of the fact that some dubbing companies will put false information into the screenplay, just to fit the characters' lip movements.

Example: Kaioshin saying that Kid Buu Is stronger then all his previous forms.

Plus, Dubs tend to sound unnatural, and unsynchronized.

I know what you mean mate, Feel the same way about it although I must say DBZ sounds good in dubbed
Bleach doesn't sound so bad from what solo has shown and FMAB sounds promising

i'm probably a 1% but i prefer dubs. it sticks to your memory better when you hear it in a language you udnerstand. for instance all of itachi's sayings when i heard them in japanese they didn't stick, yes the subs sticked to memory but it's not the same. the emotional bonding is stronger when it's in a language you understand. plus i really don't like the japanese language, it's personal preference but it counts i guess.

tell me this doesn't sound better in english:

Goku is a grown ass man. He should not sound like a little kid.

DBZ English Audio:

DBZ Japanese Audio:

Anyone who think DBZ was a good japanese dub.. is a freaking lie.

It's all about personal preference! It doesn't sound that bad but I do think the voice doesn't fit Itachi, the voice actor sounds too old

For animes like Naruto i prefer subbed as it sounds more authentic. However, for movies such as Akira etc i prefer dubbed, as i dont like sitting through an entire movie of that calibre reading subtitles
