Sub Vs. Dub?

Nauro's dubbed voice is the reason i hate the dub. He always sounds like he's yelling and growling even when he clearly drawn/shown talking calmly

same here. i only watched the first few episodes of shippuden as dubbed and i really didn't mind it, deidara, kakashi, gaara and might guy in particular were quite good. sakura i didn't dislike any more than usual but naruto's voice actor is a travesty. just because of him i'd rather not watch the show at all than watch the dubbed version, it's that bad. his japanese voice actor is perfect for the role, but they really messed up with the english one.

overall i prefer subbed even without taking naruto into consideration. the emotions just come off much better, and the characters sound more interesting.

I, personally, like both. I always insisted on watching the original Naruto in English because I could understand the characters without the subtitles and I preferred it that way, but since the English dub is so far behind I made myself watch the original Japanese. And now I love it~

Now this I agree with 100%. Naruto is such a great character. Played by a woman or not, he should have a better English voice. Sometimes I go back and watch the original English anime and think, "Did his voice actually get a little less manly in Shippuden?" Blah.

What's up with all you guys saying Dub Naruto sucks? It only sucks because VIZ Media had that very long hiatus, and not the Dub of Naruto Shippuden is light-years behind the Sub of Naruto Shippuden.

Dub has Crispin Freeman as Itachi. Nough said. He's as good as Dan Green (Yu-Gi-Oh)

Only Dub i like is Dragonball z

well personally for me in most of what i watched either the dubbed stopped airing on tv or i just wanted to catch up with the subbed and i mean i love the dubbed some voices yes i hate like dubbed one piece luffy omg its a girl and its like nails on a chalkboard subbed is way better in and i will agree naruto isnt that great a dubbed but there are good supporting dubbed characters they should have just done better jobs casting people for dubbed because i would much rather watch a dubbed that has good voices than to have to basically read the episode then go back over and watch it so i know what happened in the subbed but not only does the dubbed kinda miss the mark on voices for characters but in like every sub-dub senario i know of the dub is just not even close to where the subbed is compaired to where the manga i would say on average the dub is over 100 episodes behind the subbed and because of that there aren't really any dubbed forums or if there are they are usually not very popular/active
which leads me to the subbed is better but if the dubbed could catch up to the sub and maybe get a man to play a male character to actually sound like its a guy rather than some high pitch little boy then i would say dub but that is not the case
also hinata dubbed or subbed has the perfect shy/high pitch voice imo
