i couldnt tell u..only thing i know is its a respectful greeting to somebody..for example in america its like saying(this is an example name) Mr.joshua or joshua sir

It's like a term of endearment or respect. Like saying Mr. President-sir or Danny-boy.

san, chan, sama, dono.. these are all honorific sufixes... meaning, that they are used to show politeness and respect

since the time i had started to watch naruto, i had made a hobby, noting down different japanese words and phrases......... its a quite funny sounding language........ no offense to any japanese bro...........
