Kimimaro was by large and far the strongest of the bunch...not even close...for as we all know and saw he literally took all four of the other Sound 4 on at once in a 1-on-4 fight at full power breaking out their respective curse seals and Kimimaro whooped all them...solo w/o showing as much as a sweat

He can do it to Gaara, but only if he gets past his defense

But neji can't take chakra out of sand

Correction; Neji was said to be the strongest genin out of Konoha by Rock Lee; so that doesn't include or take into account the then genin of other villages such as Gaara who is btw far stronger than Neji

and even that staement of Neji by the end of Part II proved to be unture as both Sasuke and Naruto surpassed Neji after the chunin exams. So while Neji was the strongest genin from Konoha prior to the chunin exams; by the time of the chunin exams and Jiraiya taught Naruto to access the kyuubi power within him, Naruto surpassed Neji in power and strength, even beating Neji into paralysis while Naruto still had all the energy in the world allowing him to jump around and celebrate after the battle not worn out or anything. And then Sasuke by the end when he pushed his cursed seal to level 2 had also clearly surpassed Neji; altho that too would have been a good fight

And yeah, I'm a Neji fan, but Gaara has more chances of winning. Apart from Gaara, Neji was the strongest of Konoha 11.

That's what I'm saying, if anyone was in the same situation as Neji, they would've probably lost the battle.

And yeah, PnJ works wonders..a couple of 12 year old brats defeated 5 jonin adult assasins with curse marks. Yeah, that works.

Neji was said to be the strongest Genin because of his mastery of the Gentle Fist. He was extremely skilled at the time when Naruto had only Shadow Clone Jutsu and Sasuke was relying on Lion's Barage and Chidori. I'd say even though Naruto beat Neji, he could've won in another battle because Neji was completely fresh (meaning he had a lot of chakra and stamina left) to perform multiple Eight Triagrams. The triagrams only seal 64 chakra points or 128 out of 360 that are scattered throughout the whole body. If Neji could've landed at least one more Eight Triagrams, Naruto was done for. Where was he going to release the poor chakra he had left?
