They are Itachi's eyes though, so it is borrowed power otherwise he would be blind.

The eMS could actually be considered as "own power" in my opionion, because the eyes gain only the new light due to the new user. And you don't gain the Dōjutsu of your patron, but only your own. The user of the eMS is able to release his own potential without any restrictions.
And SM Naruto could beat the Sandaime Raikage probably too.
