- It took Guy all of his effort to restrain Lee without permanently hurting him.

He went toe-to-toe with a taijutsu master Kimimaro. Just LOOK what he's capable of in this fight. Unpredictable and ridiculously powerful, Rock Lee can also open all of the gates and probably wouldn't hesitate too whilst in his drunk state. Don't forget the leg weights.​

Guy could have easily beat him, but restraining someone is much harder than beating them. That is why it took Guy all of his efforts, not because Lee is hack or anything. The strongest person Lee beats in my opinion is Yamato.

No way. I'm a Yamato fan but they're both jonin just like Yamato and have more variety in their attacks. They're on a similar skill level.

Yamato is on a similar skill level to Temari & Kankuro and maybe even higher. Lee can beat them too.

Both Guy and Neji were trying their hardest to restrain him without actually hurting him because they were teammates, which is much harder than going all out on him like Kimmimaro was doing since they were enemies. They were also trying to keep him from destroying too much of the restaurant or hurting anyone else whereas Kimmi fought Lee in a wide open grassy plain without having to worry about protecting anybody else from him.

The situations between the two scenarios are completely different and would make a difference in their performances.

If Guy or Neji were to go all out to attack him, then they would be able to fend him off just as much as Kimmimaro did.

Remember, the SD series is just for comedic purposes.

If the two were to have a no holds barred match between themselves, then Neji wouldn't have to worry about hurting Lee and be able to hold his own accordingly just like Kimmimaro did.
