I think the strongest Jounin is Darui by the way he fought Kinkaku and Ginkaku.

Darui should be the strongest jonin. Kakashi is already kage material so that would be unfair to the others.

These two shinobis were strong enough to rage havoc on the peace treaty ceremony between the Second Hokage and the Second Raikage, the two brothers staged a coup d'état that left the Hokage on the brink of death. If they can do that to a hokage, this can only mean that they are insanely strong.

yeah but what you are missing is that darui won with luck. he lost the battle but what do you know his phrase changed at the last second and got away.

then he is behind the two and the two think darui is gone. so darui takes one of them down.

it wasn't like that back then. it's possible they both went into the kyuubi mode at the start and as you recall darui along with kitsuchi wasn't enough for 1 of them let alone 2 at once
