I think Gin is the stongest. Kenpachi is also very powerful, but he doesn't have a bankai so I don't know. If he would have one he would probably be the strongets, but as it is no, Gin

i think he meant current ones + i go with shunsui or unohana, BUT if we are talking about previous ones, than i would go with yoruichi or kisuke OR isshin

He said that until nobody beats him, he doesn't need further knowing of his katana, like a lazy ass. He doesn't need shikai or bankai, he's just that strong. You people doesn't get this, and this is discriminating against my fanboyism. Ken-chan is the strongest.

come on, we have seen byakuya lose to ichigo + if we are talking about current ones, it´s obvious that shunsui is as we still haven´t seen his bankai or maybe unohana is strongest, WHO KNOWS?
And where did you get that, from the back of your head?
Ken-chan is even fighting with only one hand, hence he doesn't need the use of the other, that's how strong he is. He even tries to seal his spiritual energy so people can "survive" around him LOL. Ken-chan is the strongest. Ken-chan doesn't even need his zampakuto's special abilities, unlike Shunsui Kyōraku who can't fight without it.
If he's the most powerful of the captain, why was Ichigo able to defeat him during the Shinigami arc before he had the necessarily skills to defeat Byakuya?
And people like you probably assume that Kenpachi can work his wa around all Bankai because he did it once. This isn't the case.
