Strong body/weak mind VS Strong mind/weak body

Prime example is Raikage: Extremly strong body, but pretty stupid.
On the other hand you have Shikamaru, pretty weak body, but extremly smart.

What would you choose? Brains or Body?

I wouldn't use the Raikage as an example. Naruto is the perfect example though. He's stupid.

In NV power ultimately means more than intelligence. As a side note, Raikage isn't stupid. He was just enraged at the 5 Kage Summit and became reckless because he wanted Sasuke's head.

R U STUPID? Power<Brains any day a strong dummy loses to a smart weakling. Look at Shikamaru he defeated Kakuzu and Hidan.... NO ONE ELSE COULD! Look at Kabuto his smarts lead to becoming a Dragon Sage and havin the entire Akatsuki under is hand until Lord Itachi Fodderized him. You can be powerfull but someone smart will outsmart you and you will lose with low difficulty.

Naruto is FAR from stupid atm. His analysis/strategy is almost on par with top tier strategists now.

Shikamaru only made a plan for Hidan. And he had days of prep. Now let's say it was a heat of the moment battle like their first encounter...he'd die. You have to have a good balance of power and intellect, but if you must choose one in the NV, overpowering your opponent is better.

on NB most times than not brains < power. Rarely you see someoen say a brainer character can beat someone that may be strong (like ay) but not that smart or as smart as the other character.

Brains can only shine through in cannon because NB vs is very simple its a war of the feats.

Dood he did not really plan in his fight against Temari yet in the manga he clearly said he came of with about 200 ways to defeat her... Even if he did not prepare he still would have outsmarted Hidan and still would have soloed Hidan! same with Itachi he NEVER really fought Kabuto yet he completely outsmarted Kabuto who was supposed to be Genjutsu proof and yet was defeated with Genjutsu even with his Power.

He's not stupid in general, he's stupid in comparison. Thats why i made the example. Raikage isnt even close to Shikamaru's intelligence. But compared to someone normal the Raikage is smart indeed.
