The dark king was truly like no other, his apprentice is a yonkou.

Zoro is aiming to be as strong or stronger than Mihawk, in which Mihawk is trying to best the student of Rayleigh red hair shanks.

I don't see Zoro with the caliber of producing future yonkous and casually soloing people without a care in the world.

He'll passed down his Asura thing or something close.

Chopper could be given Haki but he's not a cabin boy.

Get out. Zoro's glare and killing intent are noteworthy features that have been acknowledged by several character through the story. This doesn't mean it's enough to unlock CH, but is sure makes him a candidate. Specially the best out if anyone in the Mugiwara aside from Luffy is to possess it.

I had a theory that every Strawhat would develop King's Haki because they were chosen by fate to do something impeccably great to the world, and they would use it in different ways.

Luffy-We've seen

Zoro-His killing intent

Brook-Using King's Haki through his music to increase the strength of his soul-swaying abilities even further

Nami-Control the weather

Robin-Instill the knowledge she gains from the Poneglyphs to the rest of the world/when she tells them the truth of the Poneglyphs, having King's Haki would increase her disposition, making people believe her

Usopp-People believing his lies, a good battle tactic for him. Also, when he was doing that ¨Your fingernails are being plucked out¨ thing to people, with King's, he could actually force people to feel it when he says stuff like that to them.

Sanji-Since he can't fight women, he'd use King's to increase his charm towards any female enemies, swaying them to ally with him.

As for Chopper, Jinbei and Franky, I have no idea what it would do for them. Maybe for Jinbei it'd allow him to control sea creatures like a mermaid, but not on the level of a Poseidon incarnate.

Kings Haki is something that born with, not something that you unlock because his intent pleases you.

Its very possible that some of them will, Zorro I am confident eventually, will. He will need it if he is to be above everyone except Luffy and a few others. As the King of the Pirates should have the strongest First Mate out there and to surpass Gol D Roger, at least 2 others in the crew must be able to use it.

You're right, Zoro can't produce a Yonkou so he isn't KH material.

He isn't king haki material because he wasn't born with it period.

He doesn't need it

No other first mate besides the Pirate king ever had a first mate with KH so far anyway.

So you don't subject Rayleigh to any other first mate pirate's level
