Since I have heard a lot of people saying that luffy and zoro are around vice-admiral level as of now and considering how they are the strongest in their crew, what do you think will happen if something similar to the sabondy archipelago happens again when the crew got separated? Of course luffy will need to get a lot stronger and I really hope zoro learns to use his haki (he seems fairly close to being able to use).
So, what do you guys think will happen to them? Maybe the crew will get stronger again like how they improved so much against cp9 between water 7 and enies lobby?

There are different forms of Haki and its possible that Zoro already learned one from Mihawk. After all, He cut a ship and a Pacifista in half when he couldn't do that before.

i say they're above vice admiral level...probably just below admiral considering his advancement in all 3 forms of haki.
to answer ur Q, the whole reason dark king suggested that 2 year training was so that another sabondy situation doesn't happen. SR knows what kind of challenges await him since his already been there and done that. so im sure he hammered that into luffy.
..regarding zoro and haki...
there are 3 forms of haki
1.Kenbunshoku Haki, also known as Mantra on Skypiea, is a form of Haki that allows the user to sense the presence of others, even if they are concealed from view or too far to see naturally. With enough skill, one can use this haki to predict an opponent's moves shortly before they make them, thereby making the attack that much easier to evade
2.Busoshoku Haki allows the user to create a force similar to an invisible armor around themselves.(this can be used to defend or attack(logia fruit eaters)
3.Haoshoku Haki is a rare form of Haki that cannot be attained through training and only one in a million people carry it, it overpowers the opponents will. weaker(mentally) the opponent easier to overpower
...first 2 can be trained in, 3rd ur born with and the effectiveness increases through experience.
zoro may have been taught the first two, but we have no seen any sign of it yet. you done require haki to slice wood, his already shown he can slice steel long before the time skip
