Storm 3: are cc2 trolling?

As far a I can tell the only officially announced characters are Mifune, Hanzo and darui. These three characters have official trailers on the game site. We have also seen naruto, minato and sAuce in action but they don't have updated movesets.

cc2 has been workin on this game for at least 3years now and during this time they didnt have to build the game engine or fundemental gameplay elements (just tweak them). So since storm 3 is an official sequal (like the update between nuns 1-2) they should update all characters with bew movesets.

Is it possible they a simply using gens movesets for the demos so as to not give away potential combo changes? I.e they will reveal that all returning characters have an updated movesets in due course, but for now it's hidden. Or do you think cc2 will be lazy and have characters the same in storm 2, generations and storm 3.

Manga fans have already seem a lot of decent War Arc characters, that are still to appear in the Anime.
But Anime-Only fans havent seen much yet, compared.
So you're likely to find that they wont reveal more characters until they have made an appearnce/showed skills in the ANIME.
So that anime-anime only fans dont get spoilers for the show, before it happens

But it's likely that a lot of the older characters will be updated too

They haven't revealed anything, for example Sage mode Naruto got new abilities in generation; let's wait and see what others get

There would be a lot of very angry people that potentially would buy the game for that reason. Generations wasn't a true sequel so they could get away with it. Storm 3 is a sequal and therefore shoul have an update movesets for everyone (thus doesn't look the case so far).

Small gimmicks are nice and I am still going to get the game - but they really need to updaye the combos of everyone not just copy paste ten add 10 new characters and hope we won't notice.

I reccomend you rent the game before shelling out 60 dollars for a game potentially the same as generations. If you arent willing to do that at least watch the review which usually comes out same day.

generation has o nly been out for a few monts all does movesets are new for the new characters at least like susanoo sasuke and five kage naruto and the new sage mode there not gona redo every character moveset that would be ridicolous waste of money the put over 50 new characters in it so why work on the rest stop expecting so much

It's the same for going between storm 1 and 2. They are makin an official sequal to the series, they shouldn't have characters that have had the same movesets for 3 games. I don't think it's an unrealistic expectation considering they have been working on this game for 3 years. It's not like they had to build the engine or game system from scratch.

i really do hope they are leaving the actually move sets for the game release as from what i have seen chakra mode naruto is the same with no rasengan if he doesn't use rasengan in chakra mode i will be so depressed
