storm 1 compared to storm 2

First of all before i begin bickering about this has anyone noticed the new search thign when making a thread its awsome thanks v or whoever put that in!

ok now i was wacthing some ultimate jutsus from storm 1 i can't play it because i don't have a ps3 but still i played storm 2 and storm 2 compared to strom 1 is liek WTF :| not only in storm one are the graphics better but so are the ultimate ninjutsu, konoha and the stroy mode are all better then storm 2, were they even trying when they made that game? storm 2s graphics were ok but still the first game was much better on many levels except maybe the fighting and combos.

tell me which is bette rin your opion the first game or teh second. and did anyone notice in generations demo there was no boss battle even though tehy had pain vs sage mode naruto in the demo?

its cuz they spent more time on the first one and the one took up like 8gb of hdd thats why the graphics looked better
and gameplay wise i like storm 2 better

To be honest i have part 1 & 2 I like part one better , there's no spam effect on it like it is on part 2. Like say you use substitution jutsu and you end up behind the person it'll be real difficult even use rasengan or something like that to even spam on a situation like that in storm 1 you'd have better results with combos instead of spamming. It's more of a knuckle up match then a strategy game

I have both games and even if the 1st one had better graphics (I didn't pay attention) In my opinion a game is more about gameplay and controls then graphics, so I'd have to say I like the 2nd one better. Also I was upset about the lack of characters in Storm 1. I still wish Storm 3 would have had only Shippuden characters, cutting out all the main character's "young" form and adding others would have been nice. I want a Storm game with like 100 different characters, not 2 Naruto's, 2 Sasuke's, etc. with an advanced customizable moveset/skill option. I'm still gonna buy the 3rd game cause I'm a huge Naruto fan. I saw the fox mode for Naruto and was sold Also Tobi with a Madara "awakening" form or whatever it's called.

No, the reason why the 1st one looked better is because the 1st one was designed for the ps3. In storm 2 they had to make it for two different platforms instead of coding the game for one platform and then online mode you have to lower the graphics a little more to get decent framerate on those systems.

Imagine a boss fight against 6 tailed beasts or maybe team up online to take down Madara as the Kages. Future Naruto games have so many awesome things they can do.

i play the games for stroy mode and me vs computer on very hard thats the whole reason i bought tenkaichi 3 it had many chaters but bad stroy mode plus i couldn't play it online. plus it had gt goku >.> thats why i wnated generations strom 2 just looked fun when i first saw it so i bought it

thats gonna be a hard boss fight but that won't appear untill naruto storm 5 xd

strom 3 will be out next yera no way teh anime will be at tobis fight by then let alone the end of the seris.

amnd i can't wiat to do haku vs danzo which is possable because of generations :zonder:

Storm 1 was slicker and had better gameplay. I'm an xbox guy, but Storm 2 looked bulky compared to 1.


Storm 2 had a way better story than one aka walking around a village (Albeit it looked beautiful) doing stupid missions in order to do the story.

Storm 1 missed out on having Zabuza, Haku, Sound 4 though, but Storm 1 is the better game.

I own both.
I prefer the graphics & jutsu's in Storm 1.
The ultimates attacks were A LOT better, and loved Jutsu Clashes.
But I prefer the selection of characters, fighting arenas, and the online aspect of Storm 2.

So both had their good points, and bad points.
But if I had to choose, I think I prefer storm 2 by a little bit...

I used to have Storm 1 years ago and a ps3 and I did prefer it mainly due to move clashes..

It will annoy me if they don't put them on Generations as they do get set up alot with the PTS chars.

Simply put. The graphics in Storm 1 were much better, the details in the way the characters moved, the jutsu and the fighting was more challenging.

I liked that storm 2 had alot more characters to choose from, and the online mode was fun, cuz then I could play against my friends when they werent over.

If Generations brings back the awesome character detail, then I will be happy.

Overall Storm 2 is better. Storm's story mode was better than Storm 2, especially the roaming around.
