Description: Similar to Fire Release: Dragon Flame Release Song Technique, the user will make all his following fire techniques become so dense they resemble solids in composition. This technique doesn’t add any range to techniques but does in fact add damage due technique’s new found capability to inflict impact damage as well as burn damage. The technique applies to all Katon techniques from fireballs to stream of fire. The real utility of the technique stems from its ability to counter lightning and other energy-based elements which normally phase through each other with no interaction whatsoever. However, this technique makes it so all fire techniques utilized by the user are dense enough to behave almost as solid, being able to deliver impact damage in addition to the fire damage. However, this also means that they can be deflected as solid projectiles. Activating this ability is instant and does not consume any time whatsoever.

Description: After channeling chakra into the dark threads within his body, Kakuzu will release sharp needle-like threads from the bottom of his feet straight into the ground, keeping sure not to alert the opponent. Once he does this, he becomes capable of sensing the pressure on the ground above, hence allowing him to decipher whether or not his opponent is currently on the ground and where exactly they're positioned on the ground. These same threads can also be used to assault the opponent in many versatile ways, the two main ones being constricting the opponent's mobility by wrapping around them or piercing through the opponent's body with their jagged tips. Whilst using this technique, the user is firmly rooted in the ground but can choose to detach themselves from the threads at any time. This weakness of becoming rooted in place can be taken as an advantage against suction-based techniques or attacks which seek to knock the user off balance.

Description: Similar to Earth Grudge Fear: Final Shot, Kakuzu outstretches both of his arms to his sides and produces a mash of Dark Threads from both of them, from which his fire and lightning masks protrude, with the Katon mask emerging from his left hand whilst his Raiton mask emerges from the right. Simultaneously opening their mouths, the Fire Mask unleashes a devastating stream of flames capable of decimating a large area due to its expansive vertical and horizontal reach, whilst the Lightning mask emits a countless number of glaringly bright lightning bolts, capable of tearing through even the strongest of earth formations. As the masks release their respective elemental attacks, Kakuzu begins spinning on the spot to allow for the technique to cover all sides. The techniques actual use lies within its ability to enable the user to counter omnidirectional attacks without going on the defensive.

The threads which make up the golem are so tightly woven together to the extent their density surpasses that of most metallic structures, making him as durable if not more so as other elemental golems. Much like all threaded creatures, the golem is capable of extending and retracting his limbs, utilizing all dark threads techniques the user knows and has the innate ability of sewing up physical injuries dealt to him. The most unique feature of the threaded golem is his ability to integrate his body with Kakuzu's via dark threads, thus allowing him to perform all the techniques the user is capable as long as this connection is maintained. Whilst connected to one another, Kakuzu is unable to move or perform techniques as all of his efforts must be put into controlling the armoured golem. This ability isn't limited to merging with Kakuzu but can also take place with Kakuzu's individual masked creatures, allowing the golem to utilize the element(s) of the masks within his body. Unlike his masks, Kakuzu simply has to possess a physical connection with his golem via dark threads e.g. conjoining the golem's shoulder to dark threads released from his feet. His masks on the other hand, must physically be merged into the golem's body, effectively becoming a temporary addition to the gargantuan creature.

Description: After channeling his chakra throughout the dark threads within his body, Kakuzu will place his hands on the ground and feed a mass of dark threads directly into it. These same threads immediately surface beneath all opponents on the battlefield in the form of black trees composed entirely of spiked threads which begin growing around all of the affected opponent(s), coiling around their respective targets and tightening their grip over them the longer they're allowed to grow. Due to the spikes protruding from the trees, the opponent is immediately impaled in an inumerous amount of places and these spikes are forced deeper into their bodies as the tree's hold tightens every second. As soon as the trees surface they constrict the affected target(s) with a strong enough grip to prevent any sort of mobility. The trees themselves grow in a spiral-like motion, pushing their spikes deeper into the opponent by the second, making it a futile endeavor to escape the longer the technique is allowed to proceed. Soon after utilizing the technique, the opponent's body collapses under the insane compressive pressure and severe wounds dealt to them.

Description: After performing a single hanseal, Kakuzu will channel his chakra into a single threaded structure on the field and cause it to erupt in a violent outburst of hardened spiky dark threads as projectiles in all directions. The spikes explode out of the structure with devastating amount of force, allowing them to skewer through the bodies of any shinobi struck by them. The spikes themselves are thirty centimeters in length and ten centimeters in width, closely resembling the dimensions of a basic dagger. This jutsu can affect any structure within mid-range of the user and the explosion itself is also mid-ranged.

Description: After placing his hands on the ground and releasing his doton chakra into it, Kakuzu will cause a massive S-Rank cube shaped prison of earth to form around the opponent, the prison hovering a few meters above the ground once the opponent is trapped within its solid confines. The prison itself is a basic cube of earth with a small opening in the in the front of it (the user's perspective). Simultaneously as the cube forms, Kakuzu causes his fire and lightning masks to reach out from his back and mount themselves above each of his shoulders, both masks emitting a powerful S-Rank stream of their respective element directly into the small opening in the earthen cube. The devastating blast of rotating flames and glaringly bright lightning bolts instantly enter the opening in the cube of earth, incinerating everything and everyone inside. As the masks shoot their respective techniques, the user causes the cubical prison to rapidly rotate on the spot, dizzying the opponent(s) in the process. The rotation happens on the spot, so not to change the position of the opening, making sure the Fire/Lightning combination is still capable of entering it. The whole attack works by the same mechanism as a blast furnace, trapping the intended target(s) before super heating them to scorching temperatures. The unique difference to a blast furnace is the inclusion of lightning, adding a further element of lethality to the technique. Due to earth's natural weakness to lightning, the cube (almost instantly) violently erupts, sending magma-like chunks of rubble in every direction. The user themselves suffers due to the stress of performing the technique, becoming less co-coordinated and physically weakened. This translates to no handseals for two turns as well as no S-Rank and above Fire or Lightning techniques in the next turn.

Description: Kakuzu causes eight arms composed entirely of threads to erupt form his back. The threads are tightly weaved together into concrete structures giving the hits from them even more strength than ordinary blows due to their sheer weight and high density because of the threads being tightly packed together. This technique can be used for various purposes including directly attacking the opponent, restraining them, rappelling from one part of the terrain to another in quick succession and performing more advanced Taijutsu attacks due to the user now possessing ten arms instead of two. One other alternative use of the technique is its ability to be extended or retracted meaning the opponent can be captured by the user and then pulled towards them. Due to this extension ability, Kakuzu becomes capable of capturing aerial targets and forcing them downwards. The arms themselves can extend up to twenty meters.

Description: The user takes ¼ of their chakra and creates a clone constructed only of dark threads which has real form and substance. Due to be being constructed primarily of dark threads the clone has the ability to fly due to being weightless like Kakuzu's masks. Furthermore the clone doesn’t disperse against physical attacks as it will simply reshape, it must be completely destroyed and it can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. The real utility of this clone is that it can reintegrate back into the user’s body to break any A-Rank and lower Genjutsu due to the sudden disruption of chakra flow that occurs. Once it reintegrates, the remaining unused chakra in the clone is returned to the user. However if the clone is destroyed, the remaining chakra doesn’t return to the user and is lost completely. Whilst the clone is active, both the user and the clone are incapable of using Genjutsu as of result of the user's divided consciousness.

Description: This is Kakuzu's ultimate defense inspired by his signature technique Earth Release: Earth Spear. After channeling his doton chakra throughout the dark threads within his body, he causes them to become extremely tightly woven together, before hardening them to the extent their density surpasses that of even some metallic structures. This technique can harden the threads within a single limb or the entirety of the user's body, making this a very versatile technique. Whilst active, the affected body parts become capable of enduring powerful impact forces with little damage to the exterior. Due to this, the user can't be pierced with ordinary weapons e.g. swords, lances, spears, whilst the technique is active. However, the jutsu comes with the glaring downside of the user being unable to move the hardened body parts so long as the technique is active due to the affected body parts becoming insanely stiff, making full body hardening a last resort. The technique itself has no visible effects, allowing the user to deceive their opponent in various ways. An alternative use of the technique is supplementing the user's Taijutsu, as the technique gives hits much more strength than ordinary blows. This can be achieved through the user hardening their hand during a punch or their foot during a kick to slightly overcome the technique's weakness.

(Masuku Gurotesuku Shinsei) – Masked Grotesque Rebirth

Description: As a last resort, whilst either on the brink of death or severely wounded, Kakuzu will cause all of the masks within his body to erupt from his back and channels all of his remaining chakra into one the masks to cause it to reshape and transform into an exact replica of himself. The transformation makes it impossible to distinguish between the new body and the previous one as its even accurate to the finest of details. The affected mask is identical to him in every way in both shape and mind. This jutsu effectively transmits Kakuzu's consciousness to one of his masks, abandoning the previous body and the affected mask becoming the new host body. The elemental affinity of the transformed mask becomes Kakuzu's main heart and is no longer capable of leaving his body. Much like with Kakuzu's previous body, his masks are capable of entering and exiting the body at will and they now recognize the new host body as their owner. The new body is capable of performing every jutsu, technique, or maneuver the original body was capable of except the elemental techniques of the heart lost along with the original body. One benefit provided by the jutsu is, much like all of Kakuzu's masks, his new body retains its natural capability of flight, allowing him to partially compensate for the loss of his main heart. This jutsu is most akin to Mu's Splitting Technique as unlike clones, this body won't disperse but must be killed, the body can be considered the "real" version of Kakuzu and possess all of the chakra that was present in the main body at the time this jutsu was used. However, the technique leaves the user disoriented for a short period of time, preventing them from using handseals for two whole turns.

(Masuku Gurotesuku Shinsei) – Masked Grotesque Rebirth

Description: As a last resort, whilst either on the brink of death or severely wounded, Kakuzu will cause all of the masks within his body to erupt from his back and channels all of his remaining chakra into one the masks to cause it to reshape and transform into an exact replica of himself. The transformation makes it impossible to distinguish between the new body and the previous one as its even accurate to the finest of details. The affected mask is identical to him in every way in both shape and mind. This jutsu effectively transmits Kakuzu's consciousness to one of his masks, abandoning the previous body and the affected mask becoming the new host body. The elemental affinity of the transformed mask becomes Kakuzu's main heart and is no longer capable of leaving his body. Much like with Kakuzu's previous body, his masks are capable of entering and exiting the body at will and they now recognize the new host body as their owner. The new body is capable of performing every jutsu, technique, or maneuver the original body was capable of except the elemental techniques of the heart lost along with the original body. One benefit provided by the jutsu is, much like all of Kakuzu's masks, his new body retains its natural capability of flight, allowing him to partially compensate for the loss of his main heart. This jutsu is most akin to Mu's Splitting Technique as unlike clones, this body won't disperse but must be killed, the body can be considered the "real" version of Kakuzu and possess all of the chakra that was present in the main body at the time this jutsu was used. However, the technique leaves the user disoriented for a short period of time, preventing them from using handseals for two whole turns.

(Kuro Ito Chika No Jutsu) – Underground Dark Threads Technique

Description: After channeling chakra into the dark threads within his body, Kakuzu will release sharp needle-like threads from the bottom of his feet straight into the ground, making sure not to alert the opponent as this happens. These same threads can also be used to assault the opponent in many versatile ways, such as constricting their mobility by wrapping around them or piercing through them with their jagged tips. Whilst using this technique, the user is firmly rooted in the ground and so unable to move but can choose to detach themselves from the threads at any time. This weakness of becoming rooted in place can be become an advantage against suction-based techniques or attacks which seek to knock the user off balance.

Description: After channeling his raiton chakra throughout the dark threads within his body, Kakuzu will place his hands on the ground and feed a mass of electrically charged dark threads directly into it. These same threads immediately surface beneath all opponents on the battlefield in the form of raiton imbued black trees composed entirely of spiked threads which begin growing around all of the affected opponent(s), coiling around their respective targets and tightening their grip over them the longer they're allowed to grow. Due to the spikes protruding from the trees, the opponent is immediately impaled in an inumerous amount of places and these spikes are forced deeper into their bodies as the tree's hold tightens every second. As soon as the trees surface they constrict the affected target(s) with a strong enough grip to prevent any sort of mobility. The raiton chakra within the trees serves the simultaneous purposes of paralyzing the affected opponent(s) and preventing the use of most Earth-based defenses. The trees themselves grow in a spiral-like motion, pushing their spikes deeper into the opponent by the second, making it a futile endeavor to escape the longer the technique is allowed to proceed. Soon after utilizing the technique, the opponent's body collapses under the insane compressive pressure and severe wounds dealt to them.

Description: Kakuzu causes one of his masks to reach out from his back and mount itself above his shoulder before exhaling a powerful A-Rank blast of its respective element towards the opponent. Though a basic technique, this jutsu can be used simultaneously with one of Kakuzu's own techniques to create an endless array of elemental combinations. Alternatively, this jutsu can be used when Kakuzu himself is immobilized by an electrical current, a constricting substance, a paralyzing genjutsu and etc.
Fire Mask
If used, the fire mask can release either a devastating torrent of spherical fireballs or a potent stream of flames.
Wind Mask
If used, the wind mask can release either a forceful blast of wind similar to Wind Release: Pressure Damage or a constant stream of wind which can greatly augment the speed and force at which a water technique will travel with.
Lightning Mask
If used, the lightning mask can release either a single spear of lightning similar to Lightning Release: False Darkness or a devastating wave of lightning.
Water Mask
If used, the water can release either a pressurized blast of water or a constant stream capable of creating a sizable water source.

Description: Instead of performing an elemental jutsu from his own mouth, Kakuzu will cause one of his masks to reach out from his back, mount itself above his shoulder and perform the technique on his behalf. Though a very basic technique, this jutsu allows for fluid combination attacks as along with his mask, Kakuzu is capable of performing his own technique. Alternatively, this jutsu can be used to perform techniques when user is immobilized by an electrical current, a constricting substance, a paralyzing genjutsu and etc. This technique doesn't add any damage nor does it add any range to any jutsu used in conjunction with it.

Description: Kakuzu channels his raiton chakra through the dark threads within his body and releases it all at once, to cause countless electrified spikes (which are ten meters in length) to extend from every point on his body (except his head). The spikes themselves resemble basic spears in both shape and width and the end result makes the user look like they’re coated in an armour of raiton-infused spikes. Anyone hit by this technique is skewered through their body and undergoes severe full body paralysis which lasts for two turns. After release, the spikes re-enter the user's body and the holes created in the user's body by the technique are sewn up.

(Kuro Ito Soshi Senjigusuri) – Dark Threads Elemental Infusion

Description: Kakuzu will imbue one of the five basic elemental chakras into all of his dark threads related jutsu (for the next five turns) to cause them to take on a specific set of properties. If the user channels their raiton chakra into the threads, their penetrative abilities will heightened and the threads themselves will be electrified, giving them paralyzing capabilities. If the user channels their suiton chakra into the threads, they will become coated in a thick layer of adhesive water (similar to Water Release: Starch Syrup Capture Field), giving them adhesive properties and the ability to stick to people/objects. They will also become extremely resistant to burning. If the user channels their doton chakra into the threads, they will take on a pitch-black metallic sheen and be hardened to the extent they can clash with swords and endure powerful impact forces. If the user channels their fuuton chakra into the threads, their cutting capabilities will be enhanced and electrical currents will be impossible to conduct along them. If the user channels their katon chakra into the threads, they will be ignited, however shortly after ignition the threads are destroyed in the process, leaving a raging fire in its place. The jutsu itself doesn't add any damage or range to techniques used in conjunction with it. It simply serves the purpose of infusing the dark threads with elemental chakra to cause the technique to become an elemental jutsu of the same rank e.g. a B-Rank dark threads jutsu infused with doton chakra will become a B-Rank doton jutsu. Elemental infusions via this method will respect all elemental strengths and weaknesses of the infused element.
