Hinata does not par with Sakura in development. Let's not fool ourselves. What's Hinata got...pain arc war arc... i got nothin.

It's whatever though.

P.S pairings are a perk to this manga better enjoy it for it's purpose. Shonen.

Hinata jumped in to save Naruto from Pain and got slammed around like a rag doll and still tried to save him and got stabbed for her efforts.

But this event acted as a catalyst for Naruto defeating Pain.

In the manga, Hinata got one-shotted very easily, it's just very short. It's in the anime that she looked heroic, they extended the scene.

Hinata's intention wasn't to save Naruto because she knew she wouldn't stand a chance. She just selfishly wanted to confess her feelings for Naruto, that's it.

If it wasn't for Minato's fail-safe, Naruto would be no more actually. Hinata didn't really save him, it's all coincidence.

Sakura was a medic didn't have Byakugan to see what happen all the time. Same as the other villagers.

Well Hinata definitely has better qualities in that area.
Also, SasuHina happening would be Kishi's biggest asspull ever. I think many fans would try to lynch him if he did that.
Not me :3 but if it does happen imagine the rustled jimmies!!XD
btw I like sxh but I don't really care if it happens or not

I'm well aware of what happened in manga and that's why I didn't use the anime rendition of the events.

But regardless, Hinata seemingly dying in front of Naruto caused Kurama to take control and thus activating the fail-safe and which lead to Pain's defeat.

So the point stands that Hinata was the catalyst.

lol don't compare the two, Hinata is no where near the level of importance as Sakura.

Yeah, maybe that's a sign that they are fated to end up with each other, I don't know.

Nevertheless, Naruto admitted that Hinata had saved him when he was saving her from Zetsus clones.

Which illustrates my point and draws parallels to Sakura doing roughly the same thing against Madara.

One is useful and the other is useless.

They are both poorly written characters, although I think hinata's is worse. However, Sakura is a bigger disappointment given the fact that she's a main character.
