Yes this is still asspull. For the second time Kishi has had Sakura land a punch on a character who has omnidirectional field of vision (Kaguya's byakugan and sharirinnegan and now Shin with eyes on his head and eyes on his arm) with a glorified suckerpunch.

This dude seems to be an orginal Shin, and Shin (child) are mere clones or him, which share his abilities.
No wonder Sakura is giving his organs to Shin to save his life.

He had no problem against a rinnegan user though. And he has the share vision of Shin and the other little thingys who seemed to be around.
