I don't really know. Madara did say, "Hashirama is the only one that could stop him." I am guessing that if we put an Edo Hashirama vs Edo Madara. Hashirama would somehow win the battle. Although, Madara has the Rinnegan, Mokuton, and Senju DNA. If he was alive i would still say, Rinnegan Madara wins by default. EMS Madara on the other hand i can see him being defeated by Hashirama. Kishimoto killed Hashirama too quick in Part I. I hope he brings him or something cool happens in the next few chapters.

do people really think that this is debatable? as long as madaras full power remains as the perfect susano that hashirama beat then hashirama will always be able to beat madara. hashirama>the full power of madara(perfect susano). kishi has hinted multiple times that hashirama could beat "current" madara(as if theres any difference as his full power is still the same as when he was alive).
