Gear four in the chapter b4 this was stated to have battled against Doffy for 20 min or something like tht

The fact tht Doffy can still move and walk perfectly fine after all 20 min orb gear 4 (and organs ripped apart) shows that Doffy can tank it with no problems (yes he will take damage but again unclear how much)

.. ppl hop on bandwagon of a different thing every new chapter now if Sabo and Doffy fight

It b an injured Doffy vs healthy sabo everyone thinks sab o is stronger then Doffy by a slight margin we will c but keep in mind sabo has clear advantage..


Gear 4 is amazing and it putsb luffy on fighting terms with some top tiers like Doffy but the top tiers should all b able to take a beating or tank attacks and Doffy proved tht he could no prob for 20 min

Doflamingo's durability is clearly ridiculous, even if he couldn't get too many hits on Luffy in G4. I'm inclined to believe that he's still far superior to Luffy, especially since it took a fight with Law, then a fight with Luffy and Law, then a fight with G4 Luffy for Luffy to even start getting the upper hand on him. Even then, he's not down - he's probably about to destroy Gatz's squad.

Doffy said Luffy has taken quite a bit of damage. Bellamy was hitting Luffy nonstop from Hajrudin vs Machvise to Zoro vs Pica.

It's just that the time limit is what's holding him back. I believe I speak for everybody when I say if Luffy smashed into Mingo at full force, it would have been GG.

I definitely agree with the OP besides,when Luffy gets G4 back,it won't be as easy as he thinks. Doffy would have already Thought of ways to Dodge and attack G4 by then. One can already see he has been studying luffy while getting beat and we all know How cunny doffy is. It's Why I feel we will see the birth of G5

Doesn't change the fact that you use plot as an excuse. Luffy was literally 1 second away from finishing off Doflamingo and then G4 expired. That happening at one second before Luffy was about to land a hit is obviously a cliché plot device.

its called lazy writing cuz doffy just won through attrition. in an end of the arc fight no one wants to see nakama power over and over again instead we get 20 min of no fight shown instead of showing what dofla can do. the guy is hyped he stopped jozu and was in a standoff with kuzan so him beating luffy like this is not as fun. an all out battle would have been better. nakama moments are already repetitive in this series. instead he wins becuz of luffy being stupid, how many times have we seen luffy run out of his power at important moments a lot, and this time was another one its too predictable, oda could have made doffy use some hax awakening move but no.

Same thing happened here, gear 4 luffy is clearly a class apart in both strength and speed to mingo, but has a very short time-limit as a drawback.

I mean i could be a little bias because im a huge Mingo fan. but it doesnt change the fact that he still came out on top and walked it off. He's a beast and everyone forgot it during the G4 Hype. G4 is really strong dont get me wrong but. 10 mins of nothing is a huge neg especially if doflamingo could walk off G4. 1v1 Mingo had it and has it in the bag. RANT OVER :3
