The village let us stay in a teahouse, free of charge. His look was of melancholy. Not one word flew out of his mouth for once. They were caged, locked away in the caverns of sadness, his heart. “Cheer up. Have some tea, hero”
“Hero? What is a hero who can’t even save one person. Isn’t a hero supposed to save people?”
“You saved an entire village…You saved me”
“What about Yagura? That man, Madara, released his biju, killing him. I couldn’t save him! He wasn’t a bad kage, that man controlled him”
“That’s just one person”
“One innocent person is just as important as a million! Plus, only some people saw the fight. Most of the village, and the rest of the country hate me!”
“They hate us. I’m going to put you in a place where you’re safe, with your brother. I’m sorry for getting you involved”
“I got myself involved. Don’t worry about me. We’ll bring my brother along”
“Well, I’ve already sealed…the body into the scroll. We need to go to Fuma, the guy who wanted this in the first place”

We slept under the velvety, black, starry sky. We had entered the village as honorable hunters and left as fugitives. Poor kid. Well, I guess that’s the end of my little journal. If the fuzz finds this, I’m a goner. Whoever finds this, don’t tell.

“Why? How could you say such a thing?” the Water Daimyo astonishingly answered.
“Samehada had a master, one of the great Seven Swordsmen! That man died, and Kisame has it now! The greatest of all the swords, arguably! Isn’t that suspicious?” The other advisors gasped.
“Then whom would you suggest?”
“The honorable Terumi Mei”
“All in favor of Kisame,” three hands rose, “All in favor of Mei” the other five raised their hands. “Fine. Terumi Mei is the new Mizukage”

A small barn sat on a grassy field in the Tea Country. Inside Hagane and Kodomo sat, hiding. Ninjas from the Land of Fire were searching the countryside for the two fugitives. Kodomo couldn’t hold his cough in anymore and coughed. Right when the soldiers were about to leave, they sprinted towards the barn and found… haystacks. Hagane thought, ‘Saved’
The men left, and their captain said, “Well, let’s burn this barn down anyway. Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu”
‘Shit!’ “Ko, let’s go!” Hagane whispered.
“I know how to get out!” They jumped through the back window as the flames engulfed the barn. “Safe and-”
“Sound? Well, I don’t know about that, but you made a lot of it,” the captain finished, “Surrender or else”
“Or else what?” Hagane replied.
“We have authorization to kill you. Do you really think a kid and one man can beat twelve elite ninja from Konoha?”
“Konoha? Tell me, how did my father, Hatake Sakumo, die?” Ko inquired.
“Ah, the White Fang’s son, now a traitor to the world. He committed suicide from the dishonor of failing his mission to save his comrades”
“Dishonor? That is not dishonor! What about my brother?”
“Enough! Surrender!”
“Hagane and I will depart. Give Konoha this message: Hatake Sakumo, the White Fang, has more honor than any of them combined! Summoning Jutsu!”
“Fireball Jutsu!” all twelve men performed.
A black salamander appeared, and it’s grabbed the pair into its mouth. Hagane yelled, “What the hell?”

Kisame sat on a ledge in the outskirts of the Hidden Mist Village with the advisor who called him out dead next to him. “Always making trouble. Now, let Samehada devour you and your chakra. Plus, my sharks have informed me on the two of them went to. The Salamander Swamps, eh?”
