StarWars: Similarities between Anakin and ITACHI. Let me know your thoughts please 
There was born a boy genius to one of the head households of the Uchiha clan, his name is Itachi. He was denied an innocent joyful childhood because of the deaths of his friends and clansmen. He grew up on many stories. These were mostly on the 9-Tailed Fox, a natural disaster that only appeared during times of great human strife and malice, and the only person able to control this demon and former leader of the Uchiha Clan, Madara.
(Similar to Anakin growing up as a slave working in a chop-shop, and hearing stories of the world outside his planet)
Through his childhood stories, Itachi knew of the sharringan at an early age. He also knew that the power Madara possessed was able to control the 9-Tails. Itachi trained himself very hard with the goal of protecting the village, and all those he cared about. There was a lot he needed to learn. He quickly grasped difficult techniques, and was seen as a genius. He and entered the academy at a very early age. He was different than the "norm." Itachi was placed into a team of 3, with a sensei.
(Anakin entered the academy at a later age. He had the potential to be a great jedi because of the medaclorians, and had a jedi master).
Itachi continued to master jutsus, and learn from his sensai. Eventually he learned that his sharringan still had the potential for more power. This power being the MS, and that this was how Madara controlled the 9-Tails. However, he learned of the "darkside" to obtaining it. He had to kill the person most important to him. Itachi knew that he could never do that, and thus pushed himself to get more powerful without the technique.
(Anakin learned of the darkside, its requirement of using hate to unlock its power, and how it makes a person evil. Things he did not want to be.)
Itachi and his team trained hard, and completed every one of their missions successfully. Eventually, him and the other guy member became best friends. Itachi's relationship with the girl member of their squad began to grow into something more than friendship, a blossoming romance. Itachi's father stressed the importance of his fate as future leader of the Uchiha Clan, and to stay committed and being responsible. His father noticed that Itachi was distant, but was unsure why. It was because he was interested in pursuing love, not war.
(Anakin had a love that he persued it in secret, and his master ObiWon noticed Anakin becoming distant, and letting his emotions get the best of him)
Itachi graduated and became the youngest member and ANBU according to his father's wishes. Everyone in the village was taking notice of this genius, including a person lurking in the shadows desiring to be leader, Madara. Now as member of ANBU, Itachi had to go on more secret missions. He was not able to tell anyone what they were, including his father and more importantly, his girlfriend. Both his father and the village had motivations to use Itachi as a "double-agent." All of these events were really upsetting Itachi. He was being forced into unwanted situations. Madara saw this happening, and found his opening to come in and manipulate things to get what he wants.
(Anakin grew stronger, at the same time becoming distant to his love. The Jedi Council and The Emperor both were using Anakin as a SPY. The Emperor saw the same thing happening to Anakin, and began manipulating him)
Itachi was beginning to see how his desire to become strong quickly was making him completely unhappy. The last thing he wanted was to have the same thing happen to his younger brother. He wanted Sasuke to have a fun normal childhood.
Itachi began to notice someone unfamiliar lurking in the shadows, following him. Madara purposely made himself more exposed, by taking more interest in Itachi. Its hard to spy on a ninja, especially someone with sharringan. Itachi approached Madara, to ask what he wanted, and Madara revealed himself as being Tobi. A rouge ninja and sharringan user. He said that Madara was alive, and he knows of a way to unlock the MS without the darkside. Itachi always wanted to have the power to save the ones he cared about, and make sure the 9-Tails couldn't hurt the village again, so he was openly receptive. Madara manipulated Itachi further by saying that it was the 1st Hokage who controlled the Demons, and released them as his tool of war. This bothered Itachi, and was unsure of who to believe. He was going through inner turmoil, because of his loyalties and inabilty to spend time with his girlfriend.
(Anakin wanted the power to save his love from death. He listened to the Emporer's statements about being able to control death, and to give him power. Afterall, did he seem like a evil person to Anakin. He grew up respecting the guy. Anakin was uncomfortable acting as a spy, and didn't like being in that situation).
Madara slowly poisoned Itachi's mind, and made him think that his girlfriend and his best friend were cheating on him. One night, Itachi's best friend and girlfriend went for a walk, so that she could vent to him about how Itachi didn't seem himself, and that she was worried for their relationship. Madara took the initiative to tell Itachi of this walk, and that it was for romantic reasons. His girlfriend was upset, and his best friends consoled her with an embrase. It was a rainy night, and it hid her tears. Itachi saw the embrace, and didn't confront them together, nor saw the tears. He waited until they separated to confront his best friend. He was already very upset about his life, and with all the backstabbing going on, he was unwilling to listen, and killed him in jealousy, throwing him into the raging waters and wash away the evidence. Continuing his rage, he went after his girlfriend, and did the same to her...
(Anakin didn't know who to believe, the Jedi or the Emperor. The Emperor sent him on missions throughout the galaxy to keep him away from her. Anakin thought that his love was betraying him, and killed her, well ultimately in the end it was because of him)
Itachi now has the MS, and Madara reveals himself to him. Madara convinces him that his Clan was responsible for all of this, and they work together to kill them all, to start the clan anew. Only after leaving the village, did he realize the truth of what happened. Ever since the moment he realized the truth, he began to plot and plan on how to set things straight and make amends. Itachi knew that he would have to die for everything to be made right. In the meantime, he would have to play the game as a "badguy" in order to make sure that he was "in the know" of all the plans on Akatsuki, IE Madara's gang. #1 though was to keep Madara away from his brother, to prevent him from being corrupted like himself.
