i would like it if they strayed away from the known characters and introduce new ones. maybe like a thousand years before the original story line. so we can see an all out battle between the jedi and sith.

Episode VII still carries on the original story only they're older (obviously). i also seen that one of Han and Leia's children become a sith. maybe these new movies will show a battle between cousins. Ben Skywalker and Jacen Solo AKA Darth Caedus. the new movies will probably revolve around the newer skywalker generation

I always thought Luke was gonna turn bad. Cause he has every right to do so. In the end he chose what is right in his eyes and even that. He still has some dark side in him. Han Solo and Luke are still alive and I believe Luke will be the new Sith.

And about starwars. Yeah I believe what you say. It's just...a sense of disappointment.

with star wars, you can go an infinite number of ways and direction. you can even go 50,000 years to the revival of the sith.

Jacen Solo fights his sister Jaina,and loses. I hope they alter it a bit because the way that storyline was written had flaws, like Jaina wanting to know how to defeat her brother, by going to someone who has never fought a Jedi aka Boba Fett, instead of her own uncle Luke. But that series was written by a woman who hates everything about Star Wars except Mandolorians and Boba Fett, so she just found a way to squeeze him in somehow.

Let me give you an insight about what is likely to happen.(as i used to read many of the books). The movies could be about 3 different things, based on the fact, that they seem like they are gonna use the original cast, and try to make it like realtime(30-40 years in the future)

There are 2 things that would fall in that catergory.

1 There is this alien race, that comes from far away outside the galaxy, and are not capable of being sensed with the force. Essentially they are forceless. They grow all of their technology, (like their starships are alive). This is where the younger brother of jacen and jaina(the firstborn twins) dies in this war. His name was anakin solo.

2 What you mentioned, was where jacen goes darkside. He does it in a slow manner, and essentially decieves everybody, like palpatine did. He also has a kid born out of wedlock. (what you dont know, is he is going evil, to save the galaxy....he had a vision wherethe galaxy would be destroyed, and then had a vision where the galaxy could be saved if he went evil.)


and lastly
Lucas' script he wrote for the 3rd part of his trilogy of trilogys. It doesnt have to be based off the books that other writers did at all, as they are "non canon" until they are proven to be fully canon.



Essentially, they are free to do whatever they want.



(ps, luke had a timeperiod, where he did go fully darkside. He was barely saved by leia....and i mean barely.)

i'd like to see Luke Skywalker die. maybe one of the skywalker children turn to the darkside. and then kills luke. fights one of the other skywalkers then flees in defeat. end of Episode VII. Episode VIII the skywalker turned sith searches the galaxy for recruits. looking for people who are strong with the force and gathers up a group to exact revenge

I too have read many of the books and know this, but the thing about your last statement is that if Lucas goes with the script he originally was going to do,it would have been set in the time period just after the last movie of the originals and obviously they aren't doing that, so thats not happening. Also, Timothy Zahns Thrawn Series has already been canonized by Lucas years ago, so it would be a real **** move of him to say that they are going to oveerwrite his work, of which much of the expanded universe grew from, that being Zahn's trilogy.
