Beerus and Buu are no where near each other in power. His father warned freiza because they were just weaker than either Beerus or Buu. Gohan may not have trained, but it still doesn't change the fact that both he and Goku who was arguably stronger than Gohan at the time, got punked completely by a not even serious Beerus.
How is SS4 Goku gonna beat Beerus or SSG when he uses NORMAL KI? In the DBZ verse gods like beerus can't be hurt by anything EXCEPT GODLY KI, which no form of SS4 Goku has wither fused or not. The movie made by Toriyama plainly states this. Heck Goku flat out said in the movie itself that fusion won't be enough to beat him.
Beerus has been canonically proven to be a casual galaxy buster. SS4 never showed that kind of potential. Plus GT is non cannon and has nothing to do with the main story of DBZ. So unless SS4 shows up in the next upcoming movies, it remains an inferior form to SSG in terms of power.
I'm not downing SS4, but unless he somehow gains godly ki, no amount of big bang kamehamaha's are gonna hurt beerus or ssg.
