SRA Gaara VS Part 1 Kakashi

there's 0 proof that his body adapted, since after he got bumrushed by slow kimmi, kimmi doesn't change his position. He immediately tries his strongest spear(doesn't move for that) then goes bone forest. nor is that the point. The point being that a slower kimmi got through him. Whether or not he later gets faster doesn't change him being slower when said bum rush takes place. And this is assuming he does actually get faster, which to the best of my knowledge he did not.


raikiri is blasting through the way kimmi did. But unlike kimmi who's slower in that scan, kakashi has sharingan and first gate to assist and speed up his movements.

quite the opposite. Gaara has no idea that he's underground, since hiding like mole doesn't leave a hole. Compiled with the fact that it gives the user complete control over the sand immediately around them one can even argue that it gives the user a free pass out of any sand burial technique but that's an argument for another time.

Good points. May be i am being biased but i just don't see gaara failing to react to part 1 kakashi. What about automatic sand? And as for hiding like a mole, i am again not convinced, since kakashi will have to create a diversion first to hide. And that depends on chance and strategy. Which may go horribly wrong for him. You are assuming he will successfully hide, what if he doesn't? Gaara may even be able to detect him by creating sand underground.

Good points. May be i am being biased but i just don't see gaara failing to react to part 1 kakashi.

garra couldn't react to weightless lee, and evey if we assume he can react past that threshold it still a speed kakashi achieved in his in his teenage years when he first made chidori. Part 1 kakashi is far faster than that. Then there's first gate multiplying his speed by a factor of 5, and sharingan to see through the attacks, it shouldn't be a question whether or not kakashi out speeds him and his sand. It's a fact.

@bold, well no shit, but seeing as how kakashi pulled one over on sasuke, itachi, and kisame, there's nothing leading me to believe he can't do the same to gaara. Especially since sand tsunami cuts off los anyways.

Gaara didn't get the ability to detect things with his sand until the war. If he did have that ability Bone desert wouldn't have caught him by surprise, deidara's bombs wouldn't have caught him by surprise etc etc.

Whats gaara's defense to genjutsu? He doesn't know sharingan has that ability, He doesn't know kakashi has chidori, or earth techs or anything for that matter. Hes never seen kakashi fight. Where as kakashi saw his sand has a rough estimate of how fast it is, formulated plans to get around said sand, seen his plans in action via proxy by sasuke, seen how gates gets around sand via proxy by lee, Seen damn near all of garra's arsenal, bar sand tsunami. and has decades more experience.

TBH this is a mid diff win and that's being generous.

Actually we saw lee animated moving at extreme speeds. It's kinda hard to picture anyone else moving like that. That's probably why i can't picture him moving at those speeds. Even sasuke who was said to have same speed as weightless lee wasn't shown to be moving like lee so i guess you are right. If kakashi really is that fast then he'd win. But kimi shouldn't have been much slower than kakashi though. Since he was strongest experiment of orochimaru and sasuke failed to match lower versions. But for kakashi to win this match up, kimi will have to be in the same tier as other four from sound. A bit stronger obviously but in same tier.
