I found myself in spring
sprung by the shades of autumn

As innuendos that Nature sang
Pollination whistled through drafts laid upon them

Seeds flurried through breeze, not one more special than the other
Each beautifully unique, Reinvented impressions of their mother

Though seldom, one would bloom and briefly catch my peripheral
Saturated with life force, to many a greedy eye, Irresistible

Inspiration, idea, she vibrantly charged my essence
As if the world was a painter's palette for a split second

The delicate flower played in peace, and soundly
But couldn't handle the strength of my coarse hands which reaped from bounty

The Euphoria of it's scent and gloss woke my hibernation
Such wisdom imparted to me, was a self realization

Though the colors they exhibit won't last forever, as winter is inevitable
The wisdom a beautiful flower will share is plentiful

At time's I was blinded by emotion, upon sight of their picked petals depreciation
I've learned now to watch, and let them be out of my deep appreciation
