People continue to overpower Obito. If he is as strong as people make him out to be, why create akatsuki? Why not just capture all of the biiju on his own? Probably because he couldn't?

Obito did not like Itachi. He even stayed away from Konoha and from Sasuke while Itachi was alive. If Obito was as strong as people make him out to be, why didn't he try to kill Itachi? Probably because he couldn't?

Obito was shown to be a little nervous and weary of Kabuto. He even seemed nervous when Kabuto revealed Edo-Tensei to him. He even went as far as to ask how to defeat it. Why? Because he didn't trust Kabuto. Fair enough. But... If Obito was as strong as people made him out to be, he wouldn't have been nervous of Kabuto.

I know that Obito fanboys are going to say "Well, he was young and inexperienced..." Do you really think he could take Minato now? Minato has FTG and his Bijuu Mode, with these two things alone, Minato's speed is a hell of a lot better than Naruto's now, he gets a strength increase, defense increase, etc.

Kakashi lost to Itachi, he lost to Nagato, etc. Look at Obito and Kakashi right now. Their handicap (Kamui) is no longer an issue anymore. Since they aren't using Kamui, they are just fighting with everything they have. THEY ARE EQUAL! People need to stop overpowering Obito. He is only strong because of Kamui. As you can see, without it, he is not better than Naruto, Sasuke, Itachi, Nagato, Minato, Hashirama, etc, etc, etc. Without Kamui, do you think that Obito could defeat Nagato's Paths? Without Kamuing his way out of situations, do you think he would be any match for Itachi? Without his Kamui, he is put down on the same level as Kakashi. That's it. Simple as that.

Take away Kurama from Naruto and what does he have? Take away Minato's knives, and what dooes he have? Take away Nagato's paths and what does he have? Take away Hashi's mokuton, and what does he have?

He's just saying Kakashi and Obito, based on their experiences and what the manga has shown are likely to be equal because they're in the Kamui space.

That isn't being a fanboy. He was just giving examples of why he may be cautious and how the Kamui we thought to be overpowered can be exploited; not trying to say that Obito WOULD lose to those people.

EDIT: But If I were to be technical, Kishi is just pulling something out of his ass that us Naruto fans can relate to so he can quickly get Naruto over with and produce something else.

Kakashi died once already, I would not be surprised if he died during this war for good. Remember that what made Obito so strong was no one knowing the limits of his ability, but now everyone knows. Kakashi also knows everything about both his eyes and the limits of his dna. Gotta remember that knowledge is power, and Kakashi can utilize over a thousand different Jutsu's.

No plot no jutsu here. you stated some of the reasons yourself. Put it in perspective. When obito was fighting team naruto he was controlling the jin and his battle strength waa greater. Its him alone now and no doubt hes low on chakra, as is kakashi. Under these circumstances kakashi has a shot at winning alone

You people overrate Obito to much and underate Kakashi. Obito controlling the six Jinchuriki was only possible because on Kabuto, it was Kabuto's jutsu that ressurected them. Without Kamui Obito is not as great, all he does is use Kamui and he's too reliant on it.

Kakashi is one of the most skilled Shinobi and smartest in NV. If you take away Obitos intangibility then Kakashican take Obito. Kakashi is faster, smarter and skilled. And no one knows what Obitos Rinnegan abilities Re or if he can even use them.
