This caused the majority of us to believe that the second picture was Naruto's Six Paths Sage Mode when we read the Fourth Data book. In the incipient, I presumed that the first image depicted Naruto's new permanent standard form, which was contradicted by a later chapter. But, the recent releases of The Last: Naruto the Movie, "Naruto Gaiden," and the trailers for the upcoming Boruto: Naruto the Movie has lead to confusion.

In this thread, I will attempt to elucidate the matter of Naruto's Six Paths Sage Mode.​

Six Paths Sage Mode has been stated to be a heightened form of Sage Mode and the databook referenced an image of Naruto kicking a Truth-Seeking Ball while simply possessing cross pupils.

Difference: Lack of pigmentation around eyes while in form.
In "The Last: Naruto the Movie" he utilizes Tailed Beast Sage Mode but appears to still possess the ability to fly and can touch Toneri's Truth-Seeking Balls.

In "Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring" as well as the recent trailer of Boruto: Naruto the Movie, he activated a form that appeared to be Kurama Sage Mode but he did not possess the pigmentation around his eyes. When Naruto utilized the Six Paths Sage Mode cloak, his skin did not glow and his eyes lacked pigmentation once more. It was quite similar to Madara's Ten-Tails jinchuuriki form.
Therefore, Naruto does still possess Six Paths Sage Mode albeit he does not form Truth-Seeking Balls and his skin does not glow.

The new definition of a Six Paths Sage Mode is the first image shown, along with the ability to utilize the Tailed Beasts' abilities.

I thought the Rikudo mode was more of the black/grey and white coloring (like Obito & Madara was.. sort of) not the yellow flash we see in the second pic. The second pic seem to be 9 tails Rikudo mode and not just Rikudo. That's why i think there is a misunderstanding of his Rikudo mode and his 9 tails sage mode
