The finale was close ended, all questions were answered.

The scenes with Elliot & Gretchen was so dark and incredible, I expected them to get confronted but not in this way, it got me to a point where I believed "Wow, he's really gonna kill them" then I didn't know what to think when the "infra red" lasers were revealed. it was a great scare tactic in my opinion.

I knew Walt would confront Lydia in some form or fashion, I just didn't think it would be so up close and personal. Him using the Ricen on her was obvious, I predicted he would in another thread. Since the Grey Matter interview he saw revealed that the Blue was in Europe he knew she had a hand in it, so inevitably she had to go.

Jesse not killing Walt: Walt gave Jesse the opportunity to make his own choice unlike previous encounters where Walt made him do what he says. One of the conversations they had included Jesse expressing to Walt that he will never do anything he says (After he made him kill Gale) so it only makes sense that when Walt asks Jesse to kill him, he chooses not to, exercising his free will after being enslaved.

Skylar won't go to jail for obvious reasons, the phone call Walt made when he "kidnapped" Holly made everyone but Walt blameless, The rest is tied up rather cleverly with Walt providing the coordinates of Hank & Gomez's burial site in order to make a deal with the DEA.

It was a great ending in my humble opinion, what else could you expect really?

What did you guys think? I love this show, loved the ending, love the writing & Directing.

Please let me know if you think Vince could have done better and how.

PS: Marie said "Walt thinks he's some criminal master mind" proved her wrong.

My friend, you have been missing out on an incredible TV series. :/
lol that goes without saying. I agree with the OP. Great series, great ending. Im still in disbelief that it's actually over now. One part of me wanted a different ending, but another part of me liked the ending as it is. Great series nevertheless. It will be remembered for a long time. Glorious

Man, the feels. I was so happy Jesse got out alive, I actually screamed "bloody revenge" when the Nazi and Todd were killed. I watched the finale and the rerun of it, Walt was so human yet so batman & the joker all at the same time. I am also in Disbelief, now all I have is The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Bates Motel, Mad Men & American Horror Story as far as TV Series go.

I can understand that perspective. How would you have liked it to end? If I may ask (there were many possibilities)
I think many people were expecting Jesse or Skyler to kill Walt but it didn't happen , instead Walt dies technically by accident , i didn't like that either ....why not make him kill himself if you are not having someone kill him . I also don't get how Walt got the ricen in ? ......i had a feeling that was gonna happen & i get that , but how he got it in there doesn't make sense , he did it to easy .

The episode before that things were left with Walt being pissed off & maybe getting some sort of revenge , none of that happened , all the people that did him wrong didn't pay for their mistakes , specially Skyler , she needed to go to jail too .

I don't know , i just think they took the easy way out IMO.

i watched but missed a lot, but regardless still liked the ending. I was confused how walt died, like he wasn't even armed and da cops aint even tell him "freeze" or "get on the floor" they just str8 blasted him. :/ but still liked it one of the better endings to a T.V series.

I don't think there were many people who expected Skylar to kill Walt, I can agree with Jesse being the one to kill him. Walt didn't die by accident, he was going to die either way, he died saving Jesse. Also he gave Jesse the choice to kill him but Jesse wasn't gonna do Walt's dirty work for him anymore. He was gonna die there no matter what.

As for the Ricen, as you saw Walt was in the meeting place before Lydia & Todd were seated. How he got the Ricen into the Stevia packet was not shown because it didn't need to be shown, Walt & Lydia used to meet in the same restaurant and were always seated in the same place so all he had to do was put the Ricen filled Stevia packet at the table since she always put Stevia in her tea.

Skylar? lol pay for what? Walt is the bad guy and even so Walt wanted no harm coming to his family, he wanted them blameless.

Walt got his Revenge on the Schwartz for saying he had nothing to do with the company; he basically says it "Whatever happens to me tomorrow" "Your chance to make it right" "A man you knew quite well" by them giving the Whites the 9 million it's bassically saying Walt had a lot more to do with the success of the company than they lead people to believe in the Charlie Rose interview.

Walt got his Revenge on Jack and the Nazi's for Killing Hank. Walt didn't want Hank dead, they were family & if you look at hanks reaction when he confronts Walt you can see it in his face that he feels betrayed, so that tells you that he was close to Walter. Walter got his revenge for Jesse being enslaved as a cook as well.

Jesse got his revenge on Walt, as I said before; He wasn't doing Walt's dirty work anymore, he chose to be free after being enslaved he went with free will rather than just kill the guy who used to boss me around just because he's telling me to.

Jesse got his Revenge on Todd...I loved it sweet, bloody vengeance.

everyone who got what they deserved at the end.

I don't understand what you mean by "Easy way out" I feel like the easy way out would have been for Walt to have killed the Nazis, Kill Jesse, Stayed alive and continue his life as the drug king pin leaving and open ending.

You'll suggest you watch the episode in it's entirety, fill in the blanks.
