So I just recently completed Assassin's Creed IV (technically it's the 6th installment, but they aren't good at counting at Ubisoft) and I felt like the whole Assassin's Creed story is kinda going a little crazy with this whole First Civilization nonsense.
Now it's a cool concept and I think if done correctly it could actually be good, but I just feel like they're trying to stretch it out. Now if you've played through the story (Remember there are major spoilers in here, just incase you ignored the warning) you'll know that in the real world the Sage throughout history was actually the lover of Juno, the crazy cyber chick Desmond freed in Assassin's Creed 3. He's been constantly reborn throughout history through some crazy future technology/space magic that Juno created. And the guy that blackmailed your character in Assassin's Creed 4 was the modern incarnation of the Sage.
The story of Assassin's Creed is kinda turning more to a 80,000 year old love story that you're messing up. And then at the end of the main story, the Sage is killed by security. The End. Why was that important? Why did that matter in the slightest? Who were you being in the modern day? Will they ever be done with Assassin's Creed?
Your thoughts, post them below.
