Anyone stop to think that even if he DID have a Byakugan... It doesn't require a whole.. It could just see through the mask..

That's another reason why. I think this dudes face could be mutated like Danzo's arm. I see your point on the mask resembling the two eyes combined but...I just think it's weird that there are three (I forget the proper term- dojutsu?)eye techniques and three holes in his mask. kishi can't just leave the byakugan behind like that.

Agreed, it was built up to be comparable to the sharingan, and I believe it should be.. and it's just been left in the dust. Same thing with Neji: Great character, build him up to be a genius ninja with massive potential... and then totally dropped him.
