About a girl that is 16 but still in Junior High. Living with an abusive mother. Her father got her pregnant twice(her first child a girl with down syndrome). She found out about an alternative school and entered. She soon had her baby and he was healthy. Soon after, she went home with her baby. Her mother threw the baby on the floor and they both got into a fight. The girl ran away and lived with her teacher. Later on she found out her father had died of AIDS and she was infected HIV positive. At the end she took her children and told her mother,"You won't be seeing me anymore." after an argument with a social worker.
This is the best, saddest, and inspirantional Tyler Perry movie I've ever seen. I hope you guys can see it too.
