And vs enough durability or defence you do what? brake your arms and crash yourself with that speed?
Or regeneration like tsunade or juubi jins?

Great example. Let's take that.

Let's say I'm moving fast enough that everything is standing still. Time has essentially frozen.

With just my bare fists, I could beat either of those two to nothing but a stain on the ground, because I can do it as many times as I like. This is because I literally have as much time as I want. I'm moving so fast that atoms will barely be vibrating. I could punch them a million times if I wanted. They aren't regenerating from anything, because time has essentially all but stopped.

Do you understand now? Do you need me to break it down further?

So an FTG user with kunai will get through a susanoo user with enough hits?

FTG doesn't give you speed, it gives you teleportation. If Gai, Lee or whoever's fast enough on your book is able to speed up so fast that the Uchiha that is using Susano'o cannot keep up, then yeah, eventually they > Susano'o.

Yeah...The **** is your sickness and this fiction?
Time doesnt exist its subjective matter and atoms vibrate at all speeds.
Since your probable enemy is on some living planet with atmosphere you'll just burn to crisp at your fictional speeds U_U

Strength is. Strength is what makes speed.

For example people who say flash ain't got strength.. yall needa check yo sh*t again. He has one of the best leg muscles. And he needs to be in the prime of his body to achieve all that speed.

Without any strength you can't move.

But what is more important is, reaction timing. Just because you aren't the fastest in speed, doesn't mean you suck. If your reaction timing and predicting skills are far superior.. then you basically solo'd the fight.

Reaction > Speed.

Someone is upset. Haven't you ever heard of the Theory of Relativity?

This was always a hypothetical discussion. Obviously nobody could really move at these speeds, but if they could it's essentially an insta-win.

It's the same reason Flash is by far the most overpowered and underwritten character in comics.

Agreed.

I get the argument about reflexes and durability.
But if you're fast enough they can't react. And even if their durability is high, with enough hits they'll fall.
That is again dependent on which force is the greater one.

What you people refer to in speed is someone like Flash.. sorry but Flash is not pure speed. He is strength + reflexes + speed combined. Hence why he is the fastest man alive. Everyone in Naruto and anyone in real life can't be flash.

But when solely talking about speed.. its hardly a dominating factor. I would place it 4th or 5th on my list.

At the same time enstein say nothing can speed up to speed of light.
Nothing of born design will ever move at such speeds for sure.
Flash isnt moving such speeds either, still has nothing on S-man.

Just a little thought for you guys. Compare the following: a Car hitting you at 1 mph and the same car hitting you at 100 mph.

Now lets say if the 100mph was made of cotton, and the 1 mph was made of steel.. which one would hurt more?

In the end its all about strength.

Yeah, but I said to compare the same object at different speeds, so your point is invalid. Plus, strength is useless if you can't hit anyone while someone with speed can hit you 1000 times before you even know you're being hit.

And then compare this 2 cars but to huge concrete building U_U

The car goint at 1 mph will do nothing at all, while the car going at 100 mph (assuming it's built from very durable materials) will crush the puny concrete wall.

But yeah, I guess you both understood that speed adds to your momentum, which in turn increases your strength (if we're talking about attacks in this case)

Speed alone doesnt cut it.
One also needs to have kill capability, defeat defence of the enemy and so on.
Just speed isnt worth much.

Power = Force x Speed

If you can double your speed, you can double the power of your strike.

On top of that, the methods for improving speed (in taekwondo) involve learning to move more efficiently. A straight punch vs. a haymaker. So, less wasted force. So it actually improves the amount of force involved in the strike anyway.

Plus there are ways to use a person's force against them. If they spend all their time trying to improve force they're just going to give their opponent a bigger weapon. How do you even use speed against someone?

Tell me again how speed isn't worth much.

It's very true speed is crucial, but not everything. Case and point Rock Lee vs Gaara. Gaara walked away from that match unharmed, but Lee was barely visible to human eyes.

You need speed, strength, durability, and awareness to win a fight. Just one won't cut it.

thats because lee was slow for garra and his sand could keep up with him.
watch the video here of goten throwing a rock at gohan, it had pretty crappy durability, pretty crappy strength or weight you can call, but no doubth that rock had to be moving at above speed of light to be able to bust a hole thru entire mountain and still continue flying.
SPEED IS WHAT GIVES STRENGTH AND DURABILITY.

Speed > Hidden > Defense > Speed

It's a cycle in my opinion. A "hidden" type is a shinobi who specializes in hiding their body and attacking from a short while away, using clones and substitutions, all the while devising strategies, such as Kabuto, Shikamaru, Zabuza, 2nd Mizukage, Muu, or Orochimaru. A speedster could take themselves to where the hidden type is and take them out before they react. A hidden type can sneak around from a distance and wear down their defenses, like Kabuto vs Sasuke and Itachi.A defense type beats a speed type by waiting until they attack, blocking their attack with defense, and counterattacking (example, Sasuke vs kage summit and Danzo.)
