South-East Kinai Island

The southeastern part of Kinai is considered dangerous even by the locals of the Water Archipelago as it is home to a number of pirate crews, led by fearsome pirate lords that make their homes deep in the humid, jungle-like forests that encompass most of the area’s habitable depressions. Surrounded by steep hills or cliff formations these can be hard for outsiders just to find, much less to navigate safely. Underground tunnels allow the pirate crew to move between their bases and ships quickly; making the surrounding waters unsafe for most. The area is considered almost a rogue nation by the rest of the archipelago, for there has truly never been a more wretched hive of scum and villainy in the world. Like most of the archipelago the area is almost perpetually covered by mist.

This post marks the beginning of my mission using these storyboard elements:
Assassinate the enemy commander (5)
Destroy a large community (5)

Summary: Sasori kills a community of pirates and kills the battle commander.
[RP begins here]
Sasori finally walked upon the strange area, and it was sure a sight to behold. The island that he walked on contained an assortment of jungle-like forests that were crawling with pirates. He could see countless pirates crawling around like ants and he would bet that there were even more in hiding. Despite the mist that was present in the area Sasori had little trouble seeing past due to a multitude of reasons, one being the fact that the Crimson Demon allowed him to sense the chakra all around the field. Sasori stood upon the shore of the area where he had first arrived and simply began to observe his surroundings. All around him were men… no, they were barely men, but the humans present on the island were some of the worse. Sasori knew that men like these had no purpose other than to steal and inflict pain on others. Sure some might call him a hypocrite, but what he did was not for no purpose, but instead was an art. Yes, his puppets were all art and so every kill that he made, and every person he made into a puppet was not for no purpose. Those who fell at his blade all died for a good purpose, a purpose they could not achieve on their own. While he was observing the area, Sasori became a bit distracted as he watched a scene unfold on the island:

Pirate 1: “Gimme back the loot that you stole from me you rat!”
Pirate 2: “I earned this gold fair and square!
Pirate 1: *Retrieves sword from pouch*
Pirate 2: “So be it!”

The rest of the event was unimportant or rather Sasori decided to direct his attention to something else because the men would only waste his time. “The humans who inhabit this place… or rather the pirates at the very least are disgusting people. They all have no purpose in this world. They have no higher goals for themselves. They were truly saddening creatures to him. Sasori had become more recluse over the user, but that still was no excuse for that way the world had changed. It was not time that had changed the world, in fact, nothing changed with the world. It was the people in the world that were corrupt. Humans had always been corrupt and they had always killed one another in cold blood. That was human nature. As time ticked on, Sasori began to annoy himself or rather everyone around him began to annoy him. In a split second, he noticed a group of pirates run past him as if in pursuit of someone. This normally would not have struck him as strange, but it did. The pirates ran past him as if they did not know who he was and what he stood for.

It had been too long since that they heard his name. The entire world had forgotten what his name meant and they had forgotten why it had meant that. The entire world continued to turn and in Sasori’s absence the world ended up forgetting about him. The entire world had forgotten about Sasori of the Red Sand. The world had forgotten that he was a puppet master of high prestige and that he was once renowned for slaughtering so many people that he had laced the very sand they walked on with blood. He had used the blood that poured from his victim’s body to paint the sand a dark crimson color. Once upon a time, the world knew of how dangerous he was and just what he was capable of. The world knew that he was a man… or rather a creature with little patience and that he also had developed a poison that could not only kill but make every second you were under its effects feel like a thousand minutes. As Sasori looked out upon the vast horizon, he began to ponder the meaning of his life and began to wonder where his ideas had gotten him so. He was not a man and he was not a puppet, but at the center of his body, he contained a living core which was a testament to his life. It was at that moment that he knew what he had to do. The people on this island were annoying and had no purpose so, Sasori decided that he would give them, in death, a purpose. A purpose that would have proven that their lives was nor meaningless and that they did live for something. With the wood of his puppet body clanking and making a lot of noise he would laugh as he spoke in a low voice, a voice so low that only those in his nearby vicinity could hear. “You all will die, but you will not die vane, your death will give me much-needed material for my collection,” He said in a chuckle as he pulled out a scroll with his right hand and opened his chest compartment with his left hand.

Coincidentally, it would appear that five pirates who were running past him earlier had heard what he said and began to change directions and head back towards him. There was one particular man who stood out amongst the rest for the sole fact that he was bulkier and perhaps stronger than the rest. It was also obvious that he was the leader because he stood in front of the other pirates. Shortly, after stopping in front of him the man began to interrogate Sasori with questions… questions which he did not bother to answer.

Boss Pirate: Answer me now! What did you say about us!
Boss Pirate: If you keep ignoring me I’ll have no choice, but to kill you.

The pirate’s last statement was almost humorous, but Sasori still said nothing. While the man was talking to him Sasori would have already thrown his scroll into the sky and upon activation, a plethora of puppets would begin releasing themselves into the sky. These puppets that scattered across the skies would soon begin to form an enormous shadow across the field. The skies had literally darkened and Sasori could see the fear beginning to settle in on their faces. Without wasting any time, his open chest compartment would begin to release a multitude of chakra strings into the air and attach themselves to each puppet. The hundred puppets that were above everyone could be heard clattering and twitching in an unsettling manner. Sasori simply smirked as he watched the men’s expression change drastically. Initially, the men began to slowly back away but soon stopped after they realized that there was no chance they would outrun the enormous shadow that was cast over the field. Today surely was not these men luck day, but someone has to be first, there always has to be a body to drop first.

Sasori’s Hundred Puppet Army
Type: Puppet
Rank: S
Range: N/A
Chakra: 40
Damage: N/A
Description: This is a group of 100 of Sasori’s puppets, out of the 298 total. Every one of these puppets are made from humans he defeated, creating them into puppets. All of them hold some type of weapon, some have katanas, some have chains of kunai, others with large claws, etc. Sasori is said to have destroyed an entire country with these puppets. Sasori opens the compartment in his right chest, revealing a hundred chakra strings that each connect to one of these puppets. Though they lack teamwork, they make up for it by barraging their opponent to wear them down.

After each Second passed, Sasori began to grow more and more amused. He looked around and gazed around the battlefield and thought of what he should do first. After coming to the conclusion that he should just eradicate the entire population of pirates on the island his smirk shifted to a more serious look. It was as if in a matter of seconds his entire demeanor had changed. With his puppets clattering above it made it sort of difficult to think and process how he should kill them, but within a matter of moments he figured out what the best plan of action would be. Sasori decided that the best way and probably the most efficient way to kill all of the pirates would be for them to come to him, however, in order to do that he knew that he would have to figure where they were hiding or… he could…

While Sasori drifted off in deep thought his puppets would have gone into action. His first victim would be the pirate who appeared to be over the other pirates. Sasori intended to make an example of him and would do so by killing him in one of the most gruesome ways possible. Sasori would first command ten puppets to swiftly rain down from the sky and attack the bulky looking man. While the first wave of puppets targeted the Boss Pirate the rest of the pirates would begin running in the opposite direction. “How foolish.” he thought. Once the wave of puppets was within range they would extend a variety of weapons from their sleeves ranging from kunai and shuriken to swords and katanas. The puppets planned to take out the pirate in one foul swoop, but what happened next was all but what Sasori expected. The moment the puppets were within short-range of the pirate, he quickly retrieved a sword from his side and began to coat it in a layer of translucent chakra. In a matter of seconds, the pirate would spin in a 360-degree circle and while spinning he would release arcs of chakra in all directions that would crash into Sasori’s puppets and destroy them. In response to this Sasori simply smirked and thought “How interesting.” Once his puppets dropped to the ground, Sasori kept a mental note of just how many puppets he had left. The arcs themselves also only targeted the puppets themselves, so Sasori had little to worry about.

Upon taking notice of the man’s abilities, Sasori knew just the way to take him down. Sasori would defeat this man the same way he had defeated many opponents before. For his next attack, Sasori would cause his puppets to release a wide array of senbon that would rain down upon the man and while they may not be enough to kill they would be enough to poison him with a dose of his specialty poison. In response to this rather weak attack, the pirate began to make a series of rambunctious remarks.

Boss Pirate: Is that all you got?!!
Boss Pirate: My cat can dish out more damage than this!
Boss Pirate: I guess you must be a magician because it seems all you’re good at is putting on a good show hahaha!

The remarks went on and on, but Sasori stopped paying attention after the first couple of remarks. Meanwhile, as the senbon were raining down upon the sky, Sasori took this chance to catch his enemy off guard. While his opponent was distracted by the senbon, Sasori controlled one of his puppets to secretly move behind his puppet and he was able to do so by taking advantage of the rain of senbon that were distracting his opponent. Sasori did not control the puppet to strike right away but instead planned on waiting for the optimum time to strike. While this was happening, the Boss Pirate would respond to the rain of senbon by stabbing his sword into the ground and channel his chakra into it. In a matter of seconds, a dome of translucent chakra would be emitted around the man and would cover him up to short-range. Sasori suspected that this was done in order to act as a sort of defense and his suspicions were soon confirmed when the senbon were deflected upon making contact with the barrier. Sasori could have continued to release the senbon as long as he wanted, but he decided not to because it appeared that the man was able to maintain his barrier just as long as he could maintain his senbon. Once Sasori stopped firing the senbon his opponent dropped his barrier and once this happened Sasori knew that it was his time to strike. Sasori would now control the puppet located behind the pirate to move forward and strike down the man. The puppet would move swiftly and silently with a katana in its hand. When the puppet was only inches away it would aim to release a horizontal slash upon the pirate’s back. In a matter of seconds, the pirate would swiftly spin around and slash at the puppet’s neck and disconnect it from the rest of its body. “Heh… they always fall for the same trick.” The moment the puppet was slashed its body would fall lifelessly to the ground behind him and its head would roll to the pirate's side. Figuring that the attack was over, the pirate would turn around and face Sasori once again. The moment the pirate turned back around, Sasori would simply smirk and this one action appeared to infuriate the pirate.

Boss Pirate: What are you smirking at child! I have already destroyed all of your dol--.”

The pirate, however, was never able to finish his sentence and immediately dropped to the ground before he could. After he fell to the ground after clearly being overcome with something he questioned how. Sasori said nothing, but he twitched his finger and a clanking noise could be heard to the side of the pirate. The source of the sound was severed the head of the puppet that the pirate recently destroyed or so he thought. The head clattered about and not only was the head visible, but a chakra thread that was connected to the puppet had also become visible. This, however, did not answer the pirate’s questions, but the single senbon that was lodged into the pirate’s lower back would answer that question. With the last bit of strength that he had, the pirate shifted his head to his left and looked at the clattering head that had a devilish grin on its face which was almost ironic. It was not long before the poison rendered the man immobile and shortly after it would kill him. Meanwhile, Sasori would watch as the other pirates ran away to escape him, but he knew that it was pointless.

New Mission: This post marks the beginning of my mission using these storyboard elements:
Destroy a large community (5)
Summary: Sasori kills a community of pirates
[RP begins here]

Instead of chasing after the pirates who were escaping into the distance Sasori decided to watch them flee. “How foolish.” He thought at first. Sasori knew that there would be no point in them running away because he had already scoped out the entire field. Right now, Sasori had figured out a way to make his life easier. Instead of tracking down all of the pirates, Sasori decided that the more natural way for him to bring out all of the pirates would be to have one of the pirates call for reinforcements. He already knew that one of the pirates were going to call for reinforcements because in the distance he heard the following conversation between two pirates.

Pirate 1: *panting* we need to bring reinforcements, or we’re goners *panting*
Pirate 2: *gasping* you’re right… we’re going to bring out everyone we got…

The rest of the conversation went unheard because the pirates had escaped too far into the distance. It mattered not because Sasori had heard what he needed to hear. Once all of the pirates had fled, Sasori stood back with his puppets clanking above him. All of his creatures were making a lot of raucous which would make it near impossible to draw attention to himself. Moments later, was when Sasori heard something interesting. He had first to drown out the sound of his puppets first, and when he did, he was able to listen to the music of a marching band. This time, however, it was not the sound of a marching band he heard; instead, he heard the sound of hundreds of pirates marching towards his location. From the tone of it, Sasori guessed that there was a little over a hundred pirates advancing towards his position. With each passing second, their stomping became louder and stronger which was evident in the fact that the pebbles on the ground began to rock back and forth. Soon after Sasori heard the tramped of wild elephants he saw the first shadow… first figure…first of many to fall once again.

As seconds stretched to minutes, Sasori could already foresee the bloodshed to come. The bodies to fall at his feet. It was indeed a shame for them to all lose their lives in such a meaningless way. At least one good thing would come out of this, and that was the countless amounts of research material he could gather from their dead corpses. It was not long before Sasori heard the ponderous feet of the men stop dead in the feet. The men stayed approximately twenty meters away from him as if to keep their distance. “Heh. It seems they’ve learned something.” Sasori said with a smirk on his face. Now, he only wondered if they were going to make the first strike or would he have to. His question was soon answered when he heard one of the men unleash a war call and moments later he noticed the men grip something in their hands and arched their arms back. “Hm.” Next, he heard one of the pirates say:

Pirate 3: “Archers, on my call, go… GO!"

The next thing Sasori saw were several spears move into the air toward his location. Due to the countless amount of arrows, it was near impossible to outrun. It would also be difficult to protect all of his puppets from the thread. Sasori knew that he would have to fast and smart if he were to avoid this threat. After coming up with a plan, Sasori would scatter his puppets, so that the majority of them were behind. He would move all of his puppets, but one behind him. The one puppet that remained in front of him would serve as his defense. With the single chakra thread connected to the puppet, Sasori would send an influx of chakra into the puppet. This jolt of chakra would cause a copious amount of chakra to build on top of the puppet. It was not long before the chakra built on top of the puppet-like blob monster of sorts. Sasori would control this blob to contain 75% of his puppets along with himself. Once the spears were in range, they would fall down from the sky and target the dome of chakra. Due to the dome’s sturdiness, the spears were deflected off of the barrier and onto the ground. Fortunately for Sasori majority of his puppets were saved. Unfortunately, 25% of his puppet had met their demise at the hand of the spears.

After the pirates struck down Sasori’s puppets, he noticed that once the spears pierced the ground, they instantly caught on fire. “The spears must have been coated in a flammable substance set to go off when they pierced something. How bothersome.” He thought. When Sasori looked around his noticed that the spears had blocked him inside of a circular barrier of flames, and the nearest flaming spear was at least ten meters away. In the distance, Sasori heard the pirates yell in triumph. Sasori's facial expression quickly turned to one of annoyance, and he had decided to play no more games with the pirates. Sasori first scattered his puppets across the field, and this time each puppet would take hold of a flaming spear. Moments later, Sasori would command his puppets forward towards the community of puppets ahead. All of the pirate’s facial expressions quickly turned to one of fear as they saw death approach them. They already knew that this was their end. Sasori would first control his puppets to release a flaming spear towards the pirates, and they would pierce them through their abdomen pinning them to the ground. Shortly afterward, the rest of his puppet army rain down from the heavens ready to wreak havoc. At first, Sasori planned on leaving at one or two men alive because he needed to have some test subjects who were living, but he long abandoned that plan. Sasori's one goal now was to annihilate all of the pirates there. Sasori's demeanor quickly changed from calm one to a more sadistic one. Around twenty puppets would rain down from the sky first with a sword in hand. The puppets would hold their swords in a slashing motion and the moment they were within range of one of the pirates they would slice at them in a horizontal and vertical manner. This would cause for a portion of the pirates to be slices into multiple pieces. The men fell apart like they were pieces of a puzzle. Some of them lost a leg, an arm, or even a head. The blades of Sasori's puppets were quickly coated in a thick layer of crimson blood, which was almost ironic considering his name. After deciding that he had let his puppets have enough of the fun, Sasori activated a sealing tag on his back and summoned forth a massive mechanical puppets. This puppet dwarfed all of his Red sand puppets easily due to its enormous size. Sasori would control his new puppet to raise its arms and create a fist with its hand. He would then quickly lower its arms after picking up a considerable amount of force and would smash the around five of them to dust. After Sasori crushed the pirates, their remains looked like that of a squashed bug. Right after that, he would swing the fist of his Charon puppet across the field and knock a large portion of the men off their feet, breaking most of their legs in the process. Shortly after his first two assaults, Sasori noticed the remaining pirates bring forth a large cannon that was aimed directly at him. Without so much as a warning, a two meter wide metallic ball jetted across the field towards him. This time around, the attack was not even targeting his puppets. Sasori assumed that they figured out that he was the ring leader and if they managed to take him down then they would be able to take down the rest of the puppets. Unfortunately for them, Sasori was prepared for all outcomes. Right before the metallic bomb hit Sasori, he controlled his Charon puppet to place its arms in front of him forming a barricade of sorts that would protect him from the incoming threat.Upon contact with the metallic ball, Charon began to crack at its seams as the pressure from the incoming attack was greater than he expected. It mattered not to Sasori because Charon was still able to slow the attack down enough so that the damage it dealt was negligible. The only bad part about this is that one of his favorite puppets, Charon, had been shattered into a thousand pieces. " How annoying." he thought. Sasori had finally had enough of the puppets and decided that he would kill them all at this point. Without a moment of hesitation, Sasori controlled him remaining puppets to swiftly move through the battle field with a sword extended. He would control the puppets to move in a zig-zag manner and slice down all of the men one by one. None of the pirates were prepared for the attack because all of Sasori's puppets were closing in from multiple angles as they moved through the field. Once all was said and done, the pirate's pathetic screams dissipated as the last of them dropped to the ground. The result of what he had just done was something to behold. All of his puppet's weapons were laced with blood, and the ground had been painted a lush crimson color. It was times like these that Sasori remembered why he was known as Sasori as the Red Sand. Now that everything was done, Sasori turned his back on the hundreds of men who had been skilled and walked away from the bloody scene.

(Ningyō-shi no akuma-kyū) Puppet Arts: Puppet Master’s Demonic Sphere
Type: Offensive/Supplementary/Defensive
Rank: S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 40
Damage: 80
Description: The user while having their puppets connected to a chakra source preferably chakra threads will begin to infuse their puppet with chakra. The user will send forth a surge of chakra into the chakra threads which will begin to gather upon said puppet in rapid succession. While the chakra is being gathered the puppet will be coated in a copious amount of chakra until it resembles that of a large blob of chakra. Once the chakra has been gathered onto the puppet, the user will then use shape manipulation to cause the blob of chakra to manifest spikes along its surface. Let it be known that the user can modify the sphere of chakra to expand up to five meters in a spherical manner. When utilizing this technique it's main purpose will be to attack targets with a blob of spherical chakra capable of doing blunt as well as precise damage. If desired, it is possible for the user to manifest the sphere of chakra around themselves as well as anything short range of them as long as the puppet utilizing this technique is within five meters of the user. The purpose of doing this will be to create an omnidirectional shield capable of protecting the user from all angles.

Note: Can only be used thrice

(Karon no fukushū) Vengeance of Charon
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 40
Damage: NA (80)
Description: By first sending chakra into a seal located on their back the user summons forth a massive mechanical doll that will burst forth hunched over the user's body. This mechanical doll rises at least five meters across and above the user. Due to how large and hunched over the puppet is, it provides an excellent defense from aerial attacks. The main purpose of this technique is to act as a sort of extension of the user simply meaning that once that once the puppet is on the field the user can use it to lash out its limbs to do blunt damage at a target who is at max ten meters away. At most the user can have this extension on the field for a maximum of three turns, but can be destroyed by an S-rank or higher attack. By spending a move the user can manipulate the puppets massive fist to deal the blunt damage of S-rank damage which will be divided upon the two fist so each one individually will be A-rank. Along with simply crushing a target, it is possible for the user to utilize the puppets hands in order to restrict a target/object by gripping it with the puppets hands. When gripping onto an object the user will be able to grab hold of objects around the size of a large boulder. Let it be noted that the user is able to utilize this mechanical doll to release basic puppetry moves such as Endless Rain of Senbon or the Poison Smoke screen as long as a they spend a move to do so. Lastly, when using the puppets arms it is possible for the user to place both arms side by side in order to create a frontal shield of anything five meters in width. Any of its actions cost a move.

Note: Can only be used once.
Note: If using for prolonged usage, No A-rank or above Mutation Fist the following turn.

Summary:

A story of king finding the ultimate warriors, ones that live for battle, Spartans. How will he survive in such a hopeless situation....

Part 1: A Strange Encounter

Having left the clan's new base a few days ago, king was excited to step foot on land once more. As much as he'd enjoyed his recovering from the many events over the past couple of weeks, he was excited to stretch his legs once more, now feeling at ease that he had found a place to call home. Something had changed in him, since the reaction of Theoden and his people, making king feel as though he'd made the lives of the people better, he felt like he'd finally made amends. Now king stood in his small boat, leaning on his staff as he made his way to the shore of a foreign land. Thanks to being in such a small boat in the misty oceans, it seemed as though he'd managed to pass by unnoticed, which for him was great, he wanted to explore, wanted to learn, and this was the way to do it. Approaching the beach that base of a row of cliffs, he got out and pulled his ship ashore. The beach was small that he landed on with many trees that led up to the base of the cliffs where a path lay, not quite wide enough for a cart to pass another. It was hard to see any further due to the mist so the only thing to do was to go and explore. Gathering his belongings from his ship, which he tied to a tree, he set off up the beach and towards the pathway he'd seen.

There was something quite unsettling about this area. The mist seem to be thicker in places and yet it was rather quiet. It kept king on edge as he walked along trying to look around, though that was easier said than done. It was only at the point where his foot slipped because he was at the edge of the road without realizing, about to fall down the cliff face, that he realized he needed to be more careful. Taking a few steps back he continued along the way, the great path that led up the side of the mountain edge into the mainland. As he made the journey, after about an hour he could see where the path would cut into the mountain itself and lead to the main land, a much welcome sight. Making his way there, king was looking forwards to what lay beyond, as he reached the entrance way, the hairs on the back of his neck stood on edge. His staff, Glamdring would glow and grow warm, in that instant his body moved on it's own taking a step backwards. The timing of this saved his life, with a smash, he looked to his left side, diagonally in the ground, a spear. A glow of energy faded from the spear. It wasn't the glow that got to him, it was the force of impact, a mini crater and cracked rocks surrounded the point of penetration into the ground.

"What the....?"

In that moment, king's instincts kicked in once more, his eyes, the all seeing white eye would kick into action, his 360 degree vision taking form just in time. From above, a figure of chakra, sword and shield, the sword infused with a mass of chakra aiming to strike king. At the last moment king would use the skills of the drunken fist falling out of the way just in time to avoid being cleaved in two, the sword instead would strike the ground, but king caught it this time with his eyes. The energy within the sword would be released outwards in a focused burst through the ground breaking it in two 5 meters in front of where the sword cut. Now the figure stood tall and king saw the man properly for the first time. A well built man, 6 feet tall, very muscular, a trimmed but rough looking beard, a scar down his left cheek, a golden helmet and a red cloak covered his back as he wore only a simple cloth to cover his groin with sandles suited for sandy terrain on his feet. On his left had a round shield large enough to cover his upper body and in his right hand, a short sword about a 2 foot long. Here was the epitome of an old school warrior.

As he stood there, king slowly rose to his feet with his staff in his right hand, wiping dirt from his clothes, he stood ready. The mans face hidden within the helmet, it was hard to tell what he looked like, what he was thinking, his breathing could be heard reverberating within, and a small laugh, he was enjoying this. Well, king would give him something to laugh about. Holding out his left hand he made the "bring it" gesture with a smile on his face. It seemed to do the trick as the man braced himself, the sword would glow once more with chakra as the man launched himself at king. The fight would begin.

The man would rush forwards, his sword raised aiming to bring it down on king, blocking was a bad idea, king stepped to the outside of the blow, bringing his staff around the back of the man's legs sweeping them from under him causing him to fall backwards. A simple maneuver that king believed would give him the upper hand, but he was wrong, as the man went down, he swung his shield arm around down towards the ground and on impact, a burst of chakra and the force of it pushed him upright as the shield swung around aiming to strike king in the side of the head. Raising his arms to protect his head he turned his body to steel, solid, his ultimate defense taking the blow head on. The force behind it was tremendous, the clash of steel and shield caused the very air to shake sending a thunderous roar all around as king slid along the ground, his feet dug in leaving trenches as he tried to stand his ground.

"Wow... this is intense... i didn't expect to come against something like this..."

There was something familiar about what he was up against, the way his sword and shield delivered blows, the style in itself, a sword and shield was basic, but the way this man was using it, it was something completely different. King would have to wait for his opening, if he rushed in now, he could leave himself open and one wrong move and this would all be over. He held his staff with horizontally across his body waiting for the next assault. Now the man rushed once forwards, his shield arm across his body, as he reached king he swung his shield around into kings staff, the shield glowed with chakra for a single moment, and on impact with his staff, burst outwards. With his Byakuya, kings perception was better than usual, seeing it almost in slow motion, reading the flow of chakra, he now realized what was going on. The blast would knock his staff out of his hand and push king into the air, his steel body protecting him.

The man leaped now up, he though he hand king, his sword flowing with chakra aiming to strike king in the chest, but in that moment, mid air, king would bring the outside of his right palm around, hitting the side of the sword while releasing chakra from his entire body at once, his body continuing to spin 360 degrees to create the ultimate defense, catching the man off guard pushing him flying back down into the ground. Slowly king stopped spinning dropping to the ground in a kneeling position before raising to his feet.

"Now i understand... you fighting style. You release burst of chakra on the point of impact to maximize the damage and aiming to strike the chakra points in my body.... and i bet if i removed that helmet i know what eyes i'd see under there.... now tell me... who are you... what are you and how do you know these secret techniques!!!"

The man before him got to his feet, a few scratches from where he'd hit the ground, now spitting out to his side, a bit of blood, so he wasn't invincible it would seem. Now he would laugh at king.

"Puny boy, you think you know how we fight? We fight without fear, we fight for the glory of our people...the only way to die is in battle.... that is the Spartan way!"

He doesn't wait for king to reply he now runs in, his chakra flowing through his sword he aims to slice down with his blade infused with chakra once more, aimed at kings right shoulder. With no weapon to hand, king reacted the only other way he knew how, he'd show this spartan the true ways of the gentle fist. Leaving his left foot forwards, his right leg sliding slightly back and his arms held out, as the sword came down he would strike the side of it with the outside of this left palm while striking the spartan's chest with his right palm, using a gentle first two palm strike. The strike from the right palm caught the spartan off guard, but didn't stop him from trying again. After stumbling back one step he aimed to strike again. This time faster, king reacted in kind, his right palm striking the sword away this time while his left arm passed under it aiming to strike now but the spartan raised his shield and in a burst of chakra form both sides, the clash pushed them both back.

So began the barrage, the relentless assault from both sides....

The spartan, never letting up, never doubting himself, his resolve clear, win or die. Each clash pushing the mist away around them as blow after blow they exchanged. Though he wasn't the only one, king wouldn't die here. As the spartan grew faster, so did King. His body began to react on it's own, his eyes seeing all, his chakra growing strong. It was like he was growing stronger as the fight wore on even though his body was growing tired and weaker. A relentless barrage of sword strikes, met with kings Eight Trigrams Palm Revolving Heaven, but the spartan never stopped, every time king tried to strike in kind, the Spartan's shield was there to block. Frustrated now, king was determined to push himself to his limits...

"Got to go fasterrrr!!!!"

Growling through gritted teeth, the sword strikes grew faster and in greater volume and with it, so did kings gentle fist strikes.... 16 palms.... 32 palms... 64 palms.... the power form their attacks clashing destroying the very area around... the more strikes he did... every now and then one got through... hitting the spartan, but he wouldn't' stop... and neither would king... they were both getting tired, reaching their limits but that wouldn't stop either of them. It was getting to the point of conclusion. With this... king was going to end it....

"Eight Trigrams One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms!!!!!"

His arms moving faster than the spartan could react blow after blow, the sword and shield couldn't keep up. The sword knocked away, the shield pushed back in a clash, king pushed forwards with each strike, breaking through the defense, landing blow after blow, try as he might the spartan couldn't react, his arms grew heavy as each blow landed, blocking his chakra points and impact hurting each time. King stopped for a moment as he drew back both his hands....

"I'm going to end this..."

His hands would glow, his chakra taking a physical form, the lions of pure energy around both his fists. Thrusting both palms forwards smashing through the spartan's shield with a thunderous clash he hit him in the chest in a burst blasting him backwards as a wave of pure energy pushed the mist back all around them, the spartan sliding to the floor and king left stood, near on breathless, tired, but victorious. King walked over to him stood one foot away from him now, looking down on the spartan, who laughed as blood trickled down from his mouth.

"You're stronger than you look... boy.... i've never seen someone... grow stronger.... in a fight like that... who are you....?"

"My name is Harlequin... but i'm known as king..."

The spartan laughed then spat out more blood...

"There is only one king...."

As he laughed and looked off to the side. The mist was cleared, parting. There was a figure, no, numerous figures...100... 200... no about 300. The mist parted, the marching sounds growing as the group approached stopping mid range from king... 300 more spartans, each looking as strong as the last. King took a step back, he was speechless. It had taken everything he had to beat one. Holding out his hand, his staff came to him which he now leaned on, breathing heavy. After a moment, he stood ready, his staff held across his body. He'd fight to the end.

One man stepped forwards out of the crowd, taking his helmet off and passing his shield to a man to his right as he walked towards king. Stopping a couple of meters away, looking at the spartan on the floor then back to king. He burst out laughing.

"Wow, seems like you've had the time of your life Armenius, against this kid? Wew, he must of put up a hell of a fight...."

Now he looked king in the face, held out his arms to both sides and with it spoke loudly with a grin on his face...

"WELCOME... TO SPARTA!!!!"

Exhausted, knowing this was a fight king couldn't win, he dropped to the ground...

What would happen next?

[Jutsu for reference]

Glamdring
Type: Weapon
Range: Short
Rank: S
Chakra: -5 per turn
Damage:
Description: Glamdring is a staff forged in the days before the first great ninja war. It was forged out of chakra metal that was triple folded to increase it's strength. It has a retractible blade on the end which can be passively created, which was triple forged to hone the blade to make it as sharp as physically possible. When it was forged the steel was constantly being infused with earth chakra similar to method of the
(Doton: Keijūgan no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Light Weight Rock Technique. In doing this they removed the weight of the steel to un-hinder it's movements. The staff being as thin and light as possible allowed it to be swung through the air with ease with next to no air resistance. Due to the triple folded steel the staff can only be destroyed by S rank power (Or two A ranks and so on). This sword has several unique properties:

Sting: The staff draws on 5 chakra per turn to emit chakra short range around itself that can't be seen, when ever a foreign chakra enters this field it will glow a bright blue for all to see. So if the user is hidden in the trees and an enemy is close, the staff will shine to alert the wielder. Not only this, but the staff will grow warm also.

Strike: The sword/staff being made of chakra metal being infused with earth element makes it highly adaptable to the weight jutsu. In an instant the user can activate the added weight jutsu increasing the weight of the sword x10 to increase it's destructive damage. Due to this they can cut through attacks of A rank and below due to the sharpness of the blade (within reason). The sudden increase in weight and force behind the strike releases wind currents (without being wind element) around the sword two feet on either side.

Arcane: This isn't really an ability but more of a passive effect making the staff adaptable in combat. With jutsu that require the user to make hand gestures rather than hand seals, the user will swing the staff to achieve the same result. For example, if the user needed to swing his hand up to raise and earth pillar from the ground, he could make the motion with the staff, using the motion of the staff to raise the earthen pillar. This would include if the user needed to slam his hand on the ground or stomp the ground, instead he would touch the ground with the staff.

Magi: This is a method of great chakra control. The user will spend one of their moves per turn to release chakra around the end of the staff to create a structure of a weapon. This weapon will be dark in color like the staff, and it can only be one of the following, a fan, a gunbai or a hammer. It can be up to 1 ft around the staff, is B rank, ranks, lasts 1 turn and counts as a move per turn.

Note: Sting ability is constantly active and saps 5 chakra from the user.
Note: Strike can be used 3 times per battle, happens instantly increasing the weight of the whole sword. Counts a move per turn, and must wait two turns to use again.
Note: Extending the blade counts as a turn but kenjutsu can be used through it.

(Jūken: Hakkeshou Kaiten) - Gentle Fist: Eight Trigrams Palm Revolving Heaven

Type: Defensive/Offensive
Rank: D-S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 10-40
Damage: 20-80
Description: A maneuver that obliges advanced chakra control—achieved via training in the Gentle Fist style—to release varied amounts of chakra from all of the user's 361 tenketsu, simultaneously. And in the midst of doing so, the user proceeds to rapidly spin and thereby, form a rotating shield of chakra with their own person at the epicenter. This functions as a defense to compensate for the Byakugan's blind spot as the released chakra blocks everything in a true 360° range and is able to send those struck by it careening back.

Note: D to C-rank is short-range while each rank thereafter will increase the diameter by 5 meters.

(Jūken: Hakke Sanjūni Shō) - Gentle Fist: Eight Trigrams Sixteen Palms
Type: Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra: 15
Damage: 30
Description: A maneuver that in effect is akin to a halved variant of the Eight Trigrams Thirty-Two Palms and accordingly, halts the flow of chakra that circulates in sixteen tenketsu of the foe's chakra pathway system. If the selected tenketsu are localized to a single limb, then the recipient of this move is rendered unable to use the targeted limb for ninjutsu for one turn, which includes those with applied passives. If the strikes are not all localized to a single limb, then the foe will instead be unable to use chakra surges of S-rank and higher for one turn. Beyond those effects, the usage of this maneuver will reduce the victim's chakra supply and any accumulated senjutsu chakra by 5% per use.

(Dōjutsu: Byakugan) Eye Technique: The All Seeing White Eye
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 15 (+5 per turn to keep active)
Damage: N/A
Description: The kekkei genkai intrinsic to both the Hyūga and Ōtsutsuki clans—descendants of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. Those who possess this dōjutsu have it manifested as eyes with featureless white irides and no visible pupils. And when activated, the pupils become more distinct and the veins near their temples bulge. To activate the dōjutsu, Hyuga but not Ōtsutsuki clan members are initially obliged to use a rather long and specific sequence of handseals: Horse → Tiger → Boar → Hare → Rat → Dog → Horse → Dog → Hare → Rat → Boar → Snake. But once activated, the dōjutsu user is endowed with a range of skills.

To start, an activated Byakugan gives the user a near 360º diameter field of vision bar one blind spot at the back of the neck, above the first thoracic vertebra. Its vision can penetrate through any solid objects or obstructions, and likewise remains unaffected by blinding interferences. But that being said, certain barriers and the like may distort its perception. In addition, it is able to follow high-speed movements, which enables those with this dōjutsu to analyze their foes' actions and better react to them. The Byakugan is also able to see chakra to a higher degree than the Sharingan and ergo, identify where a person's chakra signature originates from. Beyond that, it can discern certain types of clones from the real person. And its ability to see chakra is in fact so acute that those who possess this dōjutsu are even able to see the chakra pathway system and the 361 tenketsu that comprise it. The Hyūga clan has gone so far as to develop their unique Gentle Fist style in order to capitalize on this particular ability.

Note: Hyuga clan bios of at least Sannin rank become able to passively activate their dōjutsu upon one month having passed since Gentle Fist training concluded. Ōtsutsuki bios never need to expend a move in order to activate it.
Note: While traversing the NW, bios with activated Byakugan are able to see up to two 2 adjacent landmarks away while those of sage rank can see as far as three away, but this doesn't extend beyond an ocean landmark.

(Jūken: Hakke Sanjūni Shō) - Gentle Fist: Eight Trigrams Thirty-Two Palms

Type: Offensive
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: A maneuver that in effect is akin to a halved variant of the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms but is able to be performed at 1.5x the user's current speed and accordingly, halts the flow of chakra that circulates in thirty-two tenketsu of the foe's chakra pathway system. The recipient of this move will be rendered unable to use more than 50 chakra in individual attacks, which includes those with applied passives, for three turns. Beyond that effect, the usage of this maneuver will reduce the victim's chakra supply and any accumulated senjutsu chakra by 10% for two turns.

(Shugohakke Rokujūyon Shō) - Protecting Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Rank: A
Range: Short
Chakra: 15
Damage: 30
Description: A potent Gentle Fist maneuver that capitalizes on the user's Byakugan to envision an Eight Trigrams circle, which sets the stage for the foe within this circle to be hit by a huge series of precise strikes aimed at sixty-four tenketsu that comprise a portion of their chakra pathway system. Each successful strike halts the flow of chakra that ordinarily passes through the given tenketsu and makes chakra control a much harder endeavor. The recipient of this move will be rendered unable to user more than 35 chakra in individual attacks, which includes those with applied passives, for two turns. Beyond that effect, the usage of this maneuver will reduce the victim's chakra supply and any accumulated senjutsu chakra by 25% for four turns.

(Juken: Hakke Hyaku Nijūhachi Shō) - Gentle Fist: Eight Trigrams One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms
Type: Offensive
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra: 40
Damage: 80
Description: A doubled version of the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms technique, but also performed at twice the speed of the latter. This is used to close off the flow of chakra through one hundred twenty-eight chakra points of an opponent's Chakra Pathway System. This eliminates their ability to use B-rank and above levels of chakra for two turns while also making it difficult for them to move. Alternatively, it can be used to quickly hit multiple targets.

(Jūken: Jūho Sōshiken) - Gentle Fist: Gentle Step Twin Lion Fists
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40 (+20 to Taijutsu/+30 to Gentle Fist)
Description: The user exudes chakra from both hands and by utilizing advanced chakra control, mold the chakra into a form highly reminiscent of large guardian lion-shaped shrouds to greatly increase both the range and destructive power of their taijutsu. These lion-shaped shrouds are able drain the chakra network of those they touch and can be used in conjunction with any of the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms variants, increasing the damage by 30 while sacrificing the ability to limit chakra usage. But that being said, it is quite difficult to achieve this move and even a minute error with regards to chakra control will result in failure.

Note: Lasts up to three turns per use and has a three-turn cooldown.

Note: The fighting style of the spartan is an adaptation from the gentle fist which i came up with for this story, it's a custom style really which i plan to submit as a csc now after enjoying writing it this much.

- Develop a custom fighting style (20

Summary:
Having fought the spartan with such a unique style, king would push to develop his own to get stronger for the sake of his clan,

Slowly king began to open his eyes, struggling, blinking fast trying to focus. His body felt heavy, ached, he was trying to remember trying to focus but he was struggling. Bringing his hand to his head, he began to notice that he was looking up at a white stone ceiling. Confused, the tried to push himself up on his other hand, his head hurting, he tried to focus on where he was. White stone pillars held up the ceiling, intricate art lined the walls made of stone, he was on a bed of what seemed to be made up of animal fur, but how had he got here. The last thing he remembered was he was sailing to the new island, when he got there he met that....

"Shit"

He grabbed around looking for his staff which he found next to him, drawing himself up looking around. He remembered now. He'd been fighting that Spartan, one of the strongest people he'd ever faced. His hands still hurt from his over use of the gentle fist, striking the sword and shield alike, pushing himself to his absolute limits. But he wasn't the only one, there were atleast 300 more. So how did he get here? Why hadn't they killed him? Standing now, he made his way to the wall and looked out through the door. There was one lady walking around with a jar of water. The room was an open room connecting to several. But which would be the way out? He could use the byakugan but he didn't want to waste what little energy he had in case he encountered another one of those Spartans. He watched and waited for the woman to head into a side room. King slipped out the room making his way around the square shaped room. He looked in the room to his right, another bed chamber it seemed. But no one in it, he assumed it would be the same on the other side. King made his way to the end entrance, looking out, it was small corridor going 10m across, agaisnt a wall and opened up on both sides. He walked to the left and looked out around the wall quickly. In the room there were about 10 Spartans all eating a drinking with one familiar face at the end of the table. The one that had spoke to him before he passed out. How the hell was king going to get out of this one. Thinking he stood pressed against the wall. He heard a voice speak but didn't really give it much thought.

"I'm guessing you must be hungry?"

He kept trying to think having heard the voice, but that's when he started to notice, the room with the Spartans in had gone quiet now. the sound of drinking and eating had stopped. Just as king was about to put two and two together the voice spoke again:

"I mean, you can hide behind the wall for a bit longer but that just means the meat will all be gone by the time you decide to join us...."

King felt a shock go through his entire body. He was worn out, exhausted, in a large building he didn't know, in a land he didn't know, against a small army of Spartans that he barely managed to defeat one of. He was at their mercy. There was only one thing he could do. Confront them and see why he was still alive. He stepped out from behind the wall, leaning on his staff, he took a couple of steps towards the end of the long table.

"Ah, you decided to join us. What will be your choice of bevrage? Water? Wine? Ale? You may look like a young lad but those skills you showed... and those eyes... they've seen more than a lad could have ever... but that can wait..."

King stopped him.

"What the hell do you want from me? Why did you bring me here? Why didn't you kill me? Why do you have the same eyes as me? Where am i?"

They all sat in silence and then burst out laughing in unison, the roars of laughter rumbled through the entire room before the man at the end of the table gestured for them to calm down. King was getting angrier by the second as they laughed at him.

"Forgive us, it's just how you stand tall, proud and demand answers in a place where you know you're outmatched. That is a trait we only see here in Sparta. We brought you here cause you'd of died if he left you there. We didn't kill you because you won the fight, you proved yourself worthy. And you ask about our eyes? I think you know, we are descended from a branch family of the Hyuuga long ago. We are the Spartans. We are a proud people. We fight for honor and glory. We saw your fight with our comrade and you impressed us. Now honor us with your name? I am Leonidus, King of Sparta."

King stood for a moment, taken aback by all of it. They hadn't killed him because he beat on of their soldiers. They were kinda his very distant relatives. After a moment he realized everyone was staring at him...

"My name is Harlequin, but people just call me King. I came looking for answers or... to grow stronger... so i could take down that bastard Sephiroth... but i couldn't even beat...."

The king stood up knocking his chair over slamming his hands on the table that made king jump and draw his staff up ready for a fight.

"Did you just say Sephiroth? That bastard has been trying to bring us to our knees for years. A enemy of that devious bastard is a friend of ours. You want strength? You have a strong will boy, now let us teach you the ways of the SPARTANS!!!!"

With that all the other men in the room cheered raising their beers and the mood changed to that of excitement. King didn't really knw how to act so he made his way over to the end of the table and sat down and for once, relaxed. One of the men grabbed a beer and handed it to him with a plate of meat and other veg and stuff. It didn't look amazing but it tasted great. He would sit and listen to their stories of fights and such and how they had drove of Sephiroth's forces time after time. They came by boats, wave after way, but crashed like water on rock and were driven back. That's why the 300 had been at the pass. It was like their daily routine, get up, eat breakfast, crush their enemies and then return for merriment. A simple life? Lol. After many stories king returned to the room where he first awoke and was tended to by the woman he'd seen with the water. Here he rested until morning.

King was awoken the next day by the same lady. She brought him water, a change of clothes and breakfast. After he'd washed she led him through the building, outside into an open area. Here the king stood with a few of the men from the night before, their sword and shields with them. There was no roof in this area but king could tell it was still early yet they already had a sweat on, how long had they been training for?

"Ah Harlequin, you've decided to join us. Now we've warmed up, you've rested, we are going to help you get stronger. But before that... tell us about that thing you did before... it's so similar to our own style... one where where you used your hands..."

King look confused for a moment, but then realized what Leonidus meant.

"You mean the gentle fist? I thought that's what all hyuuga members knew... erm well... it's similar to how you fought. You infused chakra through your weapons, then on impact your release them in a focused burst right? Well, the gentle fist does the same, the chakra flows through my body and is released into a focused burst aimed to strike the chakra points, closing them off, weakening my opponent as the fight goes on. In can be used on a larger scale for bursts, striking weak points of jutsu... it depends. It's great but it just doesn't seem enough."

The king of the spartans stood stroking his beard and in deep though for a moment. It's clear he appreciated how skilled king was but then he spoke.

"It seems that, to use this style, you're always getting close to your opponent, and even with your vision, your body can only react so quickly in such close proximity, leaving you open at times, am i right?"

King thought about it for a moment, it was true, he nodded not liking to admit his own weakness.

"Have you thought about trying to make it have a larger range? Giving yourself some distance to allow yourself some more reaction time?"

"Yeah, i have. I tried but the problem is, i release the burst out, but its hard to keep the focus. Trying to strike a specific point from any further away needs alot more chakra and concerntration, it's too taxing and is less effective."

They both stood in thought for a moment before the king of the spartans had an idea.

"What about that?"

He said this as he pointed to kings staff in his right hand. King looked at it and held it out in front of him looking at the staff now as though for the first time. He'd not thought about this before. His staff in itself was useful, it was a relic from his past that he always kept at his side and felt he needed to rely on it but hadn't thought of it like this before. Could the staff actually act as an extension for his gentle fist style? He thought about it for a moment, but it made sense.

"Like you do with your swords... an extension of myself... if i just focus...."

As he said this he focused his chakra into his staff, concentrating, creating a flow of chakra in it. Stepping he thrust the staff forwards causing the chakra to flow through it towards the end in a burst outwards at the end, trying to create the focus but it burst on too large a scale through the air.

"Dammit..."

"Don't worry King... it will take time... but it seems you need a sparing partner... so how about you fight me? The best way to improve is when you're trapped in battle, pushed to your limits, so come.... fight me."

King looked up and nodded. He knew he had to do this, if he ever wanted to bring down sephiroth, he'd have to improve, no matter what. But to be the king of the spartan's a warrior clan, how strong must this guy be? King stepped into the center of the room with the king of the spartan's, his staff at the ready, and so the training began. King would slowly focus chakra through his staff, and aim to strike one blow at a time, aiming to create the same burst with his hands but it wasn't as easy as he would of hoped. Not at first anyway. The more he tried it, the easier it began. With simple thrusts and strikes he would channel his chakra to a point at the end of the staff aiming to strike the spartan, who would in turn raise his shield blocking each blow, the chakra's would clash and his blow would be deflected. But seeing this with his byakugan gave him an incentive, a way to improve his skills with a goal. If he struck the middle of the shield, with a single blow, releasing it at a focused point, the burst outwards could actually break through the defense like his once body blow technique. With each strike it became more focused and each time the spartan blocked his shield was knocked back a bit more. It was then that king focused, gained confidence in what he was doing then with a strike of pin point accuracy he struck the center of the shield releasing a focused burst that shot through the shield from the point on the staff knocking the shield out of the King's hand. It worked.

Harlequin didn't have time to be excited. The king now stopped defending and advanced and had to block each sword strike with his staff releasing chakra in bursts on impact from his staff so as to deflect the chakra enhanced sword. The more he did this, the easier it become, but the faster the spartan struck at him. But now after a barrage of strikes the spartan stepped back smiling.

"You've done well to come so far so quickly, but now, it's time to see if you've got what it takes... this is my best attack, my infinite blows style. Even with your staff you would be able to block each individual blow... so what will do you? Ready....3 .... 2....1..."

King listened to the countdown, trying to think, if he could block each blow what would he do. He could try his rotation but that's what left him open all the time... think... 2... what should he do? 1.... And as the first blow came, his body acted on it's own... in both hands he spun his staff infront of him releasing chakra around it and using the bursts to spin it faster like a propeller , creating a shield of raw chakra that pushed back every blow of the king of the spartan's. After a few seconds the king stopped his strikes and harlquin stopped spinning his staff, catching his breathe, still no 100%.

"See, your body acts on it's own when put in tough situations... but you did it lad... but just remember... i went easy on you..."

King smiled, catching his breathe sweating. He didn't doubt for a moment that the king was holding back, after his fight with just one of the soldiers. It was no wonder sephiroth couldn't control these people. But for now king needed to rest. And so he sat back and watched them train, seeing how they used their weapons to increase their style, thinking of how he could improve his own.

Summary: The story of how king met a nice friend.

King had made himself at home in the small village known as Sparta. Most of the buildings were made of white stone with fountains of fresh drinking water and small streams throughout the village through the use of aqueducts. It seemed like an ancient settlement that hadn't been lost to time, it was still clean and full of life. King felt so relaxed here, but each day he was awake by sunrise training with the spartan elite, honing his skills with his staff, willing himself to become stronger. After a wash each day he would explore the village a bit more and see what it had to offer. Approaching the edge of the village king saw a few traders talking among themselves, trying to calm one. Stopping near a fountain for a drink in the hot weather, king stopped and listened.

"I'm not going back out there, that beast attacked my cart again... almost got me too it did..."

"That again? Isn't the king going to do anything about it?"

"If it happens again i'm not coming back ere..."

King's curiosity got the best of him as he walked over to the three, his staff in one hand and his other hand behind his head.

"I couldn't help but overhear... what's that beast you talk about?"

"You aint from around these parts are ya kid?... That beast is a wolf like thing that hides in the mist... always hungry... constantly hunting... many wont come here cus of it..."

"Oh really? And no ones doing anything about it? How about next time i come with you?"

"You, kid? Thanks for the offer and all... but what's a kid like you gonna do against that beast?"

"Oh you know... i could put my training with the kings elite to the test? Unless you'd rather go alone?"

The three men looked stunned, looking at each other for answers until the man nodded towards king, still looking confused, yet a bit scared. After a few moments, he said he'd be making his run to the next village later that afternoon and would meet king back at that location when he was ready.

King wandered around the village for a while, grabbed a bite to eat before making his way back to where he said he'd meet the man. The man was already looking to set off, he didn't expect king to show up, but as surprised as he was, he looked a little bit relieved to be having some company on the trip. Gathering the last couple of bits into his carts, he ushered the horses to begin along the pathway leading out of Sparta and along the road into the deep mist that covered these lands. King sat on the back leaning on his right hand bored as the cart slowly trailed along. He'd tried talking to the guy but he was too on edge jumping at his own shadow, so king sat staring out into the nothingness, waiting for something to happen. As time went by he was starting to think that the men were just making up stories to scare each other, old wives tales and all that junk. Slowly king began to nod off, his head was lulling about to fall into a deep sleep when a howl ripped through the mist echoing all around him.

"See... i told you... it's coming!"

The man at the front of the cart sounded scared, panicked, he drew up his crossbow looking around while the horses continued on. King stood now on the back on the cart, listening, waiting. It went quiet, then came another howl, the beast was getting closer. Though there was something that was off. If wasn't anything like a wolf. Then King heard them, the footsteps. Running. Four legs. It was getting louder, the beast was getting closer, but from which direction. King closed his eyes and listened. Waiting, feeling it out, the steps go closer, faster, he could hear the snarl of the beast. But he was waiting for it, the last second. In that moment, it went silent, the steps of the beast stopped, that's when king turned to his right, holding his staff up, it being caught between the jaws of the beast, pushing king back and off the cart through the air. As he is pushed through the air, he spins his body around to his left, pushing his staff around with his right and, throwing the beast around his body, sliding along the ground, his own momentum used against him as king lands on his feet lightly.

"So you're the one they are all worried about ay? You don't seem too bad to me..."

The beast growled again and the man in the cart whipped the horses to move quicker, he wasn't going to wait around for the beast to attack him when he was done with king. King sighed, now he'd have to walk back as he didn't know the way to the next village, and he was looking forwards to seeing it too. He was snapped back to his situation as the beast growled again, for the first time king looked at it properly. The beast was a bit larger than a normal wolf, it's fur on end, it was poised for attack. Its fur a dark blue and yellow in patches, its claws long and it's teeth sharp as he looked on at king staring him down. King looked into the beasts eyes directly which made it hesitate for a moment.

"You don't seem all that bad to me... i bet you're just..."

Before he could finish his sentence the beast made to strike once more, moving forwards towards king, it's mouth opened. King stared at it with an intense glare, his focus on the beast as his chakra flowed around him, the beast stopping in it's tracks, not moving at all. It's fur began to settle, the beast began to cower a little, backing away in it's stance. King now took a step forwards, the beast looked like it was trying to move away, but couldn't, cowering almost. King got close to it, drawing his back back, then placing it on his head stroking him.

"Like i was saying, you don't seem that bad to me boy... you just seem hungry and there aint much to eat around here, i figured that would be the case, that's why i brought this with me"

Pulling his back off his back, king pulled out something wrapped up, it was a bone with meat on it. he placed it on the ground infront of the wolf, stroked his head, backed away one step and released his jutsu. The beast stopped for a second, not knowing what to do. Looking from king to the meat, back to king, it sniffed at it. A few moments later it began to devour it, which made king smile. He was right, the beast was just hungry. King put his bag back on his back, and watched as the beast ate, then turned back toward where the village was, and began to take a few steps. After walking for a bit, he heard the noise behind him. The wolf was following him but not in a stalking away, in a curious way. King stopped and knelt down to eye level with the beast.

"I'm sorry boy, that's alls i had... how about you come with me and i'll find you some more?"

The wolf almost looked like it smiled then skipped forwards a few steps to stand by the side of king as he walked back to the village like a companion. King smiled then held his finger to his mouth for a moment in thought, then like a lightbulb, he had an idea.

"I know... i'm going to call you... Oslo"

And that's the story of how king would come to meet his trusted companion... now how will the spartan's react? Find out next time.

Summary: The bond between king and his new companion.

Making his way back through the mist, king was enjoying the walk. Not that he could see much but it was nice, quiet, and calm, the way he liked it. Throw in some more trees and it would be like his old walks through the fairy kings forest. This thought saddened him, it brought back old memories, old friends, but more so, his failures, where he hadn't been strong enough to protect them all. Now look where he was? Walking through the mist on a strange island with a dog that everyone was scared of, trying to get stronger with a bunch of what he would once of called brutes. Shaking his head he had to snap out of it. They had been good to him, taken him in, trained him, helped him develop his own unique style to get stronger. But, then part of him thought, what would of happened if he didn't beat that guy when he first arrived on the island? He'd of probably died and they would of celebrated just the same that evening at another glorious endeavour. King stopped again, his right hand on his forehead, his head hurting. This wasn't like him. This voice in his head, his own voice, doubting, questioning everything. Where was it coming from. He'd always been confident and carefree for the most part, but something wasn't feeling right. To his side Oslo stopped and made like a whine growl out of concern towards his new companion. Shaking his head, king looked up.

"It's fine, don't worry, probably just a bit tired... lets keep going"

And so they continued on there way, king wasn't sure it was the right way at this point, there was one way to find out, he could use his byakugan, but part of him just didn't want to. He wasn't ready to head back, he just wanted to walk within the mist. Like he was trying to find something, somewhere, or maybe just find himself. Walking would help with this. As he made his way down the path it opened up into a small wooded area. King couldn't remember this area on the way here, though he had to admit, he was so bored he wasn't really paying attention. As he made his ways through the trees Oslo stopped and began to growl towards the trees to the right.

What is it boy? Oh... there's someone there..

King looked out to the side as Oslo's fur stood on edge as a few laughs and sneers emanated from the tree line as a few figures emerged out of the mist. King took a quick look around, there were about 10 of them, slowly surrounding him and Oslo. Bandits maybe, they all had swords and axes, some armor, scars from previous fights. King looked around not phased, he was confident in his own skills.

"Whats a kid like you doing out here? Thinking that mutt can protect you... well... how about you just hand over that pretty looking staff and we will let you on your way...."

King knew it was a life before he'd even finished the sentence. He looked at the armor and weapons they were wearing, all of it was miss matched, stolen for sure, but that's not what convinced him, it was the blood in the nooks and crannies. Like they'd tried to quickly wipe it away but failed to get it all. Some of it looked fresh. If he gave them his staff, he'd be no better off that theprevious owners of that equipment. King decided to play along though. Holding out his staff, he gave it to the man who had spoken to him. He sniggered with a dark grin on his face.

"Wise decision, now boys, get rid of the body..."

They all made to take a step forwards, their weapons raised. Oslo stood ready, his fangs bared, his fur spiked up as he was ready to strike. King wasn't shocked at all, he expected this. He'd infused his staff with chakra and was going to just control it, to hit that gun then spin through the air catching them all off guard, knock them all out and proceed. In that moment Oslo lunged out, striking one man, pushing him backwards through the mist and out of site as his screams grew more distant. Now king stood, he raised his hand to kick into action, but as he did a shock went through him. Not from an attack, or a jutsu, it was something inside him, his very being shook. He fell to the floor on his hands as knees. He felt his own heart beating heavy in his chest, the blood flowing through his veins, he couldn't move, that's when he heard it again, that voice.

"Now now... were you really going to let them off that easy?"

King was stood now, in a black pool of shallow liquid, where was was he? How did he get here? Was this an illusion?

"Wh... whose there.... "

The voice laughed, it was familiar, it was his laugh but sounded, echoey, like it was coming from all around.

"Calm down... this is you... this is what's inside you... this is what you've tried to hide for so long.... this is who you are..."

"What the hell are you talking about!?!?!"

"This darkness, this has always been in your soul. You've tried to fight it, tried to do 'good deeds', trying to push it back and control it if even if you didn't know. But what happens when you put up a dam... the water backs up, it floods the area... it's grown inside of you... built up... and now it's consuming you... right now you're on the floor in a hopeless situation because you could control it... stop lying to yourself..."

King spun around looking for the source of the voice but it just reverberated through the entire area. After a moment, the words ran through his head again. Was it true? Had he really been hiding this all along, fighting against who he really was?

He snapped back to reality now. The men were talking among themselves about what was wrong with king, and that they should just finish him off quickly. King stopped shaking now, standing. His head still facing down, a shadow almost over his face where his eyes looked dark. The men hesitated for a second, then looking at each other they made to move forwards once more. King smiled as they stepped forwards, then a moment later all but one man was stopped in their tracks. Slowly from their bodies, all over slits formed as blood began to poor from various holes, with shocked looks on their faces they fell to the floor as their blood filled the area flooding under king's feet as the life left their eyes.

In that moment, king had released a surge of chakra through his entire body released steel blades all around him, slicing into the men through their armor before they even knew what had hit them. The only one that hadn't been caught was the one who held his staff a few feet back. He stood shaking, dropping the staff, he took one step backwards away from king in fear but tripped over a piece of wood falling back. He hit the floor and spun around ready to make off, to escape in fear, but it was no use, his legs were bound by shackles that pulled him backwards to wards king who held out a hand, controlling the steel. As the shackles pulled him backwards, they spun him around as two more shackles shot up binding his arms pinning him to the ground, holding him in place. One more shackle formed holding his neck.

"p p please don't kill me... i'll do anything..."

King didn't say anything, just a dark smile appeared on his face. He held out his hand and the shackle that bound the man's neck released it's grip as the man gasped for air. But the shackle rose up infront of his face before warping, bending, almost seeming like a liquid before it would suddenly shoot down the man's throat in a fluid state. He tried to scream out but was choking on the steel. it went down, into his body, wrapped around his heart. King laughed before closing his hand crushing the man's heart killing him instantly. Then he withdrew the steel, and all the shackles, drew it onto his body and allowed it to resettle on him in a large light armor giving him a new form as Oslo came over to join him. They both made off into the mist leaving the corpses behind as king grabbed his staff....

(Kōton: Kase) Steel Release: Shackles
Rank: C
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: The user does 2 handseals (Bird+Ram) focusing chakra beneath the opponent, shaping the ground into several (up to 5) shackles that shoot up to grab the enemy. The shackles are linked to chains that remain connected to the ground. Once they grab the opponent, the user can clap his hands, forcefully pulling the shackles and chains to the ground, effectively pinning the opponent to the ground, restrained by the steel chains.
(Koton: Sui Ko) Steel Release: Fluid Steel
Rank: A
Type: Attack/Defense
Range:Short-long
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/a
Description: This is quite a unique version of steel release using precise chakra control to execute it. The user will release their chakra into steel they control and change it's density. Unlike other jutsu this doesn't apply heat to do so, but instead an extreme chakra control while thinking of the flow of water release. It will almost look like mercury which is in it's liquid form and through this jutsu the user will control the steel. They will control it using hand gestures pushing the steel around in a fluid like motion, yet it will still be solid, just controlled like it's a fluid. This makes it easier to trap people, but at the same time this has another use.
Note: Useable 4 times, last 3 turns per use but only works on existing steel the user has made or is devoid of chakra.
Note: Changing the shape, direction and other control of a steel construct takes up another jutsu of the users per turn after the initial use of this.
Note: This does not effect the strengths and weaknesses of steel, it's just advanced shape manipulation.

- Destroy a Large community

Summary: King puts into motion things that can't be undone....

The metal of kings new found armour clanked as he took each step through the woods, though slowly muffled by the mist. He walked with an aura of superiority, step by step, it was as though by walking on it, he was showing the land this was now his land. As he walked along Olso came running back to him through the mist, having followed his sent here. The blood around his mouth showed he'd feasted on his own prey. Now walking side by side with king it was obvious they had a bond beyond that or human understanding. They knew the way of the world. Fight to survive. Though he walked with a purpose, within kings head, the discussion went on, the motivation behind what he was about to do. His body knew it was heading back towards Sparta. But why? Because it was there he'd been shown the true nature of the world. He wasn't alive now because he was a good person, or that he'd done good things, the only reason he was alive is because he'd passed their little trial by combat and bested one of there own. If not he'd just be another forgotten corpse and a tale of how great these brutes really were. That wasn't a mercy, he was treated no better than that of a dog in a dog fight, the winner survives. A cruel world. How is that just? How can they possibly get to decide who lives and who dies. They were no better than Sephiroth. Controlling land through force, judging who is worthy by their own standards, and killing for sport. King would change that.

As he approached the end of the wooded area, he knew it all opened out onto a flat plain before the village of sparta. Rather than make his way across, he stopped. And under his helmet his eyes changed, the veins showed as his passively used the powers of his Byakugan looking far beyond through the mist and to the village. Just as he expected. It was all about fighting. Once again in several locations they were doing the same routine with their swords and shields pretending they were the greatest warriors known to man. But were they? Look how king's fight had started. A sneak attack from out of the mist aiming to kill him. No challenge just trying to catch who they thought was a boy unaware. That was just a bunch of cowards seeking glory in despicable acts. Well it was time to repay the favor.

It was only now, that with his Byakugan, king noticed carts heading towards the village from a couple of directions. The supplies that they gained for the the Spartan's "protection". Really they only supplied the brutes out of fear. Well, they wouldn't have anything to fear for much longer. King held out his hands in the direction of the carts, ones containing vital supplies like fresh water and food. As he did released his chakra within the carts, taking control of the steel bolts and bars that held the wheels together, using his mastery of the element to pull it apart. The carts would drop to the fall grinding to a halt about 30 meters away from the village.

"Now.... time to show them what happens to those who support brutes like these...."

He was enjoying this more than he should. He saw the men from the carts picking themself up of the ground dusting themselves off walking around to try and figure out what had happened talking among themselves. As they did, king controlled the steel to rise up infront of them as they took a step back, confused, panicked. Some fell over in confusion. Then the steel would seemingly shatter into thousands of pieces, floating in the air. They couldn't help but stare at them in marvel, it was like nothing they had ever seen.... and something they would never see again. With a motion of opening his hand out in full, king release the shrapnel of steel all around impaling every single one of them in the same motion, slaughtering 15 men in one instance. Held in place for a moment with the steel in their bodies, the look of shock, horror and disbelief on their face as the life left their eyes. Blood poured all around leaving a scene out of a horror movie. Yet king wasn't done yet. He noticed a tree off to the left and had an idea. Using the blades to lift the bodies, he raised them all and impaled them to the tree... a scene like you'd never seen before... but king enjoyed it....

Hours later, the Spartan's started to notice that their usual supplies hadn't come. It wasn't like them to not be on time and without even so much as a message, they began to wonder what had gone on. Had the people that supplied them thought they could deny the ultimate warriors in such a manor, were they really that foolish? They decided to see what the hold up was and sent out a young boy of 16 who knew the road well to go and find out what the problem was. Within half an hour he returned. White in the face, speechless. He'd seen something that had shook him to the very core. There was blood on him but not his own. What had happened? The alarm was raised, the king made alert and he and his 300 soldiers armed themselves, within 10 minutes they were ready to take on this threat without hesitation, without a doubt, they marched out.

At a steady jog, marching in formation, they quickly covered the ground making to where the carts were, as they came into view, the king held up his fist for the unit to stop. From here, they slowly moved forwards. Shields raised, spears pointed forwards, proceeding with caution. A well organised unit, each man as strong as the last, covering each other's back. The king stopped at the first cart seeing the blood around each one. The rest fanned out around, looking for any trace of what had happened. Off to the left side, one man noted spots of blood leading away. Maybe a survivor to give some indication as to what had happened here. He gathered 4 more men and followed the trail, stopping about 15m along it. His shield lowered, his spear dropping to the floor as he looked up at the ungodly sight before him as the others stopped and did the same. One just about managed to say "over here...we found them"... as the king came over pushing his way forwards looking up. The tree....

They couldn't believe their eyes, the pure brutality of it, who would do such a thing? Who could do such a thing? The looks of horror and shock soon turned to that of anger and wanting revenge. The supplies such as water had been broken from the carts falling apart or the bread and meat had been soaking in blood rendering it all useless. But where would they start looking for answers. The The trail of blood led to the tree, there were no footsteps, to tracks, no leads to go from here?

King watched from the distance as the idiots did exactly what he thought they would. See a problem, and first thing they would do is run in looking for a fight. So predictable. So each to flush them out into the open. By now he was sure they were raging looking to make someone pay for ruining their little system. But they'd have more to worry about than a few dead merchants bringing them stuff. It was time for stage two. Make them suffer, like they had made countless people suffer over the years. How would they like it when what they held dear was torn away from them before their very eyes and there was nothing they could do about it. Well it was time to torment them, make them listen, make them realize the consequences of their actions. With his chakra, King would release his voice so it would be projected from the location of the tree. As he spoke it would reverberate within his helmet giving it a demonic tone, masking his identity.

"Look at you all, gathered here, angry because things didn't go your way... though you aren't angry because you care about these people, or how it will effect their families... no... all's you care about is who dare interrupt your little system where you controlled these peasants through fear and pretend you are gods among men. Yet if they didn't hang here from this tree as corpses... you would of done the same yourselves for them not doing your bidding...."

The men walked around the tree looking for the source of the voice, trying to figure out where it was coming from so they could impale the traitorous bastard who had done this, but to no avail. The voice just emanated around the tree.

"And now you look for answers so you can stab at it and call it glory and pretend you're the greatest. Pathetic. Though, what you should be concerned about, isn't where i am, but what reason could i have for luring you all out here? An ambush? That would be too obvious and i know you probably have your methods of countering that... no... i plan to bring the weight of your sits down on you with the full wrath of all those you ever hurt in the name of sport... honor.... fun... bare witness to the ultimate concequences...."

They all looked around confused, not knowing what was to come, they got into formation, shields raised, spears at the ready on all sides looking for the threat. But none came, what the hell was going on. After a few moments, one of the soldiers spoke...

"W...what's that....?"

King remained where he was, a dark smile on his face as he watched the 300 play into his hands, they gathered around the tree waiting for the fight to come to them. Typical. Their first thought was a head on fight. No, this was going to be more than a simple battle, this was going to make them suffer, like all those they had made suffer before under their traditions of fighting and only the strong survive. Well now it was time to put and end to that, and show them how weak they truly were. No matter how organized they were, how much they trained, they still became predictable and now alls they could do is sit and watch as king put the final stage of his plan into action. Gathering his chakra for the final moments, king brought his hands together for a unique handseal before slamming his hands on the ground. As he slammed his hands on the ground, the sky above sparta began to change, darken. The clouds spiraled inwards as large portal formed above the village... what came next was the true horror...

The Spartans turned to look back towards their homes, at first they couldn't see much, but the mist was being pulled away from them, up towards the sky as it spiraled inwards on itself. At the epicenter a large black portal appeared, growing larger and larger covering the majority of the village. From it something came out. A giant red orb, no a meteor. Plummeting down with intense speed as fire covered it due to the friction from its descent. The sheer size of it left them all frozen in fear, shock, they couldn't believe it. Following it's trajectory they looked down. There was nothing they could do. In an earth shattering explosion the meteor hit the center of Sparta with such force that it sent a flaming shock wave all throughout the village, wiping 90% of it out in a matter of moments. There was nothing they could do, what could they have done against something like that, without warning. The king pushed through them, tears down his face, anger showing through his entire being as his body shaked with rage as he made his way back to village, clutching his spear and sword so tight.

"Those bastards......."

He was so distraught, his wife had been there, his son, everyone, his people. Who could of done this. He was determined to find out and make their lives hell. Never letting them rest from his eternal torment. The rest of the warriors followed. Pushing on as they got back to the edge of the village. Hot rocks lay around from the impact as it was just a mass of rubble. Some has survived on the outskirts now trying to look for survivors. Bodies crushed under rocks. Blood everywhere. Corpses split in two. Charred bodies. The scene was horrific. The retinue of warriors finally arrived at the main crater, raising this spears and swords, they got into formation and made there way down the back towards the object that was now lay at the heart of where their village had been. As they were 15 meters away they saw it had started to cool. As the red glow faded, what was like was a start material. Something they had seen once before, but where. Looking on, the king realized before anyone... where he'd seen this material before... realizing who was missing... putting pieces together.....

"King...."

At that very moment king stood smiling. His work here was almost done. He wanted them to realize it was he who had done it before he put an end to their misery. When he saw them look at the giant steel orb. He knew it was time to put his final plans into action. Now it was time to show them the power of a true demon. Releasing his chakra into the orb of steel, it would begin to unfold, the giant arm would come out of it crushing 15 men before they even knew what had happened. As the rest stood in shock, another arm unfolded on the other side, crushing 10 more. Falling back in disbelief and fear, the retinue was losing hope. No amount of training could prepare them for this. The entire orb unfolded into a giant demon that let out a bellowing roar that shook the very air. Seeing spartans drop their weapons and lose hope is exactly what king wanted for their final moments. He wanted to crush everything that they were proud of, destroy who they were as people and show them that their cruel ways had come back to haunt them.

The demon stomped on several more, punched more, crushed, destroying, wiping out every last one of them. The king tried to rally a few men but it was in vain. They couldn't stand up to the might of the demon before them. But king decided to end it in the best way he knew how. As they went to make their counter attack. The demon stopped for a minute and it smiled down on them, before breaking down into an infinite number for blades. Holding in the air for a single moment, before raining down on every last part of the village, slaughtering every last one of them. There would be no escape, no defense, they would all die a horrible death with no hope in the world. As king stood in the woods still watching, out of breath now, he smiled and said one word as he turned away....

"Karma...."

Jutsu Used in this story:
(Dōjutsu: Byakugan) Eye Technique: The All Seeing White Eye
Type:
Supplementary

[Koton: Varian's hougyo ] - Steel release: Varians Demise
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Rank: Forbidden
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 50
Damage: 90
Description: This is one of steel release's strongest attacks, the user will start by either performing a single hand seal, slamming their hands on the ground or striking the ground with their weapon to initiated the jutsu. From here a large portal like the sticky mud drop technique will open up in the sky and a large meteor glowing red will come crashing down into the target location causing destruction and devastation on impact. The projectile is actually made of steel that is super heated to the point of glowing red in parts. Fire being one of the elements means this doesn't require y/y to maintain. Though what sets aside this from other techniques, is the meteor will unfold, into what can only be described as demon giant glowing red. The sheer size of this demon would be the same size as the earth release rock golum jutsu. Though this is made of steel making it much harder and the heat radiating from it is what gives it its true power. Due to the sheer size and skill to maintain this demon, the user will remain in the position they were in when they cast it, so if they clapped their hands together, they would have to hold their hands together, if they stabbed their sword into the ground they would remain with holding their sword in the ground to maintain control. The initial crash of the meteor would release a shockwave up to mid range around the impact point knocking all away. From here, when the demon goes to strike each of it's strikes would be S rank in power, with destructive impact and surging heat. The user can use this demon as a source of steel release techniques but they will retain their own rank just be a hotter steel. If the user moves from their position the demon will become a statue and cool down within two turns. While controlling this demon the user can perform jutsu using elements that make up steel release but don't require movement such as full body surges etc.

Note: Useable Once
Note: Once the jutsu ends the exhaustion of controlling it will wash over the user as it seems like they were holding their breath trying to catch it again. Due to this they will lose two ranks to their base speed for two turns.
Note: Lasts up to 3 turns. Each strike counts as a move per turn, controlling the titan takes up a move per turn leaving only on jutsu for the user to defend themselves even though they wont be a move.
Note: No jutsu above A rank for two turns after this has ended

[koton: Kudaketa hōyō] - Steel Release: Shattered Embrace
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: This is a technique that can be used in two ways. It can be used on existing steel techniques or being releasing from the ground. What this does is, the user will release their chakra into existing steel they control or one devoid of chakra (old steel jutsu they have perviously made or another shinbobi, this doesn't include weapons and such shinobi might carry) , and in doing so will take control of the steel and cause it to break down into Hundreds of tiny blades that look like small dragon scales (1inch diameter) of steel near on instantly like the shattering of glass and from their control the blades through their hand gestures or through their weapon, these blades are extremely sharp.. These blades will move in a large swamp or smaller swarms depending on how the user wishes to control them using them to strike what they want. If they chose to use it from the ground they will form the blades of steel in the ground and then cause them to shoot up from within the ground in a huge swarm to attack which they wish. As long as the user controls these blades they will only be able to use steel and elements that make up steel and it will take up one of their three moves per turn. Not only this but the technique will always be A rank, even if they use this to break down one of their S rank techniques.

Note: Usable once every two turns, being able to control the blades for up to 3 turns.
Note: Using this from the ground would require a handseal to form.
Note: No jutsu above S rank while active

Genji would continue forwards. Wanting to keep a low profile, the young shinobi would utilize Hiding in Camouflage to conceal his scent and make him invisible.

(Meisaigakure no Jutsu) - Hiding with Camouflage Technique
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 30 (-10 per turn active)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This is a ninja escape technique that allows the user after performing the Tiger hand seal to control how light is reflected around their body with chakra inflections. The technique also erases the user's scent and shadow, and is usable on any terrain, making it ideal not only for covert maneuvers but also offensive strikes. Perceiving the user's position is possible only for ninja who are astute enough to observe minute variations within their surrounding environment, such as distortions of air currents in the immediate vicinity or distinguishing sounds, i.e. footsteps etc. However, the usefulness of this ability can be entirely negated by those with special vision or sensory skills. The Second Tsuchikage, Mū's mastery of this technique helped earn him the moniker "Non-Person" seemingly having neither form nor chakra while the technique was active. Thus, he could not be sensed through traditional means.

Note: Technique lasts a total of 3 turns
