due to my lightning bolts speed it would take sometime to be diverted to my direction again , so i see the lightning bolt is losing it's speed to be sent backwords to my direction , i make two handseals in a flash thanks to my cursed seal of heaven and send a powerful wind ball that hits the lightning completely overpowering it and continuing to head at your direction at a weaker state , as the wind heads at you i emenate a blinding light from my body to you blinding you and making you fall into my genjutsu where you will see a my hawk is formed back again and it's heading at you to rip you apart with it's claws.

I agree with Lili, but I'll wait till I get some other senseis/judges opinion on the matter before I make my final verdict.

If you used ur sharingan to see gats chakra spread in the air, maybe yes, then it would have worked. But the lightning doesn't really slow down and then head towards you, it shoots right back at you right after leaving ur hand.

I also agree with Liliana. But under the pretense since you had your Sharingan Active, we could technically say you see the Lightning Chakra ill the air and thats why you reacted with the wind although you didnt say that in your reply. also the chakra would have to reach to Long-Range before it could take over your technique. If you wouldve described using the Sharingan too see Gats chakra come towards you rather then saying itd take time to turn around (Which it wouldn't because Lightning is a energy not a Solid, speed and velocity and such mean nothing to it when dealing with this..as its simply reversed back to you or manipulated as the user wills it. ) then you may have successfully countered. The verdict can go either way but its Leaning towards unsuccessful counter imo.

I would have to say is that Crow counter is wrong on seeing how he didn't use his sharingan to its potential of seeing the chakra in the air. So if he did use his sharingan to see the chakra in the air then his counter would be vaild.

I think it is the same thing all the rest said.

One of the basic advantages of lightning release is that its really fast, i don't believe Crow could have enough time to execute a Wind release technique against it. A proper counter in my opinion should have been to minimize the damage to carry on, plain recklessness
