"Inspired I am. The way you took the explosive force from the alternating frequencies and applied it in a more practical and "hands-on" approach was very interesting. I shall keep the general principle of your process, of applying the specific effects from the standard list of Sound Techniques to other potential fields, in mind for the future. Thank you."

Dean then explained the next technique, how it involved more of an investment into it's generation and sustainment, requiring the user to gather Sound Release Chakra in their feet, and releasing it in tandem with the users steps, particularly in a running motion. Dean also decided to use a Clone for this technique, to avoid the damage that would be potentially inflicted upon himself. Son as Dean rode atop his balloon of death, his Clone insulted the Witches sense of fashion and style... A fatal mistake.

"An imitation wearing a tracksuit is questioning and insulting my clothing and style? This is unacceptable!! People who wear those tacky abominations are usually far better at insulting people who wear normal article's of clothing. I must silence this man to prevent further damage to the coalition of track-suited individuals' reputation. 'Tis the only responsible thing to do in this scenario."

Morrigan then did as the Jutsu required and gathered Chakra in the soles of her feet, like one would do while walking on water, or walls and the like. As she then changed the Nature of this Chakra to Sound, she made sure not to repeat her previous mistake of forgetting the correct frequency of the Sound Release Chakra. Dean said it was low freq, like the majority of the Technique's so far in their training, so Morrigan adjusted the frequency accordingly. By this time the Clone had gained a fair distance from the Witch, probably because people in tracksuits are so much better at running than regular people, so once she was sure she had gathered the correct type and quantity of Chakra, Morrigan started running at quick pace, to catch up so-to-speak. With every step, as her feet hit the ground, Morrigan released wave after wave of Sound Release Chakra in the form of Waves that travelled through the ground, almost instantaneously catching up with the clone and inflicting what Sound Release inflicts best. Internal damage. Not immediately visible, after a dozen meters or so, the Clone began to feel internal distress, as the expected damage from the Jutsu caught up with him, causing major damage to his internal organs and the like. After a few moments of being bombarded with the invisible waves of force, the Clone topples over from loss of balance, before the Clone Jutsu is finally dispersed due to the internal trauma the Jutsu causes. Satisfied that her wardrobe's honour had been redeemed, Morrigan returned to Dean, still seated atop his somehow flying Summoning companion.

"Despite the rather large gap in our distance, this technique almost immediately caught up with him as soon as I started to perform it, which is both handy and powerful. And I must say, branching off from generic destructive/ explosive forms of sound waves to something as basic as running is both surprising and refreshing. The very action alone is so subtle and common that one may not realize it until it's too late, however, as you're clearly demonstrating, if you sever your connection with the ground whether or not you are aware of the effects of this Jutsu, this technique is literally useless. Additionally, the fact that it requires you to constantly gather and release Chakra, and thus means your Chakra must be focussed on performing this Jutsu, carries a higher risk than most, unless you specialize in Close Quarters Combat and are used to reacting to danger in short periods of time. However it's covert and subtle nature more than makes it worth the risk, wouldn't you say so?"

It hovers, it doesn't fly U_U.

Watching Morrigan go bat shit over the fact that her clothing was insulted, had Dean at the brink of laughing. He kept it to himself though, who knows, Morrigan might use one of the techniques on him, instead of his clones. Dean grabbed another scroll from his bag, and in a swift motion, threw it towards Morrigan as she explained.

Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A (60 if contact with the ground remains)
Description: The user charges Ototon chakra into their feet as they run, releasing it as each foot hits the earth and makes sound. As each steps sound off, low frequency waves are released, each wave causing an immense vibration to propagate through the ground and into any enemy, making their bodies lose balance as the waves collide with the target repeatedly. As the waves continue to hit the target, the vibrations increase and cause internal pain, almost as if each wave is drilling into the target's body, causing the target to also become nauseous from the continuous waves. Despite its danger, the technique can easily be defended by simply severing ones contact with the ground.

"Yes, indeed. It's fairly useful when combined with a Genjutsu before hand. Anyway, speaking of close combat, the next technique focuses just on that! However, I want you to analyze it for me. You've gotten quite far, so I believe you are capable of understanding the concept behind it. Its similar to the previous Taijutsu related sound technique we covered..only with more power, and after effects."

Dean threw another scroll towards Morrigan.

"By the way, you hungry yet? >,>"

Rank: A
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: 60
Description: Focusing sound chakra into ones limbs, the user is able to deliver massive taijutsu attacks that can shatter anything on contact, specially solid defenses. When used directly against an enemy, the blows damage the soft tissues of the target if used with a low frequency sound or the targets bones, if used with a high frequency sound. The vibrations don't produce any external effect, unlike what happens with (Ototon: Oto no Ken) - Sound Release: Sonic Fist technique, instead propagating into whatever is touched through direct contact. The user is free in which moves he will perform and can use virtually any stance he knows. However, because it produces no externalization of the vibrations, as the limbs are only infused with sound chakra and the vibrations happen in what is hit, the user cannot attack or defend from things that would otherwise hurt him like bladed weapons, etc.

Toh-may-toe, toh-mah-toe. :p

"Oh thank goodness for this respite from, ugh... Actual physical effort. So, t'is another Taijutsu related technique? I'm sure that oaf we call an acquaintance will fall in love with it, and subsequently be dumped by it. Don't ask how, just know that it will happen... Anyway, you only want my analysis of this one, yes? Fine, I shall do my best."

As Morrigan caught the scroll containing the Jutsu and gave it a quick glance, Dean asked if she was hungry yet. The question was simple and to the point, and yet Morrigan couldn't help but ignore the true meaning of the question with a light hearted response.

"Why yes, I am. For knowledge. And I shall never sate this hunger for more." (•̀ᴗ•́)و

As she laughed aloud, her tone and intent were made clear, that she was only jesting. And as she gave the scroll a further read-through, she pondered the technique's major points of interest.

"Well, that is very interesting. For starters this technique allows you to choose between low and high frequency vibrations, depending on which parts of the body you want to affect, either soft tissue or bone structures respectively. I assume this is because different opponent's require different methods. For example, the low frequency variant is rather useful for opponents like the Houzuki, who can liquefy at will, meaning there would be no bones to target, but a lot more soft tissue to affect. On the other hand, the high frequency variant would be perfect for opponents like the Kaguya, whom have much denser (and thus vulnerable and more easily affected by Sound Waves travelling through them) and stronger bone formations, meaning shattering them would be far more effective than regular humans, though then again, I hear they can actually remove entire bone formations, with absolutely no negative repercussions on the body as they can just grow them back, so that may not be such a good idea... Anyway, moving on. I like how it is not restricted to any specific stance or attack, allowing creative freedom to reign and the user to attack how they see fit. However... That last note... That no effects are externally present or visible... That could be a problem. Since there is nothing to see, an attack infused by this appears, for all intents and purposes, like an ordinary strike, but at the same time, as the effects do not physically propagate any further than whatever you are directly focusing your attack on, that may leave you open to counter-attacks and the like, just like any regular form of Taijutsu. However this is not just limited to living beings, as the technique specifically mentions solid defences as another potential target, so this Jutsu has even more versatility. I'm sure I can find a way to expand this further (OOC: Spoiler Alert: I already have.), but I hope that was a sufficient enough analysis of the Technique, and its usages.

Now... How about we head back into town and see what a few thousand Ryo can buy us, shall we?"

With that, Morrigan held up the previously pilfered purse and slowly proceeded to walk back to town.

"... Unless Cubozoa Sushi is on the menu?"

I won't lie to you, I never thought about the Hozuki and Kaguya thing, props to that, mate. Sorry for the late reply, just moved to a new town.

She did as good as usual. Not only was she good though, but she mentioned something Dean hadn't thought about before. Looking at certain clans, this technique could be useful against any, either less or more dense, depending on their structure. Nonetheless, Dean threw the scroll towards her, and laughed at her remark about the Box Jellyfish.

"Of course, after this training, we can head to the nearest bar, and buy a few drinks. Unfortunately, the Boxes are off the menu >,>."

"Its indeed a very good Sound technique, and I haven't used it yet, but I will..soon. Anyway, the next technique at hand. A more supplementary based technique, where you will focus your Sound chakra to your throat, and emit any type of Sound. This includes, but is not limited to, screaming, roaring, whistling, and even speaking. This creates a high frequency wave in the opponent's ear, which remains there and manifests as a building ringing sound. This disrupts the opponent's hearing, their thinking, their balance and even their ability to mold chakra, over the course of 8 turns. If the technique has taken effect, every technique used by the opponent, does -5 damage (so a B rank would do 35 damage instead of 40 etc). While the chakra cost of each of their techniques would cost +10 more. Very useful, and a nice way to start the fight, giving the opponent a handicap from the start. I want you to analyze this one."

Dean throws another scroll towards Morrigan.

Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user, gathering their sound chakra into their throat and emitting a sound (anything from a simply whistle to speaking or screaming, etc), creates a high frequency wave that targets a foe's ear, causing this portion of sound to remain in their opponents' ears, manifesting as a building ringing sound. The ringing continues to grow as time progresses, originally disrupting how a person hears hampering their ability to think clearly. From that point, it starts to mess with their balance until they become incredibly disorientated, and unable to mold chakra properly due to this.
Note: Lasts 8 turns and reduces damage of the jutsu used against the user by -5 until this effect wears off while increasing the chakra cost of every technique the enemy uses by +10

Oh, well, thanks for the props. I'm happy I was able point something new out, even if I only thought about those examples by chance. xD

As for your moving, you don't have to apologize. I saw in your vm's that you mentioned you were moving, so I decided to just wait rather than become a nuisance by sending reminders and all that boring stuff. I know how much of a pain moving can be, so I'm cool with waiting as long as you need to get things sorted. :D

As Morrigan finished up her analysis, Dean mentioned how they could go for a few drinks, possibly for a bite to eat, however Dean's Box Jellyfish were clearly made off-limits.

"Oh? Shame. They say the more exotic and deadly the animal, the more delicious the food that can be made from them, but I digress..."

After describing it's key features, Dean then instructed Morrigan to analyse the next technique, before giving her another scroll. Reading through the technique, Morrigan agreed with Dean that this Jutsu was best utilized at the start of a fight, where it could do more potential damage to the target.

"Seems simple enough. You start the technique like you would "Whisper to the Canines", gathering Chakra within your vocals chords before utilizing them in whatever way you wish, whether subtly with a whistle, or directly with a scream. The choice is yours. From there it almost blurs the line between Ninjutsu and Genjutsu, with persistent effects that are formed as a result of the Sound being "trapped" in the target's ear. This kind of indirect hindering Sound Jutsu is rather handy, as it can severely reduce the combat efficiency of the afflicted person, with no clear way of preventing or removing it. (OOC: Nathan has a CJ that decreases the target's CQC effectiveness with a slap to the ear, so it sounds like this concept is kind of common.) It even states that the constant ringing can cause issues with balance and even messes with the opponent's Chakra Control, making their attacks cost more Chakra, and become less effective. I wonder, does that mean that if you use the exact same technique, would that mean yours over-powers the opponent's Jutsu? Even though they would be, for all intents and purposes, identical, yours would technically be the stronger of the two, no? The only other thing that is worthy of note, at least in my opinion, is how the "ringing" apparently increases in intensity as time progresses. Would this, perchance, act like the aforementioned "Whisper to the Canines" technique, drowning out other sounds until the target can't hear anything else? Aside from those, rather minor questions, that's all I can really say about this Jutsu for now. However, the way it can be used to increase the cost and decrease the effectiveness of the target's Techniques like that, all without diverting the users attention or requiring Chakra to sustain it, is both extremely unique and unbelievably handy. Definitely a must-have if you want to gain the upper hand quickly, no matter the opponent or their abilities."

With her analysis out of the way, Morrigan awaited Dean's response while wondering how comfortable it would be on top of one of those Jellyfish...

Dean intently listened once more. Morrigan always had something interesting to add to her analysis, something of value, and that's exactly why Dean gave her some techniques to analyze, instead of the usual method. Still seated on the Box, hovering above ground, Dean answered her questions.

"Technically, yes. Though, a 5 chakra difference is less than some boosts people have these days, and would almost be insignificant. Also, I'd say it wouldn't drown out the sounds from outside completely, but rather, hinder the opponent. A great technique though."

Dean then looked through his small bag, aiming to find the next technique.

"Oooh, that one...seems like I'll need a clone..and some soundproofing >_<."

He mumbled to himself. This was one of the more powerful techniques, that could render most opponent's at the mercy of the user. However, it had to be used right, at the most opportune time.

"Now, charge your Sound chakra to your hands, and slam them together. This releases what sounds like cymbals smashing against each other. A high pitch, high frequency follows suit, and instantly affects those who hear it (anyone on the field). As it resonates in the opponent's ear, it causes muscle paralysis, and also causes the opponent's ear's to bleed, though it doesn't cause any damage. The paralysis lasts a single turn, however, you can't use an sound for two turns afterwards. I think my clone will be a good target."

Dean creates a clone, as he jumps off the Box. The Box disperses as the clone begins to run in the opposite direction as Morrigan. Dean on the other hand, creates a bubble of Sound around himself, which would protect him from imminent danger D: (Dumb Hole say what)

Dumb Hole eh? Can you believe was the inspiration? :D

"I suppose numbers that small are rather trivial, aren't they? And I understand, and agree completely. It is a respectable technique nonetheless."

As Dean muttered to himself about the need for a clone and, oddly enough, soundproofing, Morrigan wondered if such a thing could be achieved. Most, if not all, Sound Release Jutsu seemed nigh unstoppable after all... And yet, as Dean descended from atop his Summoning companion, created a Clone, and described the technique, it seemed as though that it was in fact possible, as not a single trace of fear was present on his face, despite the potential lethality the next technique could possess.

"This one sounds interesting, and yet you've only described it in, what I can only assume is, the simplest of ways... Let's test this out then, shall we?"

Morrigan initiated the technique the same way she had done many times before, by gathering and manipulating her Chakra to produce Sound Release Chakra, which she gathered in her palms, as the technique required. As Dean had already told Morrigan that the technique produced a "high-frequency" sound, she already knew the required freq for the Jutsu, so she also adjusted her Sound Chakra accordingly. From there she simply slammed her hands together, pretending she was holding a pair of cymbals in her hands as she did so. It made the resulting sound so much more easily comprehended, because as her palms made contact they produced a loud, sharp noise that filled the air. Even though the original was safe from the effects of the sound, the Clone, upon hearing the sound produced by the Jutsu, almost immediately fell victim to paralysis, as the sound waves from the Jutsu resonated within the Clone's ear and caused muscular paralysis, in addition to bleeding from the ears as a result. Upon witnessing the effects of the Jutsu, and watching the Clone suffer as it was, temporarily, rendered immobile, Morrigan drew a Kunai and threw it at the Clone, ending it's minor discomfort...

"Well, that was... Oh, fie to being ambiguous, that was amazing!! Yet again we have something so unsuspecting as a simple action that can be performed at the drop of a hat, and yet the effects of which are immediately present and last long enough for the user to perform a veritable banquet of actions before the target even begins to recover from said initial action. Not only this, but you can perform this on multiple persons at the same time, with such speed and range that performing it is synonymous with declaring victory? I almost feel like we should go no further, as I fear what lies ahead... But I'm sure I can brave the further reaches of Sound... Just as soon as I recover from this damn side-effect of not being able to perform Sound Release for a brief period after performing this Jutsu."

Little did Morrigan know that Dean couldn't hear a single word she was saying, as the "soundproofing" he was protected by was so absolute that almost no sounds from outside could be heard within, and vice-versa, making her previous statements about the technique almost void, unless Dean was particularly skilled at reading the lips of one with an extendedly archaic vocabulary...

Dean could see the excitement in Morrigan's face, as she analyzed the technique. He couldn't hear anything though, and only when he knew it was safe, did he drop the barrier of Sound. A scroll flew through the air towards the wicked witch, he knew she did it perfectly as the clone was easily disposed after the paralysis took effect.

Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user charges sound chakra into each of their hands and slams them together, creating a sound similar to two heavy golden cymbals crashing together. As the hands slam together, it releases a high pitched, high frequency sound wave, resonating in the enemies ear, and causing muscle paralysis upon hearing it. As the loud sound happens, it creates an echoing amongst the field, trapping any who hear it under paralysis, causing slight pain to them, causing their ear drums to bleed. Paralysis lasts one turn but the user cannot use any other sound techniques for 2 turns after using it.

"You never cease to amaze me, even if I couldn't hear what you had to say about the technique. I hope it was insightful as ever. Nonetheless, this brings us to the S ranks. Or as I call them, the Savage ones. The first one is a Genjutsu, and you know I like it when you analyze the Genjutsu, since performing it is kinda, eh. Carefully read the scroll, and tell me a bit about the technique, I'll find something to suffer, I mean, something you can perform it on."

Dean threw the scroll, and started ransacking his own bag, looking for something in particular.

(Ototon Genjutsu: Banshī no te de gōmon no seiki) Sound Release Illusionary Art: A Century of Torture at the Hands of a Banshee
Type: Offensive
Rank: S-Rank
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 40
Damage: N/A
Description: The most powerful sound illusion to be created, A Century of Torture at the Hands of a Banshee is a deviant technique, capable of rendering even the most powerful of enemies riddled with fear. The user will focus his sound chakra into a sound he will produce and which will carry the illusion and trigger it on any enemy that hears it. The illusion triggered is simple but surprisingly effective in all its simplicity: pain. Anyone who hears the sound will feel unimaginable amounts of pain all over their body to such an extent that they may even vomit and lose control of their chakra flow. Upon facing such pain, the enemy will lose control over his body and spasm as they curl to try and alleviate the pain. The longer the target is caught in the illusion the more severe the effect is. The illusion however is just that: an illusion. The pain isn't real or associated with any bodily aspect or damage. The user must, however, sustain the inducing sound and focus into his chakra flow (not being able to mold chakra at the same time) to sustain the effects of the illusion as when the sound ends, the enemy stops feeling the pain and recovers virtually immediately. Sounds that can trigger the illusion and carry it can vary from a whistle (very effective as it can be sustained for a lengthy time and be controlled), scream (less lengthy but easier to perform), music (if the user has a musical instrument), etc. If the sound is momentary, however, it will not induce an effective effect.
Note: usable once every 4 turns
Note: while sustaining the sound, the user cannot attack or move from his position, risking otherwise disturbing the sound he's producing and ending the illusion.

I can't believe the length of the name of that Jutsu. It's so long it's stretching the page. xD

And I can see why you call the S-Ranks savage... O__O

All that work, and Dean yet could not even hear it? Oh well, perhaps it was for the best. Morrigan did seem rather "chipper" as she described the technique. The entire scenario would have appeared almost alien as Morrigan gleefully spoke about the technique and it's unquestionable power, instead of her usually calm and collected self. Nevertheless, Dean was more than confident she performed at, or around, expectation, so they continued. And as she read through this new Illusory Technique, she couldn't help but form a crooked smile.

"Well now, isn't this interesting. It seems the overzealous joy I expended on that previous Jutsu should have been saved for this technique, as it is clearly far more deserving of it. I shall endeavour to contain myself as I break this Technique down. *Ahem* For starters it is performed identically to techniques such as the Echo Assault Skill, Whisper to the Canines, etc, by creating a sound, most commonly performed via the vocal chords, infused with your Chakra. Simple enough, at least for Sound Release. From there this technique uses that Sound as a means of inducing a Genjutsu and a very painful one by the sound of it. If what this scroll states is true then the pain of this illusion can cause effects that range from extreme full-bodily pain, that causes its victims to spasm uncontrollably and even curl up to help alleviate the effects, vomit and even lose control over their Chakra. If the victim is unable to shake off the Genjutsu they will potentially be incapable of physically moving or gathering, manipulating or performing anything related to Chakra, or to put it another way, they will be incapable of doing absolutely anything but writhe in pain as the illusion tears them apart. However, just as the victim is incapable of doing anything, so too is the user, as they must remain wholly focussed on performing the illusion because if they do not the illusion will fail, causing the target to almost recover almost immediately. This is because the illusion does absolutely no physical damage whatsoever to the target, the pain is simply the result of being caught within the Genjutsu. Some Genjutsu induce sleep, or paralysis, others create a visual illusion. This Genjutsu simply induces an immense level of pain throughout the entire body, but, as mentioned before, it's not real pain, so it wouldn't be able to break the victim out of the illusion, otherwise the technique would be failed from the start, which is, of course, absurd. That seems to be everything of note, except perhaps the usage limit. I would say this is due to the strain on your vocal chords from performing a "sustained" Sound Release technique, but since this can be performed with things like musical instruments, it's probably just because the high amount of Chakra required, and the fact you must remain concentrated on the illusion to keep it active."

As Morrigan finished up her analysis, she noticed Dean rummaging through his bag.

"I wonder, have you ran out of booze, or has your booze ran out on you?" (¬‿¬)

Edited it cause it was irritating me xD

A flawless analysis. Morrigan understood the techniques, quite well at this point. So good, that she could even pick up the similarities between the techniques, and how they were performed. Something Dean thought of, but never gave much mind. He loved that illusion, despite its obvious repercussions and restrictions. Finally, the last bottle of booze was discovered in his old dusty bag, filled with scrolls and training methods. A quick sip was all that was needed. They now had to conclude the training, and he knew that only about three techniques remained. However, these techniques were quite...destructive. He already thought about contacting Mamaragan >_>. No, not yet.

"Ahaha, no. This is the last bottle though ~_~. Anyway, good job at that. Its an amazing illusion, and with the right combination, nigh impossible to beat. Now, let's move on to the more precise technique, and the last of the variation of the Echo Assault Skill, techniques. You must be tired of reading that name, yeah? At least the scroll is written in a good font."

A simple stomp of his foot was all that was needed. Dean created three targets made of Earth, entirely with detail of a normal target, like they were standing a target practice room.

"Now, gather some Sound chakra in your throat and inhale. You will then exhale in the form of a scream, roar or yell, and release outwards a massive shock wave of low frequency, high amplitude sound. Depending on the range, 180º to 90º, the technique is short ranged. 90º to 45º, the technique is mid-range and from 5º to 45º the technique is long ranged. So there are your targets, fire away!"

Dean says, as he now stands upright, full of energy. Was this booze, or a power drink, he thought.

"I agree, t'is definitely a powerful Illusion. I shall probably create my own combination with this illusion at it's center, merely as a precaution. If I have to resort to this nigh unstoppable illusion it most likely means I believe I have no chance without it, and that shall be a dark day indeed..."

Grim foreshadowing aside, Morrigan watched as Dean created a trio of humanoid statues, with what appeared to be excruciating detail. Astounded by the attention to detail for something that would ultimately be blasted into a pile of rubble by powerful sound waves, Morrigan nodded at Dean as he explained the mechanics of this particular variation on, what seemed to be, the most common skill related to Sound.

"Sounds like the only real difference is the choice to reduce the angle to increase the range, specifically for pin-point accuracy at longer ranges, or a wider field at shorter ranges. Not that I'm complaining, I'm sure it comes in handy. I was just expecting, well, "more" from the last in this family of Offensive Sound Release Jutsu. Well, here goes nothing..."

Inhaling a large amount of air, Morrigan gathered Chakra in her vocal chords and adjusted and manipulated it appropriately, creating Sound Release Chakra that possessed a Low Frequency and High Amplitude, just like the rest of the Echo Assault Skill family. Wishing to test out the "newest" option available, Morrigan gathered the Chakra and infused it into her vocal chords, then manipulated the angle the Jutsu would affect, making it as precise as possible (5 degree's, just for the lols). Confident she had done it correctly, she let loose a very short and sharp scream, releasing a Sound Wave that was more akin to a . The Sound Wave flew through the air at an amazing speed, aimed at the first Statue of the three, the precise shock wave tore through the statue's head, causing it to violently explode in a display of artistic beauty and militaristic might. The statue was still standing, minus it's head of course, and it seemed Morrigan rather enjoyed watching the practice dummies head explode, as she was practically glowing with joy.

"I think that's an improvement, what do you think? At an angle that acute and precise, the shock wave looked almost identical to that Wind Release technique that causes thin, sharp cuts, don't you think so? I believe it's called, um, 'Vaccuum Sphere'. The A-Ranked Offensive Jutsu? Oh well, moving on."

Morrigan then repeated this process, closing the distance between herself and the second statue. Gathering her Chakra, then manipulating it to possess the qualities she desired, this time she used the Mid Ranged variant of the technique, blasting the "Nidaime Chōzō" (Lit. Second Statue) with a more openly directed shock wave. The Jutsu tore through the entire statue, with the less direct, but still focussed, vibrations breaking the statue down to rubble. Walking up and sifting through the rubble with her foot, Morrigan didn't speak a word, she only gave a confirming "Hmph", followed by a nod, as she progressed to the final statue. This time she was performing the technique within punching distance, so she prepared her Chakra accordingly. Gathering and manipulating it, as she had done several times before, Morrigan prepared to unleash the shock waves at "danger close" range. As she loosed her final scream, releasing a shock wave that affected a 180 degree area around herself, the statue was visibly affected, being pushed back to the point the base of the statue snapped, but as the shock wave was less concentrated than the longer ranged variants, that's all it really managed. With an increase to the Jutsu's effective range came a less concentrated shock wave, and thus less "impact" behind it. With one statue plagiarising the Venus De Milo (albeit not directly), the next perfectly replicating "real" rubble and the last doing it's best impression of a "I've fallen and can't get up" advert, Morrigan returned to Dean.

"T'is a thing of beauty, how you can cause so much destruction with naught but your own voice. Sound Release truly is terrifying... Anyway, I believe these statues each represent the pinnacle of this Jutsu's capabilities. I especially like the look of the first one. I think I shall name it... 'Botched Lobotomy'. Has a nice ring to it, don't you think so?"

She was full of dark jokes. Maybe it was because she was finishing off? Dean wasn't too sure, perhaps it was just her way of being excited. He didn't even know what he did when he finished training in the rare skill, if Dean correctly recalled, his first use of it in battle was against none other than the snake himself, Ichimaru Gin. The Raikage, of those days. Man, what had happened to Gin anyway? Dean's thoughts wandered, as Morrigan experimented the ranges with the statues, each to perfection. Her mastery of the element was showing, even before learning everything about it. Dean nodded in agreement, and merely laughed at her comment. He knew he had to do something for the next technique was a glorious one, if one uses it..oneself. However, a mere bystander, no. That'd be devastating. A scroll is thrown towards her, one of the last, his bag now became a bit lighter.

Rank: S
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: 80
Description: This is a much greater and skilled version of the (Ototon: Hibiki Rendan no Jutsu) - Sound Release: Echo Assault Skill technique in which the user gathers his sound chakra into his throat as he inhales afterwards exhaling as he screams, yells or roars. The resulting effect is a massive shockwave of low frequency, high amplitude destructive sound that levels anything in its path. The biggest different is that the user can control the area of affect of the technique, depending on the range he targets and the angle of the sound waves his sound waves take. 180º to 90º, the technique is Short Ranged. 90º to 45º, the technique is Mid-Range and from 5º to 45º the technique is Long Ranged. If used within a water source it receives +20 damage.
Note: Usable once every 3 turns

"It does indeed resemble that Wind technique. Must be where the Wind aspect comes in. That name has a nice ring to it, maybe I'll name my next Sound technique that, if I ever create another masterpiece, of course."

Dean scratched his head, as he looked at the environment, and looked at Morrigan.

"We're going to have to uh..re-locate."

Some blood smeared onto his Box Jellyfish tattoo, and after a puff of smoke, a massive Box Jellyfish appeared before them. Baron Samedi, was his name. An oldish looking Box, an odd smell came with him, and a light mist as well. Usually, this mist would instantly trigger a Genjutsu, however, Morrigan and Dean both being Nekura, were unaffected.

"Ugh, summoning me to this shit hole! God Dean, Isabella should hear of this >_>."

"Samedi, old friend! Take us to a barren part of the Archipelago, yeah? Need to test some destructive stuff?"

"Hmm, only if I get to watch your sexy friend zheahhahaha!"

Dean barely agreed, and a puff of smoke transported both him and Morrigan to the Archipelago, albeit, a more barren part of it. Beautiful it was, thick corals and dark colored rocks covered the plains, with a sandy beach like vibe. Dean remembered it vividly, where he and Urek trained with Isabella. Oh, how much has happened in the time being. Nonetheless, Dean remembered that it was a training session and showed the Baron where to hover, so he could be out of harm's way.

"Okay, now, this technique requires you to gather a large amount of Sound chakra, and perform a stomping action with one of your legs. As you do so, you will release all this Sound chakra, in the form of a low frequency wave, that travels all around you (omni-directional). This creates an "explosion" of sorts, as the ground all around you cracks open, all the way to Mid range. Not only does it prevent anything from coming towards you via the underground style, but it even causes the air itself to vibrate up to that range as well, making it a great offense and defense. Honestly one of my more favorite techniques, and my most used Sound technique as well. Its quite destructive though, so I'll just wait with Samedi over there. Waaaaaaay over there."

Dean quickly dashed towards Samedi.

"OH, HANDLE THESE GUYS!!!"

He screamed out as he created four clones. One went underground, and the other three all ran in different directions in order to almost surround her.

"Her accent is so se-"

"Samedi >_>."

Off-topic, and I'm not sure if you know anyway, but does that Summon have anything to do with the from Grimm? I rewatched the series recently, and the name of the Summon and the laugh you used are literally identical to the character from the end of the shows 2nd season. xD

As Dean tossed one of the last scrolls of their training, Morrigan noticed he was becoming more and more relieved. Either the alcohol was kicking in, or a heavy burden had been removed from him. Probably the latter, as Morrigan remembered he had been carrying an ungodly amount of scrolls in that bag of his, all because of her training. Before she could say thanks, Dean showed interest in the name she randomly produced for a future technique...

"Damn!! I should have said ™ while I had the chance..."

Dean then took a look at the surroundings, then back at Morrigan, before noting they would have to move. Was the next technique truly that destructive? Morrigan knew that Sound Release Jutsu had a wide range and area of effect, but they were nowhere near the revelry of the nearby town, so either the destruction this next technique wrought was unfathomable, or Dean just felt like a change of scenery, or just wanted to impose authority and feel special for a while. For whatever reason they had to relocate, Morrigan complied. But as Dean summoned another one of his Animal Companions, who made a comment about "watching" Morrigan, she knew that she would come to regret this decision to comply. And as quickly as the giant Jellyfish appeared, they had disappeared from the quaint, rural locale the two Shinobi had spent the majority of their training together at, and arrived in a far more remote area. Concerned about the trip back, Morrigan posited a question to Dean.

"And just how far are have you taken us? I feel like an "Archipelago" is probably the furthest thing from the small town we began this training at. And while I appreciate you bringing me to such a... Postcard-prepped milieu, you do know that I left my companion back in the middle of nowhere, yes? He would, without a doubt, last no longer than a day without me. I can picture him now, trying to roast a boulder for dinner. Although... On the other hand, I could use this predicament as an excuse for a vacation, and teach that lazy sod a thing or two about independence... Decisions, decisions..."

Subconsciously weighing the life of her companion against the opportunity for some peace and quiet, Morrigan listened to Dean's description of the next Jutsu, which stressed the importance of why they had to relocate in the first place, as the technique had a very destructive effect on the environment. It seemed like a waste, coming to such a beautiful landscape that was untouched by the influence of humanity, only to perform a technique that would no doubt violently scar the surroundings. Nevertheless, Morrigan wasn't given much of a choice. Informed of how the Jutsu worked, Morrigan was then surrounded by clones from almost every side, as well as one that disappeared into the ground, and given the order to "handle" them. Noticing the same key words in this next Jutsu as the previous ones, Morrigan gathered Sound Release Chakra in her foot. Then, by manipulating the form of this Chakra to create low freq vibrations within the Sound Release Chakra, she raised her leg into the air and slammed it into the ground with all the strength she could muster. And as her foot made with contact with the ground Morrigan released the gathered Chakra into the surrounding area, causing a tremendous shock wave, that was more akin to an explosion, to ripple through the air and ground around herself. The shock wave tore into the clones surrounding Morrigan, causing them to be blasted back and ultimately dissipate, due to the force the shock wave exerted. They were the lucky ones, as they were only hit with the force of a shock wave. The clone that was utilizing Ninjutsu to traverse through the ground wasn't so lucky. As the ground cracked and changed thanks to the effort from a single stomping motion, the earth around the Clone shifted and readjusted, crushing him in a manner most violent and painful. Upon hearing the subterranean Clone cry out in pain as he met his end, Morrigan walked back to Dean and his floating Summoning companion.

"That was almost exactly like the omnidirectional variants of the Echo Assault skill, but I suppose I'm being blunt. The differences between this Jutsu and the others is the increase in power and the way it is physically initiated, as rather than a vocalization it's performed through a foot motion. I guess it can be handy to have a few options for an omnidirectional shock wave at your disposal, especially when they can cover such wide areas in a moments notice. The added benefit of splitting the ground apart and attacking underground targets is a rather nice touch as well, and the technique clearly has enough raw power and range to let it stand out from other similar techniques. So, what's next? I can't imagine there being very many left, considering it feels like we've gone through all of the familiar variations for all the types of Sound Release techniques in the previous ranks. Not that I am bored or anything, in fact, this is all rather fun. I should try and get away from that oaf more often..."

With a sarcastic chuckle, Morrigan held her hand out, waiting for the scroll that contained the raw information for the technique she had just performed, all the while staring at the Baron, wondering what his abilities were.

You'll have to ask the Queen, Lili, since she made 'em xD And the laugh was just how I imagined Samedi to be tbh.

Pure destruction. He wouldn't mess with her now, as she was, perhaps better than him at this Sound thing. He was her superior in the Nekura clan, but that was pretty much it. She was obviously a powerful shinobi on her own, though Dean couldn't help but wonder what it would have been like if he had trained the Uchiha instead? He'd probably have plucked out his eyes by now >_>. Damn Uchiha. Nonetheless, the scroll was thrown into Morrigan's hand with grace, and Dean pulled out the last scroll from his dusty bag. All that remained now, were a bunch of old bottles, a map and his cloak, that he had taken off somewhere during training.

Rank: S
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage: 80
Description: The user stomps his foot on the ground and releases a massive amount of sound chakra, amplifying the "stomp" sound which is released as a wave of low frequency sound through the ground and also through the air, all around. This omni directional sound "explosion" causes the ground to crack open in an omnidirectional area around the user up to mid range and pushes the air all around through massive sound vibrations. These are able to stop any incoming attack (following logic and elemental interactions) but also disable and stop any attack or thing moving or traveling through the ground.

"Great job, Morrigan. The last technique is a Taijustu oriented one. You must be tired after all this destruction."

Dean says, as he creates two chairs made out of Earth. They were close to a beach like area and the sun was shining. Maybe Morrigan needed to sit down a bit. After all, Dean was a lady's man.

"I'll just let you analyze the last one for me, yeah? Samedi can get the drinks in the mean time."

Dean threw the last scroll, and simply waited for Morrigan's last answer. He would miss training her, she was quite awesome, to put it lightly.

"Why do I have to get the drinks >_>."

Rank: S
Type: Supplementary/Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage Points: 80
Description: A technique that stands as a combination of both the (Ototon: Oto no Ken) - Sound Release: Sonic Fist and the (Ototon: Shinsei) - Sound Release: Divinity. The user will gather massive amounts of chakra into his limbs and deliver a single, powerful blow into a given target. Not only does the chakra engulf the chosen limb in an aura of vibrations and destructive low frequency sound waves but also, upon making contact with the target, channels the sound into the target, causing vibrations to ripple through the target. What happens is a massive shockwave that blasts outwards on contact, causing massive destruction all around up to the limits of Short-range, producing a small crater (if it hit an opponent, he is sent backwards into long range). This effect is amplified by the sound vibrations infiltrated into the target which ripple through it and cause destruction from within it. The damage is higher on softer tissue which is severely bruised. The technique is highly effective again liquids and highly dense solids.

"Yes, I do feel rather drained, especially after using such a destructive technique on a landscape as beautiful as this. Such heinous and pointless acts tire we who preserve beauty."

Morrigan then sat in the seat that was provided for her, how kind of Dean to make a place for them to sit, and with such a gorgeous view. As drinks were mentioned, Morrigan couldn't help but ask for the best, and would accept no less.

"I'll take something that is outrageously and unbelievably exotic, contains at least 3 rare fruits, has an extravagantly long-winded name and looks so flamboyant that drinking it should be a crime in at least 4 of the 5 Great Nations. Oh, and if you have any of those tiny umbrella's, keep them the hell away from my drink, because those things are stupid and gimmicky and everybody knows it!!"

Upon finishing her commanding of the Baron, Morrigan lay back and read through the scroll. Yet another Taijutsu related Sound Release Jutsu that the Uchiha would go head-over-heels for. But he was of little concern at the moment. As this looked to be the final technique in the list for Sound Release, Morrigan wanted to make the most of it.

"In the most general terms, it takes the external effects of the Sonic Fist technique, and adds the manipulability of the Divinity technique, specifically it's power to target either soft tissues or bone formations. The technique states that it vibrates at a lower frequency, which means if it follows the example set in Divinity means it would only really impact soft tissue. But since this technique also states that the vibrations are channelled throughout the target's body, it comes as no surprise that these low frequency vibrations would cause damage to the target's entire body as a whole, not just specifically targeting soft tissues or bones. Then we come to the scale for this Jutsu's power, as it states that this technique releases enough power to blast a foe back to, at least, 10-15m. You don't have to be a scientific genius to deduce that is a lot of force being released at one instant. Another little titbit of information I find interesting is that it says that this Jutsu can be used to create a crater instead, if you don't hit a person. This crater can be as large as having a radius of effect of up to 5m, so it can perhaps be used to "persuade" an incoming opponent from engaging in close quarters combat, or even to feint strength you do not possess, allowing you to gain an upper hand psychologically, at least in theory. That's about it, as the only thing left I can say is that this technique packs, as my comrade would put it, 'one hell of a wallop'."

With her work done, Morrigan sank into the chair, relaxing after a long session of work. She soon snapped out of this, as she remembered something of dire importance.

"*Gasp* Where... Is my drink?"

Dean could only laugh at Morrigan's request for the ridiculous sounding drink, but he had told Samedi something similar in secret. Hopefully he makes it back in time before she gets angry. Dean wasn't sure if he was ready to see the Witch of the Wilds in all her fury. He kept her happy by smiling and nodding, as she spoke of the technique. Not that she was wrong though, her analysis' were always on point, and he was proud to have been the one to train her in this rare, yet powerful skill. The last scroll was flicked towards Morrigan.

"Amazing, what a finish. It's indeed a great technique, and I'd like to meet this Uchiha and see how strong he is. I know you're strong..seen it myself. Anyway, lemme just get into contact with Samedi."

Dean summoned forth a small larvae of Box Jellyfish, normally used to communicate.

"Where the hell are yo-"

"Yoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Your drink, m'lady! Zhehahaha."

Samedi swiftly barges in, and delivers a wonderfully colored drink, bombarded with a variety of flavors and exquisite aromas that would make even Kage's jealous. A special brew, made here in the Archipelago. Not even Dean had drank it before, since he was deemed unworthy.

"NO..no goddamn way. Where is mine, Samedi?"

"You ain't getting shit."

Dean then plucked a bottle from his own bag, and drank in despair.

"Damn Boxes.."

As the last scroll was given to her, Morrigan promptly pocketed it as she listened to Dean complimenting her on finishing Sound, although she was expecting something more... Well, "more" for the finale, but the Jutsu she had access to now were more than ample. And as Dean had already displayed, there is always room for improvement, even in the most unlikely of ways. And as Dean inquired about Morrigan's Uchiha companion, she could only wonder, why? Dean did elect to teach his fellow Nekura over the Uchiha. Did this tie in to the Nekura's conviction to eradicate every last one of them from the Earth? Was this a test of loyalty, or something of the sort? Morrigan let her mind race, until the Baron arrived with her drink. Trying to avoid a most painful death as she took the drink from the tentacles of the giant Jellyfish, before donning a smile and nodding in appreciation. Then she looked over at Dean, pondering her previous thoughts, but finally came to the conclusion that Dean didn't mean any harm to Shayde, and probably just wanted to see if he was "Sound" material. Though Morrigan decided to stay cautious. The Nekura's Dogma concerning descendants of the Rikudō Sennin were very clear after all... Morrigan placed her drink on the sandy beach, and walked a few feet away, to facilitate her, rather roundabout, method of bringing Shayde to the unknown Archipelago.

"It should take but a moment. I do hope the Baron, and whomever else frequents this Archipelago, don't mind a slight intrusion. Well... Another intrusion, seeing as I don't believe I should be here, no matter how lovely a venue it is for training..."

And as quickly as Dean and Morrigan arrived on the beautiful shores of the island paradise, so too did one of Shayde's animal companions, but only a simple scout, as Morrigan was more accustomed to transforming into a wolf than Summoning one...

"Can you do me a favour young one and bring him here. It's not an urgent matter, but one that needs his attention all the same."

With a courteous nod the wolf turned around and performed its own Summoning, Reverse Summoning Shayde from the wilderness at which he was heartlessly left to fend for himself to the Archipelago in an instant. A cloud of smoke engulfed the area, but was quickly blown away by the sea's salty breeze, slowly revealing a silhouette. And out of this smoke walked the Uchiha Dean wished to "size up". Coughing uncontrollably as he did so, he walked straight up to Morrigan and spoke directly to her.

"What did I tell you about Summoning me with no damn warning?! Summons aren't just a quick and easy way to hop around the world you know! Where the hell are we anywa..?"

At that moment, Shayde noticed Dean, relaxing in his chair, drinking from his bottle of booze, just a few feet away.

"Oh, okay, I see how it is. Shrug me off and say you'll teach her some cool new Jutsu, but instead the two of you come to some... Exotic beach in the middle of nowhere to relax and drink some funky looking drinks, then when it's time to get some work done you bring me back? No way! No way in hell am I doing anyth- OH SHUT UP YOU BLITHERING IDIOT!! My training's already complete, but Dean doesn't have the time to teach us both, so he's been supplying me with all the necessary information and notes, so that I can instruct you. I brought you here so Dean could "see what you're made of". Right now you're clearly displaying that you're made of atrocious manners."

"So... You mean... This isn't... Ah shit. Look... Sorry for losing it there, I just-"

"I said shut up. As soon as Dean "tests" you, the sooner we can get under way. Understand?"

"Kay. And here I thought I this was all a set-up, and you two were gonna rip my eyes out or something. Hahahaha..."

Despite reassurance from Morrigan, Shayde believed he had a 5% chance of leaving the island alive, or at least with his eyes intact and still connected to his head...

"Ripping out eyes sounds like some good fun to me."

Dean says, as he stands up from his chair, after having had quite a few drinks while Morrigan and this odd Uchiha were bickering. Dean looked at the man, his eyes stern and focused. Could this Uchiha be capable of handling the power of Sound, or would he just go mad like those that made his clan famous. Hm, Morrigan seemed irritated by him, but she would have cooked him already if she didn't like him at all. Dean thought about testing him real quick, and indicated with his eyes to Morrigan that he was going to.

"So, Shayde, Morrigan has spoken quite a bit about you. Why should I trust you with the skills so rare like Sound release, and let Morrigan share all those secrets with you? It took some time for me to train her, and I am not sure if you can handle it. Or can you?"

Dean knew that he probably knew all about the Nekura clan, and their hate for the Uchiha. Perhaps Dean would make an exception, just this once, for Morrigan. Though it depended on his answer.

Dean's statement, that he thought tearing out eyes was "fun", didn't surprise or frighten Shayde as much as it did infuriate him. And as Dean rose from his chair, Shayde made this abundantly clear, as he clenched his fist and spoke in a forcefully reserved tone.

"It may sound like fun to you, but when I hear stories of how my own Brothers and Sisters have their eyes torn out and worn as some sick form of trophy, or when I hear those same Clansmen are killing one another, just to gain access to "more power" or "spare parts" to replace the eyes they lost... It makes me sick to think that I could, one day, end up on either side of that spectrum... Either in a maddening pursuit for power, or to try and replace my own stolen or defiled eye's. But hey, at least you Nekura act like you have a legit reason to hunt down the Uchiha, and not just a superiority complex wrapped up in some cheap excuse..."

Shayde then gave a quick glance over to Morrigan, then immediately ceased his opinion on the subject, as she was giving him a rather stern, bored look.

"...But I think I've gone on long enough."

In an attempt to calm himself down while Dean was asking, what could very well be, the most important question of the training, Shayde proceeded to draw, light and smoke a cigarette. He let his mind empty all thoughts of bodily mutilation and organ harvesting and focused on the task at hand. Convincing one of his Clan's natural enemies that he was indeed worthy of learning one of the rarer and more powerful "Pseudo" Elements. Whispering the first sentence under his breath, he tried to do just that.

"Just my lucky day... Okay, I guess if I try and bullshit you on this one you'll just turn me into a vegetable, so I guess my only real option is to be honest. If you're asking if I can "handle it" from a practical perspective, I definitely can. I specialize in Shape and Nature Manipulation, so it shouldn't be too difficult to control once I give it the old Academy try. If you're asking from an ethical point of view, whether or not I'll go mad from power and just abuse the Element, you don't have to worry there either. I'm more "direct" in my approach than hanging back and blasting my target with sounds. To be honest, I didn't even really set out to get Sound, yet here I am. But my true goals are a lot higher than just manipulating sonic vibrations. *Cough* Yin-Yang *Cough* In the end when it comes down to why I personally want Sound, I guess, and I know how clichéd this sounds, but... I want to protect the people I care about, and to do that I need to get stronger. Strong enough to fight any opponent and whatever abilities they may or may not have."

Shayde then pulled out the scroll containing the information for the "Inner Sonar Skill", to Morrigan's shock and surprise. How and when he pilfered it was irrelevant, all that mattered was how easy he made it look like he "acquired" the training scroll, and how much of a reaction it produced from the Wily Witch.

"Plus, this looks like it could come in handy if you decide I'm not worth training, and decide to have some "good fun" with me..."

Shayde then extended the scroll to Dean with his right hand in a manner similar to a handshake, with a brazen smile on his face, fully aware that being within the same Country as a Nekura was an immediate hazard to one's health, making this gesture tantamount to suicide considering his lineage. If Dean wished to rid himself of one more piece of Uchiha "scum", he had the perfect opportunity to do so. Only he and his fellow Nekura were present, and only Dean knew their exact location, making Shayde's gesture a ballsy, yet gift-wrapped opportunity for his own murder.

Dean listened intently as the Uchiha spoke. He wasn't like the previous Uchiha that Dean had met. A good guy perhaps, based on his moral stand point. How he could himself involved with Morrigan, Dean could only wonder. However, after his small speech, Dean looked around, looked at Morrigan, and then at Samedi before he spoke.

"Well, that was interesting. I'd talk some crap about the Uchiha, but it is an Uchiha who owns this place after all. The name Isabella Uchiha might ring a bell >_>. Anyway, I trust Morrigan and I'll be able to keep an eye on her. You, not so much. However, by association, if she can keep up with you, and doesn't kill you herself, who am I to do it. Learn what you can from Morrigan, all the secrets and what not of the skill, however, I must tell you now.. I'll let Morrigan summon me, and I will use Keigoku on you. It's nasty, trust me."

Dean took a large sip from his bottle after speaking.
