Weapon user as in Meister? Yes. We are defiantly running short on Meisters. U_U

I'm not sure. I believe they should make a third season but if they did they would have to come up with a new reason for the story line.
In season 1 it was all mainly about Medusa. Season 2 it was mainly the Kishin.
Since they have defeated the Kishin, they are going to have to come up with a new enemy. U_U

There is still the medusa's servants (wolf, frog, mouse)
and arachnide servants (chainsaw guy, mosquito)
don't forget about the witch queen and the rest of the witches

there is countless possibilities

True. But they still need to make a story line for how those become main enemies. They can't just throw them back into the field and say a new enemy has surfaced. They need an intro. U_U

Making a single episode for an anime can take days-weeks. First you have to make the character movements and then you have to use advanced animation systems to bring the characters into a more 3D look. Then after that theres voice over, editing, soundtracks, and a lot more.
It takes lots of work and effort to make one episode. Let alone a whole season.
So it will be awhile before they can release a season three. U_U
