[Raiton] Souji-senpai teaches me the ways of lightning

Jugram notices the kunai heading directly toward him and immediately forms the Ox hand seal and focuses his raiton chakra to his palms. He sticks both hands out and creates a large lightning wall. Immediately when the kunai come in contact with it they cease movement and fall to the ground.

Well Souji-senpai you pretty much listed out the advantages above. Firstly you can use this against any taijutsu user who would come into close range and since it is so quick you can easily catch them off guard with it. Paralyzing a taijutsu user is, well any ninja really, gives you a huge advantage over them. The jutsu itself can block projectiles up to B-Rank and it can also block doton projectiles up to A-rank. This is assuming the shape and size of the jutsu itself is allowing for it to work as a successful counter. Of course one needs to be careful as it wouldn't take a very strong C-ranked fuuton to negate this technique.

For the next technique Jugram reminded himself of the previous waves he has studied. However this time he shaped it into a dome. With his raiton chakra he formed a dome covering his head and body and launched it forward at his senpai as he came in for his roundhouse kick.

This is great because unlike other waves, the technique itself is larger in area. If launched correctly the dome can cover an entire body causing some pretty bad burns and some paralysis. The best part about this, unlike the previous jutsu, it can be used in an instant. And since it is a dome it can almost be used as a way to block out taijutsu users, similar to the wall from above since it is dome shaped.

Souji creates a Shadow Clone that stands up close and personal, almost sniffing Jugram's L'Oreal hair :snick:

"Alright, for this next jutsu, I want you to beat up my clone with some free-form taijutsu. Be detailed! Once you've completed that, generate lightning chakra around your fist and create a sphere of lightning. The moment you punch the clone with this, it'll create a lightning explosion, finishing him off. Badass in general, and you don't have to perform taijutsu beforehand, but I feel it's the best way to set up for this technique."

Jugram spun around on his left foot to face the clone. The spin was so fast his L'Oreal Model Hair was able to slap the clone in the face and inflict massive damage causing blood to seep from the cuts it had left. Even though it was a clone Jugram's hair was too glorious for it to disperse and as such proceeded to engage in a merciless beating of the filthy casual clone that had almost just sniffed his godlike hair.

With his bare fists he engaged the clone. He punched him in the gut first causing the clone to rock back from the impact. Then with a sharp movement of his head he once again whipped the clone diagonally down from the left shoulder to the right hip bone. This gutted the clone causing fatal damage. However thankfully once again the clone did not disperse. To finish him Jugram decided to use his Senpai's jutsu (sadly he could not unleash his hair's bankai). With this lightning enveloped his fist and he proceeded to punch the clone straight across the face in a left to right motion causing him to finally disperse.

Filthy ****ing casuals NEVER can smell my hair :|. Well senpai this technique is great for fighting up close and personal in taijutsu. It will empower your hits and cause a paralysis on impact. It can also be used to smash through earth since it has impact force from the fist.

For the next technique Jugram raised his hand to the sky and released his raiton chakra causing dark clouds to form and unleash bolts of lightning on the ground. These lightning bolts targeted his senpai's clones causing them to immediately disperse.

This technique is great for targeting your enemy or his clones specifically. Or anything really. Since you can pick your targets you can really gain a precision advantage here making it very difficult for your opponent to move around a lot. The lightning strikes are extremely fast as well making them very difficult to dodge.

The main disadvantage is that this technique requires you to constantly maintain it so unless you have a clone you won't be able to use any other jutsu.

Description: After doing the Rabbit → Dog → Boar → Ram → Rat hand seals, the user generates a large amount of lightning from their hands, which can then be either released in an unfocused manner or passed through conductive materials to improve the electrical power of the technique, namely in conjunction with Water Techniques. In fact, certain users have showed that its possible to, if the user has the ability to mold both Water and Lightning chakras at the same time (for example, Darui who has Storm Release), unleash this particular technique at the same time as they exhale/spit some water technique (which needs to consist of a stream of water), combining both in a seemingly consecutive move. Other ninjas will need to use a clone or an ally for the same effect.

Jugram weaves the Ram → Boar → Dog → Bird → Hare and sends his raiton chakra into the ground raising 4 pillars around the shadow clone. Suddenly the shadow clone is electrocuted and instantly disperses.

Well...with that technique there are a few advantages. It will surround your enemy making it more difficult for them to escape the technique. The technique also happens from the ground so it won't ever come directly at them. So as long as they don't have a dojutsu or sensory they will have a hard time sensing what is going to happen. Additionally to them being surrounded they will be paralyzed if the lightning strikes them directly.

To use this in a combination I will intend to make this a move that manipulates my opponent's actions. I will use it to force them to move elsewhere, such as down below in the earth. If this happens I can use Swamp of the Underworld to crush my target while he is under the earth.

Jugram then began to weave the Rabbit → Dog → Boar → Ram → Rat hand seals. Soon lightning materialized on his hand. He drew a shuriken from his pouch with a wire attached to it and threw it at the clone. The shuriken wrapped around his target and bound him. Jugram then released the raiton through the wire in the channeled release type allowing for it to reach a long range in a precise quick motion down the wire and electrocuting the clone.

Well to start this technique is great for suitons obviously. I could use it with water whip or a much larger scale suiton. Really any suiton that I can channel it into :|. I could also just blast it as an unfocused wave of lightning at my opponent if I so wish. I can even use shuriken, kunai, my own sword, etc to channel the raiton to increase its precision.

If you spread out the damage in an unfocused wave you lose out on the potency unless it all hits the target anyway. However with a very focused medium, such as a kunai, sword, or small scale water jutsu you can easily gain the full benefit of the combination.

Jugram focused his raiton chakra into his hands and slammed his palm on the ground. The chakra was immediately sent to the clone's location and three tendrils rose up from the ground made of pure lightning. They struck at the clone and caused it to instantly disperse.

Well the first obvious advantage to this is that you can use it at multiple angles. This is great for manipulating enemy movements and cornering them. Or manipulating them to use a technique/element that you want them to use. The second advantage to this is that it can be used to attack multiple targets, like other clones. Additionally one can use the technique as a current in the ground to stop other techniques that travel underground from moving, such as mokuton, doton, or others.

A few disadvantages. The technique would require you to stream it and as such you can't do much else in terms of using chakra. You can compensate this with the use of a clone.

For a combination I could use a suiton and then use this technique from behind. I could use a projectile suiton that is a large mass of water and have the tendrils connect with the water to conduct through it. Or I could create a water clone to do the same allowing greater speed with the combination.

For the next jutsu I'll raise my hands in the air and aim them at your clone. I'll send my raiton chakra into my palms and release them at the clone. This creates a very fast moving bolt of lightning

This is a very simple technique. Its a bolt of lightning. Yay cause we haven't seen that before :|. Well the advantages is that it requires no hand seals and is a fast bolt of lightning that can break through rock.

The disadvantages...well...it is a projectile and easy to defend against. So one would want to use this in conjunction with a suiton or large scale katon to disguise it.

Damn bolts :|.

For the next technique I'll once again send raiton chakra to my palms :|. This will allow me to create a lightning whip. Since the whi is made of my lightning I won't be shocked by it. This is create for using it in conjunction with a suiton if they are covered in water. Additionally you can use it for fast motions and can be angled with your hand easily. It requires no hand seals.

To use this offensively I could easily whip my opponent in specifically targeted areas. Such as their hands. If I strike their hands they will experience the pain of being electrocuted and as an added effect will feel paralysis and numbness in the hands. This will make it very difficult for them to form hand seals for techniques that require it. Defensively I could use it to smash through incoming doton projectiles.

Jugram channels his raiton chakra into his hand and releases it. Using his shape manipulation he forms it into the shape of a lightning hound and creates a leash of lightning from his hand to the hound.

Well with this one can use the hound to enter close range. Keeping the user safe. The hound can be controlled as well and attack from multiple angles and as such one could combine freeform with it to pressure the enemy. Attacking from multiple angles can be a huge advantage and with a clone present on the field one can easily weave combinations quickly to kill the enemy by cornering them with the hound.

There are some pretty basic disadvantages tied with this technique. It can be stopped with fuuton (super obvious :|). It also requires constant chakra so you can't use other techniques with it unless you have a clone on the field to weave the techniques for you.

Jugram focuses his raiton chakra in his mouth and opens it to begin forming a spear of lightning with his shape manipulation. He launches it unleashing a blazing fast flash of lightning.

This technique is great. No handseals, relatively low chakra, multiple targets. It has got everything anyone could want. I am going to be a big fan of this technique. Honestly there are no real disadvantages to this technique. It is an extremely quick technique as it is lightning and would make a great combination with a suiton or a large scale katon to conceal your position.

To answer your question: four spears will have a D-Rank power. Eight spears will have E-rank power. Of course all combined they return to B-rank. But even when separated they are still lightning and have great power. This technique also has impact power so it can break through doton jutsu.

For the last technique Jugram molded his raiton chakra next to him. Using shape transformation he released the raiton chakra and began shaping a raiton clone. He focused on his appearance to allow it to look identical to him. He was extra sure to focus on his L'Oreal Model Hair.

Well with clones it is important to remember that you can have a maximum of four clones on the field at any time and they can only be used three times per fight. Your chakra is divided evenly among them and when they are dispersed and killed. Some clones are able to use techniques as well. Such as this clone. It can use raiton up to B-rank as long as it doesn't fully expend its chakra. Umm. I think I got it all. I'm not too versed with clones yet :|.

I suppose my main question is this. If you make 1 clone at the beginning of the fight (say you have 1,800 chakra) does the clone gain 900 chakra and you lose 900 chakra? It seems a bit extreme if that is the case :|

This technique is create for weaving combinations with suiton and raiton. You can have the clone use raiton techniques while you use suiton. Additionally you can have the clone use raiton while you use large scale katon to disguise the lightning that would quickly follow up. The clone can also be used to attack from different angles and what not as well to pressure the enemy.

Jugram channels his chakra into his new crescent sword. It was strange. He had a sword. He even used it on his senpai to slice his chest open. Yet he had forgotten already :|? With the raiton chakra channeled into it the blade began to glow with lightning as its vibrations increased causing the cutting power and attack power to increase as well. He wasn't sure why. It just felt right. And it sure as hell felt good. If this was a manga that would have been 2 chapters worth of gold. He'd have made millions. Success right there. When he came within a meter of the dummy he maneuvered his sword so his right arm was reaching across his chest to the upper left. Once he reached the dummy he used his forward momentum from the sprint and slashed down in a left to right slash across the dummy's chest. The cutting power of the sword allowed him to cut clean through the dummy.

Great technique all around. You can use it to cut through regular swords and rock within the appropriate rank. And of course it boosts damage to kenjutsu techniques.

A few questions about this technique. I assume it causes a paralysis on contact? Also can it be used to channel lightning out of it (i.e. stabbing the ground)?

For the next technique Jugram channels his raiton chakra into his hands and aims them toward the sky. He releases the chakra bringing a bolt of lightning down on the zombified Hitsugaya dummy.

It is a great and simple raiton. It can pretty much hit anywhere on a battlefield and it will hit very quickly because it is a raiton. Using that speed as an advantage one can easily use it to manipulate an opponent's movements or possible counter techniques. And of course the paralysis that all raitons have is excellent.

The biggest disadvantage I see with this is that you have to throw your hands up in the air (haha yes song punny pun pun get it out of your system) and shoot lightning. It gives the opponent time to recognize the technique and counter properly. This can be used to your advantage though so they pick a technique (most likely wind) to counter it.

Jugram takes two windmill shuriken and channels his raiton chakra into them forming a tether between him and the shuriken. He then throws them at the accursed newly proclaimed Solo King. They pin the dummy down and, if it had been a living creature, would have paralyzed it.

So this is great for pinning someone down and numbing them quickly. Of course many raitons have the same effect so this isn't all that special. But being able to channel them into shuriken is great. The shuriken also would have increased cutting power due to the raiton. This would be jutsu freeform.

So a good combination would be a suiton that could connect with the shuriken to have the lightning conduct through them. One could also use a direct and well placed katon to burn the opponent. Katon would be best as the opponent's next logical step would be to use a fuuton. This would allow the two to combine and form a very powerful and deadly katon.

To answer your questions, yes, it can shock and paralyze, but the cutting power is so strong that on contact, I'd be more worried about losing a limb than being shocked Lol

Jugram channeled his raiton chakra into his two palms and stuck them out in front of him. As the clone entered short range of him he released the chakra as a purple barrier almost that caused the clone to get knocked back as it came into contact with the wall of lightning. The clone dispersed.

Great technique for a quick stop and push back on taijutsu users who are coming straight at you. It requires no hand seals and makes for a very quick counter. The technique can also stop doton jutsu that are coming in (keeping in mind rank of the jutsu) and push them back as well.

The range is limited of course. So you can't use this to go on the offensive against an opponent unless they are close up with you. And despite it being an offensively only technique it has a few defensive uses as well.

Jugram then began focusing his chakra once again into his hands and releases it creating a plasma barrier in front of him. Jugram ran straight into two dummies knocking them back. He then released the wave of lightning at a third dummy.

Cool name :T_T:. So the technique is cool for a few reasons. You can move with it and that gives quite a bit of versatility. This can be used to stop taijutsu users and the what not. Basically the same as above. And it lasts longer but requires a little more chakra per turn.

For disadvantages. Its a streaming technique. So you can't do much else without a clone or an ally. And of course there is the slightly higher chakra cost. But it isn't that bad. The main disadvantage with this technique that I see is this: a lot of opponents will have mastered much higher ranked techniques as well. Most likely completing their training. So while this technique is cool and all the barrier itself would be easily torn through by someone who has mastered an element.

Jugram focuses his raiton chakra once again into his hand and releases a lightning orb into the air above his senpai.

The rain of lightning rained down on him. However to avoid killing his senpai he had it rain down a foot away from him in that radius.

Cool technique. Great for killing off clones it seems. Multiple targets and it rains down so it makes avoiding it annoying. Running out to the side or pushing yourself to the side won't work since it rains in a radius. So its a pretty good technique.

The disadvantages to this are as such. Individual bolts don't hold much strength. The more you make the weaker each one is. But all together they are B-rank. So it will be more of a distraction jutsu than anything else. But that is great nonetheless.

Description: This jutsu allows the user to generate non-focused electricity from their body. It can be used as an omnidirectional attack or be channeled through weapons, the ground or other conductive mediums. Because the electricity isn't focused, it doesn't kill on contact, instead it has great numbing and paralyzing effects. To channel Nagashi through a medium, the user needs to focus the technique into one of his hands which will then be put in contact with the medium and can only choose to either do a widespread attack throughout his whole body or to channel it into something; he cannot achieve both usages at the same time. Despite not having much destructive or damaging properties, Nagashi can be used to destroy low rank earthen and wooden structures and even negate chakra on the ground to stop high ranked earth and wood techniques. It has also been noted that Lightning Specialists that have mastered Lightning to the highest degree can resist total paralyzation, although they still feel the pain and numbing effects.
Note: Paralyzation lasts 1 turn if sucessful but is ineffective against bios who have a primary Lightning Specialty

Jugram weaves the Monkey, Ox, Boar, Tiger handseals and channels raiton chakra in his hand. With this a disk of lightning forms from his shape manipulation of the raiton chakra. It spins incredibly fast and has insane cutting power.

So first off they are fast. They're lightning so they are lightning fast :|. And they have incredible cutting and slicing power. A direct hit to an opponent's waste and they can be cut clean open and in half.

One question about this. Can you use this technique to create a single disk? Or is it multiple only? I assume you have some degree of control?

Okay so chidori. Jugram focuses his raiton chakra in his hand and forms the Ox → Rabbit → Monkey → Dragon → Rat → Bird → Ox → Snake → Dog → Tiger → Monkey hand seals. As this happens he applies shape manipulation allowing it to become a highly concentrated amount of lightning on his hand. Because of the nature of chidori and the extremely high concentration it sounds like a thousand chirping birds :3.

So this technique is a bit meh for me. I don't plan on taking lightning mastery so due to that the hand seals are a bit high for my taste. But nonetheless I'll explain it. This is a thrusting/cutting technique. With this technique active you can easily pierce through a person's body killing them almost instantly. As it is famously known for it lives up to its assassination uses.

As I said the number of hand seals makes it annoying. And since I am not kakashi or sasuage I can't really use it without hand seals :|. So I doubt I'm going to use this technique very often.

As his surroundings change Jugram notices the obvious changes. Nothing can hide from his eyes. A dry desert? The two of them were just in a grassy field. He then channels his raiton chakra just as his senpai had said in his body and released it from every single tenketsu. The full body surge released him from the genjutsu and returned his vision to him. Normally he'd of just activated his sharingan and Heaven and Earth'd the bastard. Alas. This was training.

So other than its obvious full body surge this has a few other cool and useful uses. You can channel it into the ground around you preventing doton, mokuton, hyouton and other techniques such as those from rising out. You can also use it to channel through water, whips, etc to use them as a medium to extend the range and damage of the technique. Its great to use on a taijutsu user coming into close range as its a quick no hand seal requiring full body release. If they come in contact with it they will experience full body paralysis. And short range is 5 meters so it is quite great.

Jugram channels raiton chakra into his palm and slams it on the ground unleashing a triangular wave of lightning toward the hill that his senpai pointed at. Well it wasn't really a mound more like a hill. His senpai had bad eyes ever since...well he's just got bad eyes :|. The lightning races toward it and cuts through the rock on the way and slices through the hill.

Cool technique. One question before I begin. Can it also be released as a projectile as well? Say I just slam my hand down and then remove it to have it go straight if I don't want to be streaming/directing it. So cool technique regardless. High cutting power and damage so it definitely is lethal on a direct hit. And if it can cut through a mound it can easily cut through multiple defenses (earth especially due to elemental advantages and strengths).

So chidori senbon. Been excited for this for a while. So instead of chidori where you have it as a cutting and piercing weapon on your hand you instead have it as a ranged weapon. This is cool and definitely useful. So the senbon can hit multiple targets and all of them no matter how many you release have the power to easily pierce through flesh and rock (within rank of course). It paralyzes the target too in localized areas where it hits which is fantastic. And as the technique states it is very, very fast. So in close range it can easily be a lethal attack. And the best advantage over the parent technique is that it doesn't require hand seals. So its an instant wave of the hands. This makes it very, very deadly.

Okay so once again a very versatile lightning technique. Compressed into the hand as a ball of lightning it can be thrown as a ranged orb, used similar to rasengan (melee weapon), or you can even channel it through other lightning techniques (lightning whip). And of course, no matter which method you pick it all ends with a massive electrical explosion that will kill them. And of course as you said its pretty quick no hand seals stuff so very good in melee combat for a quick counter.

No, I believe you must keep your hand on the ground for the duration of the jutsu, because it travels along the ground as a lightning bolt, therefore you need to keep fueling it with your Raiton.

Jugram channels his raiton chakra into his hand to form the regular old boring chidori. He then uses shape manipulation to create a long spear/sword shape from it that extends out to mid range. With it he angrily stabs the tree going on and on about how the Uchiha clan died for nothing and how Itachi is so awesome and what not.

So nice technique. Once again better than chidori because it doesn't require hand seals. It has a reach of 10 meters and will move in accordance to your arm so that is nice. It is good to keep in mind that as a 10 meter extension of your hand it has more limits than a regular sword. However it is good for slicing up things flying in the air or just stabbing your opponent angrily. And since it uses your arm strength it can cut through rock and other defenses.

Jugram channels raiton chakra around him to form a vortex/tornado of electricity. Using further shape manipulation the tornado takes the shape of a dragon's head at the top and lunges forward to strike the target.

So a multipurpose technique. You can use it to simply attack a target or you can use it to defend against S-rank dotons. The defense is what is really interesting. The technique doesn't require hand seals so the lightning forms quickly around you and can act as a quick defense against taijutsu users. If direct contact is made they will experience severe electrical burns and full body paralysis.

Jugram channels raiton chakra into his hand and then slams it onto the ground unleashing it into the terrain underneath his senpai's clone. After weaving a few hand seals a massive pillar of lightning erupts that covers all of short range around the clone. It is an immense pillar that vaporizes the clone.

So cool technique. My one complaint about this technique is that charging time it seems to take. First you need to weave a few hand seals, slam your hand on the ground, then pool the chakra beneath the target. So it isn't as fast as it could be. Lightning mastery could correct this setback but it isn't a big deal. It can be a massive pillar it seems that can cover a lot of short range. So it is a devastating technique that can instantly kill someone if they are hit by it.
