Yeah, I know it's odd (sorry for this statement_)! yeah, but I think a rule should have been made where a 3rd place is attributed only if there is a difference of not more than 10 between the 3rd and 2nd place!

I think it will have been more balanced that the winners are about on the same level! I mean it's a bit of of a huge difference between the 3rd and 2nd in terms of votes! Sorry to spammin' and I know this should go into the "Suggestion" section (if I didn't had to reply)!
