Soren’s Rest
This beach is the resting place of Soren, a legendary giant that warded off the first Hangurian colonial invasion of Tobusekai 400 years ago. The legend of the giant Soren is one seeped in sorrow and sacrifice; one of the last giants of his kind, the towering behemoth struggled to ward off the invaders for days, single handedly defeating a Hangurian army of Black Ones and normal soldiers that is said to have numbered over 15,000. In the process of the battle Soren lost his life and was buried here, although his remains have mysteriously gone missing. The beach itself is peaceful, much like the neighboring Siren’s Lair, with the exception of the specter of death lingering. The beach is gracefully touched by peaceful waters, and the tree line to the east is dramatically cut off by the presence of the Pit. The animal life here is by and large friendly; bunnies and birds scatter about, seeking food and playfully enjoying the beach.
