Knuckles and vexus return from the flashback.Knuckles looks angry.Vexus notices and smiles.
Knuckles:you monster!!.i always thought that the echidnas were destroyed by that alien but not knwing that you had a hand in this.so what has this got to do with my master vertium

h silly me, i forgot to tell you what happened.After some years when you were 12.i tracked you down to take you and the master emerald but the old birdie was sly.he knew that you weren't ready so he used a technique to make lose conciousness and lose the memory of him but not the master emerald.then he sent you in the spacecraft to the palce i found you with eggman. i was annoyed when that old geezer thwarted my plans and defeated me in battle but it caused him his life.after that i decided to wait till it was time to come for you.
Knuckles i will make you pay for that.
Vexus:enough waste of time.i have to start and go to the planet Seres.i will use this electric beam to force your power to make the master emerald open the door.(he walks to a machine and aims the beam at the knuckles).This is going to hurt you more than it's going to hurt me.
(he activates the machime and an electric beam is fired at knuckles.he starts to scream with pain as the beams shocks him badly.Then the crescent symbol on his chest starts to glow brightly and so as the master emerald.Then a warp gate is open behind the master emerald and the planet is seen.vexus shuts the machine down).
Vexus:yes i did it.the planet does exist.thanks knuckles now i can take control of that planet.(he jumps into the warp gate and leaves knuckles there who sees this and gnashes his teeth)
chapter 6
Meanwhile sonic and his friends are in the aircraft searching the ground for the hideouts of Vexus
Rouge:i hope knuckles is ok.it will be bad if something nasty happens to him
Sonic:don't worry we will find him
Amy:wow,rouge this is quite a surprise.you caring about knuckles
Rouge:Listen here sister!!.i care about knuckles because.....
tails;sonic come quick.something is wrong with the chaos emeralds and the sol emeralds.They are beginning to glow all of a sudden.
(everyone comes to the cockpit and sees that the chaos and sol emeralds have gone outside and have formed a circle as before the plane.they begin to glow and sonic and team are showed all that knuckles has gone through with vexus.
Blaze:we need to rescue him.if the planet exist and the warp gate is opened then it's bad.
Sonic:i agree.you have a point but how?.
(Just then the emeralds transport all of them from the plane and takes them to the room where knuckles is. knuckles sees them with surprise
Knuckles:Guys how did you get here.?
Amy:knuckles you are ok.(they set him free and notice that he is badly hurt.cream and cheese heal him up)
Shadow;looks like you have seen better days
Rouge:i'm glad you are ok
Knuckles:no time to talk guys.i have to go and stop Vexus.i will make him pay
Sonic;wow easy knuckles.we saw what happened through the chaos and sol emeralds.you can't fight this guy alone.we have to stop him as a team
Knuckles:this fight is not your fight sonic.
Amy:don't be subborn knuckles
(she gets angry at him)the only way to defeat that guy is only we fight as a team.after all that is what friends are there for.(knuckles looks at all of them and sees the sense in what they have said)
Knuckles;ok let's go we have to stop him.
Sonic:alright guys, let's go get him.(they all jump into the warp gate)
