-Cleans himself with a brush- Gah.. All this dust, and are you malfuncioning, Walking piece of junk? -Looks up and sees it is Metal Sonic- Oh my... The hell... -Realizes something is glowing inside Metal Sonics head, and his eyes widen- Could it be!?... -A boulder from the right is thrown at Metal Sonic- Give it!! I know you're hiding something, i need it! -Two more boulders are above Metal Sonic-

Metal Sonic: simply dodges the attack, and slams his fist into J's stomach "YOU'RE PATHETIC, WORM!" DODGE THIS!" Metal Sonic starts spinning around J at crazy speeds and lashing out every now and then​

-The light stone armor gets destroyed while protecting J- You robots... Are strong physically, but not mentally!! -A pillar erupts between J and Metaonic as J punches through it and grabs Metaonic, spikes portrude out of the Pillar- Dodge what? I don't dodge! I hit!

James: *see the fight and duck behind a tree*

Event: Canon Encounter!

Metal Sonic: "CHAOS....CONTROL!" Metal Sonic teleports behind J and starts strangling him, nearly crushing his throat. "THIS CHAOS EMERALD GIVES ME UNLIMITED POWER DUE TO MY CHAOS CIRCUITS! I CAN TAP INTO EVERY CORNER! I CAN WIN!"​

(So, i'm guessing his weaknesses are his head?)

-Cough- No... Bad choice friend... -J's hair turns black and portrudes Metaonic's head as Darkness seeps out of J- Bad choice indeed... -J spins and grinds into Metaonic as black fire burns him- You are no match for me!

(Ok, earth power and black flames? I call BS.)

Event: Canon Encounter!

Metal Sonic: "Fine...then...you shall not-" a shock of electricity hits his body and he jitters, but then he continues "-have this emerald..." he teleports outside the forcefield, leaving J trapped (For a while, not too long though) and flies off slowly​

(The flames are there because the fire from grinding was affected by darkness and turned black, amd darkness is cold so the flames turned to ice quckly afterwards cooling his wounds, not Amaterasu)

-Tens of boulders and rocks are stricking the barrier- NOOOOOO!!!!! I need that emerald!!!!!! -Alot of darkness is seeping out of J, it is very visible- GIVE... ME... THAT.... --A huge boulder below Metaonic rises slowly-... EMERALD... -The huge boulder/hill is infront of Metaonic-

Metal Sonic: "Damn you! Stop!" he flies up, and faces the boulder "CHAOS BLAST!" he launches a blast of energy that slams the boulder and blows it up. He takes off as quickly as he can.​

I TOLD YOU I NEED THAT EMERALD!!! -Two more boulders of the same size are infront and behind Metaonic- GIVE IT!!! -The boulders clash into each other- GET ME OUT!!! -A tunnel is carved through the ground that J goes through and faces a near-dead Metaonic- GIVE ME...

Metal Sonic: looks his death in the eye "so, this is where it ends, huh..." he closes his eyes and braces himself​

... -Reaches his hand out, and takes the Chaos Emerald through the hole previously caused by J's hair- Yes... Finally... -The Emerald sinks inside a pool of darkness on the floor and dissapears- I do not need to kill you... Go to the base for repairs and do not cross my path ever again... -A black hole appears behind Metaonic- Go... Before i change my mind...

*Before the emerald can be taken, Mecha Sonic rushes in to Metal's aid.*

Mecha Sonic: uses his three emeralds to teleport away with Metal Sonic, and drops one of them, the Green Emerald​
